Tatsuki waited for him for a few seconds more before moving into action. Moving in a burst of speed, thanks to her training with Yoruichi and Soi-fon, she jumped at the last second, instantly putting her blade parallel to his neck. "And that makes you dead," she spoke though she kept her guard up just in case he tried to do something stupid.

Omaeda stopped dead." Okay I surrender. I don't want to die." He said full of fear. He knew that he was a coward and that maybe it had been a bad idea to bribe people into letting him be Lieutenant of Squad two." I'll do anything, just don't kill me." He said trembling.

"Anything huh? Then leave. Tell Taichou that you believe you aren't fit to be in your position," Tatsuki said coldly, resisting the urge to scowl. It was people like him that she hated the most.

" I will. I will." Omeada said and hurried to Soi-fon's office. He then went to the rukon district and would spend the rest of his days here. He hadnt seen his captain, but had left a note saying that he resigned.

Tatsuki was dumbstruck, half expecting him to do something underhanded or politically stupid to get back at her, though she was glad that hadn't happened. As she came back to her senses, she started hearing clapping all around her.

" Congratulations. Lieutenant Arisawa. " Soifon said coming out of the shadows. She was disappointed in Omaeda's choice to abandon the life of a Shinigami , since he could have chosen to train harder.

Tatsuki blushed lightly as she got praise from her captain and the other shinigami in the squad as well. "Thanks Taichou, everyone."

Soi-Fon was glad Omaeda was gone but dreaded filing the report of a Shinigami that ran away. " Do you still want the lieutenant spot?" She asked Tatsuki an was ready to teach Tatsuki what she would need to know.

Tatsuki nodded her head quickly at that. "It's the least I can do, Taichou," she responded.

" Then here is the armband of the Squad 2 lieutenant."Soi-Fon said with a smile. She had a few hours before the next captains meeting. She had a feeling it had to do with a vision Hoshi and Katia may have had. She feared that Gin would soon attack here and hoped she was wrong.

"Thanks," Tatsuki said before taking the armband from Soi-fon's hand, curious as to why it was some sort of flower. Mentally shrugging, she tied it around her left arm, ignorant of the troubles going through Soi-fon's mind.

"Do you think the visions we had will happen Shii-chan?" Hoshi asked her cousin as they went to the daily training session. It was different being a part of a large group but Hoshi was loving it.

"I hope not Star-chan," Katia replied. They had both seen Gin enter into the Soul Society, but hadn't seen what happened to them in the vision, nor did they see Tatsuki or Nel either. "I just hope everyone's okay..."

" I hope so too. It was good to hear from dad though." Hoshi said with a small smile. She was glad he was safe and hoped he would remain that way.

Katia nodded as well, glad that he was doing well after that scare. "It was a good thing that we had that vision...I'd hate to think what would have happened otherwise," she said softly.

" Do too." Hoshi said solemnly. She knew that the more they trained the stronger they would be to help fight Gin, but had a feeling that they wouldn't be able to fight.

Katia hoped that they would be able to fight with the vision that they had, but she had a feeling that their captain wouldn't allow it. She was starting to get sick of standing on the sidelines and being the "damsel".

Hoshi was getting sick of being the damsel too, but had a feeling Captain Ukitake would have them doing something that would feel like they were helping out


Gin was ready for this . He had waited much too long to invade the Soul Society and opened a portal between the worlds. He knew the hollows rushing to the other side would keep everyone busy while he and a few Arrancars did the important work. .

Nel felt the gate open long before any of the Hollows or Arrancars came through. She just hoped that Gin was making Soul Society his first visit and just sent out a lot of his forces here to preoccupy everyone here.

" Nel, want to help me fight these hollows? Just stay close." Urahara asked and had Benihime already ready for the fight.

Nel nodded quickly before focusing reiatsu around her body, quickly becoming her adult form and drawing her blade. "What about Victorai and Jean?" she asked Kisuke as she quickly moved to his side.

" I'm going to as them too. We need to get rid of these hollows in case Gin is in Soul Soicety " Urahara said knowing these hollows were a distraction .

"If we're going to Soul Society, we'll need those markers again," Nel reminded him. Even though she hated the tag that was placed around her arm, it let other shinigami know that they were on their side.

" Yes we will. I have more incase they get damaged at all. " Urahara said. He had been trying to make those markers indestructible but the process was going much slower than he wanted it too.

"I thought you said it was fixed," Nel said as she pierced the mask of one of the Hollows. Cannon Fodder such as this were a little on the weak side for her.
