Tatsuki was surprised at how quick the day went before saying a goodbye to everyone and how she would see them tomorrow. She was also glad that Ichigo had given her a copy of his notes and the assignments that she would have to make up before heading off and back to her apartment at a brisk pace, feeling that someone was following her.

Once she got to her apartment building she nodded to the landlady and rushed up the stairs before heading into her room and locking the door. Once she locked the door, she felt safe and got ready for bed. In the morning, she got up and did her normal routine before heading out towards school. She wondered if either Hoshi or Ichigo were feeling the same things she was.

Hoshi sat down at her usual bench and waited for Ichigo and Tatsuki. She waved when she saw them come in the gate. She wondered if she should mention about being followed .

Ichigo waved towards Hoshi as both he and Tatsuki headed towards her.

Tatsuki knew she should have mentioned the gut feeling she had last night on her way home, but she didn't want to bother Ichigo, especially since he would get all overprotective on her, knowing him as she did so she kept quiet about it. She saw Hoshi and waved as both she and Ichigo headed towards her.

" Morning ! How are you guys today?" She asked with a smile. Hoshi decided against saying anything about being followed.

"We're doing fine Hoshi-chan, what about you?" She asked.

" I'm doing good ."Hoshi said.

"That's good," Tatsuki said with a small smile and wanted to talk to Hoshi about something later.

Ichigo held back on a growl as he saw Hoshi doing the same thing that Tatsuki was doing: holding back information. He responded that he was glad to hear she was fine though with the same words that Tatsuki said.

Ichigo...perhaps they have a reason for you not to know, Zangetsu said as Ichigo sent a mental nod to his spirit and a small complaint that he wished they told him all the same causing the spirit to laugh. You know, maybe they aren't telling you because sometimes you get a little overprotective of your friends. the spirit said as he heard nothing from Ichigo and sighed.

The bell rang and Hoshi got up. She would talk to Tatsuki before lunch and ask her if she was followed too . Sitting down at her desk , she got her homework out for the last two days and passed them up to the front.

Ichigo and Tatsuki heard the bell as well and headed inside. Ichigo got his homework out while Tatsuki would hand hers in later.

The lunch bell rang and Hoshi got her lunch out. She waited by the door for Tatsuki . "Tatsu I need to ask you something. " Hoshi said once Tatsuki had met her at the door. She hated to keep this from Ichigo, but she didnt want him to worry.

Tatsuki heard the lunch bell and met Hoshi outside the door as she usually did, her lunch bag in her hand. Once she heard Hoshi though, she wondered what was up. "What is it Hoshi?" Tatsuki quickly asked.

" I was followed today , same as last night when I went home from the park. " Hoshi whispered once the others were out of earshot.

Tatsuki raised an eyebrow. "So was I," she whispered back. This wasn't good...if someone was targeting them in order to get to Ichigo...she didn't like the idea of that. "What if we're being targeted by someone who hates Ichigo in Soul Society? Now that he's weak...," she said, not knowing that he had regained his powers the weekend before.

" I hope not. Who there would want to hurt him?" Hoshi asked. Hoshi wanted to ask Rukia the questions she had, but wasnt sure when to ask. She hoped she saw Rukia soon.

"Me neither...and I don't know. Maybe an admirer of Aizen or something?" She asked, not exactly believing it herself. Then again, it could have been anything. She didn't like it though, the fact that she was being targeted just for being Ichigo's friend.

" Could be. But who would admire Aizen after all terrible things he did? " Hoshi said cringing at the thought. Hoshi still feared Aizen , even though she knew he was imprisoned . She didn't like the fact that she and Tatsuki were targets. " We better get to the roof before Ichigo worrys too much." Hoshi would ask Chad or Ishida to walk with her to school in the mornings , though she knew Chad would gladly do so. It still bothered her that Ishida sometimes didn't trust her. They did get along better than they did at first though.

Tatsuki chuckled at that. "Good question and point. I don't mind Ichigo's protective spirit all that much, but sometimes its as if we're damsels in distress or..." at that, Tatsuki blushed, causing Ryuenjin to laugh hard. She was going to finish that statement with the word "girlfriends"

Hoshi blushed too, knowing what she was going to say. This caused Indigo to giggle . Hoshi sat down and unwrapped her turkey and swiss cheese sandwich once she got to the roof . She thought about Asami and felt sad. Hoshi remembered to day was three years since they first met in the park . Asami had told Hoshi that she was ready to pass on. Two months after the Winter War was over , Asami had agreed to be konsoed. Hoshi wiped her eyes and hoped no one noticed her tears.

After hearing non-stop laughter from her spirit, she imagined a giant mute button for him and quickly pressed it, before hearing nothing. Sighing lightly in relief, she unwrapped her simple peanut butter and jelly sandwich and started eating. When she looked up, she noticed that Hoshi was crying. Knowing that she was thinking about Asami, she wondered if the ghost that became her friend would become a shinigami or not.

Hoshi finished her sandwich and sat there. She often wondered if Asami had became a shinigami . Hoshi wished she had a way to find out . The bell rang and Hoshi went back to class . Hoshi worked hard to finish her homework in study hall . After class had ended for the day she waited in the hall for Ichigo. She waved goodbye to Orihime , Chad and Ishida as they left . She debated on whether to ask Ishida to walk with her in the mornings, but decided to wait.

After lunch ended, Tatsuki went back inside school with the others and returned to her seat and took notes. During the last hour, which was their collective study break, Tatsuki turned in the homework from the previous days from when she was absent. After returning to her seat, she set out to finish today's homework before the end of the school day. Once the day ended, she got up and headed towards the dojo for today's lesson.

Ichigo noticed Hoshi's tear and felt bad, knowing that Asami was konso'ed by her. He thought about asking Kisuke to see if he could find out about Asami and would do so after school let out for the day since he didn't have work. Once the bell rang, he returned to his seat with the others and took notes and answered questions whenever he was called on. When school had let out, he left tomorrow's homework finished inside his desk as he raced over to Kisuke's.

Hoshi went home and locked the door. She still felt she was followed on the way home. She got changed into casual clothes and did her chores for the day.
Urahara was glad to see Ichigo. " Good to see you so soon. " He said .

"Oh?" Ichigo asked in curiosity.

" Just been wondering how you have been doing since you regained your abilities. Is something on your mind?"Urahara asked, recognizing the look on Ichigo's face.

Ichigo nodded and told the shop owner his suspicions. He wasn't mad at them, but he was annoyed. He thought that they would trust him enough to know when to help...or at least he thought he did.
