Hoshi felt something evil and was glad Katia was back at Squad 13. Hoshi turned around and headed back to the barracks feeling she could be in danger out here.

Rangiku wished she was a better sensor at times like this, especially since she could find Gin and at least try persuading him to stop this foolish plan of his.

Gin sensed Rangiku catching up with him and knew she would try and convince him to stop all this. Gin opened a gate and would come back later. He didn't like he was becoming more dependent on the amulet.

Rangiku stopped when she felt Gin's reiatsu disappear. 'The heck was that?' she asked as she looked towards the alley that she thought she sensed Gin in just a few seconds ago. 'Maybe it's my imagination,' the vice captain of the tenth division thought, but couldn't help the nagging feeling that Gin really was there...

Toshiro had also sensed Gin and went to find Matsumoto. " Did you see him? " He asked Rangiku hoping she had sensed Gin also.

"I sensed him Taichou, but he vanished. I don't know if he's using that amulet right now or not, but I think he's gone," Rangiku replied, sighing lightly. She wished that she could have at least talked to her old friend and try to see what was going on. "Do you want to check on Hoshi and Katia?" she then asked.

" I do. I sense they are safe but I have a feeling that Hoshi may have sensed Gin. " Toshiro said since he had been going to meet Hoshi when he had sensed Gin.

"Do you want to check in on her?" she asked.

" I do. "Toshiro said. " Can you send a message to the other captains about this. I know this might signal when the next battle may happen. " Toshiro said.

Rangiku nodded as she quickly created a Hell's Butterfly and sent the message to all of the other captains.

" Did you sense Gin too?" Hoshi asked Katia when she arrived back to their quarters. She couldn't fogey the sinister feeling that still lingered in the air.

Katia nodded. "I did, for a brief second, but it's gone now," she replied. Katia was ready to go out and look for Hoshi when she sensed Gin, but before she could, the scent had already vanished.

" It was the same for me but it was very strong. " Hoshi said and sensed Toshiro coming closer to the barracks.

Toshiro made his way towards the thirteenth barrack, hoping that both girls were okay. He wouldn't lie when he said he was worried.

" I have a feeling that soon we'll be going back to the living world. I don't know how I feel about this though, since I feel more comfortable here. " Hoshi said knowing they still would need to report to their squad from time to time.

Katia nodded in understanding. "Well, it does make sense, especially since your boyfriend is here," she said.

Hoshi blushed a little bit. " I know this was only temporary but I have a feeling someday we'll both be here with the ones we love. " Hoshi said having the feeling Katia would soon find out who the man in her dreams was.

Katia blushed lightly at what her cousin was implying. "I hope so," she said silently. She also knew that this was only temporarily and wondered how they would continue their duties to their division.

Tetsu was enjoying the time he was able to spend with his brother but wondered what the message that had been left was about. Tetsu always had hoped that Saburo and Kukaku had married and hoped now that those two could.

Subaro had a feeling that his brother was planning something and was curious about what it was...and hoped that it was nothing of a prank or something of the sort.

" Brother I think it's time we take care of something important once and for all. Today is Saturday and I have permission to go to Soul Society this weekend. Isshin wants me to take a message to his sister Kukaku and wants you to come with me." Tetsu said . He just hoped his brother agreed to this.

(Now why would I want to slap a beauty like you? Depends on what you want to do though)

"Kukaku, huh? Hm...How long ago has it been since I've last heard that name?" he asked in wonder before thinking back to his memories of the past.

"Probably since the Shiba elders told you that you couldn't marry her. " Tetsu said solemnly, knowing how heartbroken his older brother had been that day.

(I just know of the Marvel universe through movies and cartoons. I don't know the comics all that well, but you're welcome to send them all the same)

"Ugh, you had to remind me of that, didn't you?" Subaro said with a light scowl. It was one of the worse days of his life.

( i only know the movies and the one shots. The only reason I bought Iron Man 3 on Blu ray was to get the Agent Carter short. The comics seem too intimidating to me. I'll send you a PM. )


" I am sorry. But I'll make it up to you by letting you remind me how much if an idiot I was when was younger. Are we ready to go then?" Tetsu said knowing both Saburo and Kukaku had the chance to be together now that Saburo was a Royal Guard.
