"Very close," the spirit said. In a few more minutes, Yuzu would find herself within the lake that she was currently residing in though was unable to get out. Not because it was Yuzu's soulscape but because she was a mermaid.

" I found you! You're a mermaid. " Yuzu said in awe.

"Yup," she said with a grin, splashing her a little with her tail.

" Do I get to learn your name or do I need to fight you first? My older siblings told me I might have to fight." Yuzu said.

"Well it would be quite awkward to fight when I don't have legs, and it isn't fair to you to fight underwater. Besides, I'm not much of a fighter," Fuyuki said. "My name is Fuyuki," she then said, not knowing if Yuzu heard her or not.

" It is nice to meet you Fuyuki. " Yuzu said and politely bowed.

"I'm glad you could hear my voice Yuzu-chan!" Fuyuki replied happily.

" What sort of abilties do you have. I know I'm not a fighter but I know I can be useful being a healer. "Yuzu said.

"Funny you should mention that...I'm more agile in water obviously, and I can also use water to heal anyone from a lot of things, except death of course, and I can also create mist in order to hide and dodge," the mermaid responded.

" Really? Sounds cool. Can't wait to learn how to do that." Yuzu said.

"Don't worry, I'll teach you. But first you need to learn my activation phrase," she said with a grin.

" What must I do to learn it?" Yuzu asked.

"You came through that maze. The maze was created because of your dark memories, thoughts and the like. So technically you've already earned it" Fuyuki explained.

" Really?"Yuzu said and thought of her dark memories.

"Really"

" I what do I say?" Yuzu said excitedly.

"'Arise from the depths to heal my Allies, Fuyuki' is all that you have to say," Fuyuki responded.

"That's awesome Fuyuki! I know we are going to be good friends I promise." Yuzu said with a smile.

"Of course we are, I'm part of you after all," Fuyuki said with a grin. "Though I wouldn't be surprised if you gained some of my scales when you activate Shikai," she added.

" Sounds cool. " Yuzu said with a smile. " I better wake up soon, but I promise you I'll talk to you often. " She said.

"I would like that," the mermaid said happily.

"Talk to you later. " Yuzu said waving goodbye and woke up.

Kisuke saw that Yuzu woke up. "Glad to see that you're back with us Yuzu-chan. Anything interesting happen?" the man asked.

" I met my Zanpaktou spirit! " Yuzu said and told Kisuke all about her adventure.
