"You touch Hoshi-chan and no place will be safe from me," Toushiro threatened. He wasn't going to let Kusaka take Saya or Hoshi.

Hoshi shuddered at a cold feeling in the air and had a feeling Kusaka was in the area. " I'm glad I'm inside." Hoshi said as she did her classwork.

"cousin?" Katia asked, wondering what was wrong.

" He is out there. " Hoshi said and feared being captured.

Katia clutched her pendant within her hand, ready to use it at a moment's notice. "Just say the word," she whispered.

" I will but as long as I stay around people I'll be safe." Hoshi said and heard the bell ring for lunch.

"Then let's make sure that happens. We should also tell Ichi and the others," Katia replied.

" Alright. " Hoshi said and grabbed her lunch from her backpack. She wasn't going to let anyone ruin her day.

Ichigo grabbed his lunch from his bag once the bell rang, sighing softly. Today had just been brutal so far.

" Ichigo?" Hoshi said and shuddered. She knew Kusaka was trying to intimidate her and Saya and she didn't like this at all.

Ichigo turned his head when he heard his name being called. "Star-chan?" he asked, curious as to what she wanted.

" I know Kusaka is watching the school. I just have a feeling he is here for me and Saya. " She said.

"Why is he after Saya-chan? Is this something that ties in with the events Ryu-koi and I saw this morning?" he asked.

" I don't know really. " Hoshi said seeing Saya was nervous.

"Please don't lie to me Star-chan," Ichigo said with a light sigh.

" I'm Soji's sister from a past life of mine. I have a feeling Captain Hitsugaya told Hoshi but I understand why she kept that secret. " Saya said.

"And let me guess, Kusaka had something for you in the past and is trying to get you back?" Tatsuki asked as she put her own two cents in.

" He is and I'm scared as to why he wants me again." Saya said and knew her Quincy abilties alone weren't strong enough to keep herself safe.

"But that's why we're here Saya-chan. Friends have to stick together after all," she said with a grin. She wouldn't let Saya get captured, not if her bankai had anything to say about it.

" I know. I'm glad I have you all as my friends. " Saya said with a smile.

"Which is why we're going to help you every step of the way Saya-chan," Ichigo said. "Now then...I hate to break up a moment like this, but I'm hungry and I'm going to eat lunch.

" Sounds like a good idea to me. " Saya said and followed the others.

Hoshi nodded as well, knowing that they couldn't let one person scare them.

Kusaka knew now wasn't the time to attack and would comeback later, since he wanted to be sure his Saya knew about her shinigami abilities before he captured her.
