Isshin knew as well that Yuzu had unlocked her powers and hoped she trusted him enough to say something. He saw Ichigo leave his room and headed toward his son. " You sensed it too?" He asked.

"Yeah. And I have a feeling Kusaka will come after one of my Imoutos next," he responded.

" I also fear that. " Isshin said. " I want to test Yuzu after breakfast. I don't know if she's more like your mom or like me. " He said.

"She could also be like me, a mixture of both," he replied.

" That's possible. Though I'm thinking she's an elemental Quincy like Naomi is. But maybe not an ice shooter , possibly a wind one. " Isshin said thinking.

"Maybe" Ichigo responded.

" Breakfast is ready" Yuzu yelled wondering where her dad and brother were.

"Coming Imouto!" Ichigo shouted from upstairs, as did a muffled response coming from Karin's room. 'I will protect them...I must,' he thought silently before heading to the kitchen.

Karin finished getting dressed and headed down the stairs for breakfast. She was concerned about her twin and hoped Yuzu would tell them about her powers.

Yuzu was unsure if she should tell her family about her powers or not yet, especially since she hadn't gotten complete control of them just yet...

" Is everything okay Yuzu-chan?" Isshin asked an hated to we his youngest look so worried.

"Everything's fine, dad," Yuzu replied.

" Are you sure?" Isshin asked." When you are ready you can tell us what is bothering you." He said kindly knowing she didn't want to think about her abilities.

Yuzu contemplated answering for a second before sighing, knowing that her brother and father would only worry until she said something about it. "Well...there is something bothering me. I think my powers came into fruition, but...I really don't want to fight," she said while looking down, thinking her brother, father and twin sister would hate her for the last part of the sentence.

" That's understandable Yuzu. Though I have a feeling fighting isn't the nature of your abilities. " Isshin said.

"You don't papa?" Yuzu asked, surprised.

" You might be a healer. At least your Quincy powers might be like that. If you have Shinigami powers as well, they be more offensive. " Isshin explained.

"Not exactly true dad, or did you forget about the fourth division?" Ichigo asked.

" You would be surprised at those in the Fourth that have defensive abilities. Why do you think almost everyone is afraid of Captain Unohana?" Isshin said shuddering.

"Ichigo smirked at that. "Why do you think I brought her up?"

" So you can convince me that my powers will be both defensive and offensive. " Yuzu said and put the plate of pancakes on the table.

"Perhaps,"

"or to show that you can be a badass while still being a healer nee-chan," Karin replied as she came down the stairs, hearing the conversation on the way.

" I can be badass. " Yuzu said knowning her sister could be one and so could Tatsuki.

"You could be, if you wanted to sis/Imouto," both Karin and Ichigo said with a light laugh. "Though that choice is completely up to you Imouto," Ichigo said.

Yuzu nodded. " How do I find out what my powers are ?" She asked.
