Rukia noticed the two watching the spar lightly, and could just see the thoughts going in their heads: they both wanted to fight, but weren't sure as to how...yet. She'd think about it and brainstorm with both Yoruichi and Kisuke.

Ichigo noticed that Rukia and the others were watching them. "Hey Tatsuki, how good are you at sensing attacks?" Ichigo asked as he got a small frown on Tatsuki's face, giving him an answer, one that he didn't expect. He thought that she would be able to sense spiritual attacks, given her high control or reishi. "Want to try on a low setting?" He asked, getting a small nod from the new shinigami. He then charged up a low-powered Getsuga and fired it at her, knowing that even if she didn't block it, it wouldn't hurt her much.

While the friends were at Urahara's, Aizen was planning his next move. So far everything had gone according to plan. All he needed now was for Tetsuya to be eliminated . He needed him gone so he could get Hoshi. He didn't plan on her training to be a shinigami ,if she ever decided to that is. That was the last thing he wanted. He needed her powers to amplify reiatsu untainted as well as her abilities as a Seer. Both her abilities were different than her parents. How different they were he wanted to find out.

Tetsu was debating on whether to tell Hoshi about his past. There was a chance she already knew. If she did, he would do his best to explain everything. He hoped she was safe. He wanted her to be able to defend herself. Even if it meant him training her to be a shinigami. He knew Ichigo was one ,along with Kuchiki-san as Hoshi called her. He looked out the window of his hotel room in Kyoto. Tomorrow he'd be home.

Hoshi wondered what it was like to be a shinigami. She wanted to keep her dad safe. He was all she had left for family.She hoped Ichigo and Rukia would agree to her decision. She wanted to know more about her dad's family also. Did he have any left? What were their names? She knew much more about her mom's family than his. She kept watching Tatsuki and Ichigo spar.

Tatsuki ducked under the low powered waves of energy that Ichigo sent at her, noticing that he was speeding them up bit by bit. A few hours later, both shinigami were tired. Ichigo from using all of his energy to power his attacks, and Tatsuki for dodging most of them. She was glad that Ichigo didn't put all of his power into those energy blades.

Rukia spots the two of them finishing up, scowling lightly at them using up so much energy. She glanced at her watch and noticed that it was just a little after five. Somehow knowing Isshin knew where they were, she didn't bother mentioning it, unless someone asked. As she saw Tatsuki and Ichigo merge with their physical bodies, she noticed both Asami and Hoshi deep in thought. I wonder what they're thinking about. Could it be about helping out? she thought to herself, not knowing how to ask without sounding extremely rude.

As her friends finished thier training ,Hoshi snapped out of the thoughts she was having. She hoped she was allowed to train also. Asami hoped she could do something too. Hoshi was wondering when the best time to ask would be. She went up to Rukia and said," Kuchiki-san? Is it alright if I ask you something later? I want Ichigo to be there too. I want to know your opinions on what I've decided and if it's a good idea." She hoped she wasn't being rude and wondered if this was the right thing to do.

Rukia was curious about what Hoshi wanted to ask about, but would wait until later that day, seeing as how she asked Ichigo to also be there. Seeing Hoshi still looking at her, noticing that she wanted an answer. "Sorry, I was just thinking. I don't see why Ichigo would say no, and neither would I." She said, seeing Ichigo and Tatsuki coming towards them.

"What are you two talking about?"

" I want to ask you and Rukia something later. I just want to know if what I've decided is a good idea or not . I'm still debating if it is though.I want to help fight . I don't want to run anymore. I want to prevent my dad from being killed." Hoshi was determined to do something . She wasn't sure if her dad died in the dream. That's why she had to do something.She knew once she made that choice , there was no turning back. " Dad always told me never to run from my problems, but to face them with courage. Even if he ran from his troubles I'm not going to make the same mistake. I dont want to hide anymore Ichigo ." She really wanted to be brave about asking them .

Tetsu had a thought about Hoshi . He knew knew she was safe, he would know if she wasn't . He was going to tell her tomorrow . It would be a difficult conversation but it needed to be said before it was too late.

"You want to fight?" Ichigo asked, surprised. His surprise didn't mean he thought it was a bad idea, he just didn't think Hoshi would want to help. If she wanted to fight, then he wouldn't mind helping her with anything that came their way, especially since he knew that Aizen would come back eventually, it was only a matter of time. He would, however, wait to see what Rukia thought about it before making his own decision.

"What about you Asami-chan? If there was a way for you to fight, then would you want to?" he asked, surprising the ghost girl. Ichigo already had thoughts about how to help her, but it included talking to his father, Kisuke or both, about it. He was pretty sure they wouldn't say no if given the chance.

(( I think it's a great idea! I want to go to an anime con someday . Have to find one near me though. The closest one so far is a six hour drive.))

"I do want to fight Ichigo. If my dad dies ,I'll have no family left. Grandma is in her last days so I will be alone if dad is killed. I need to help you fight Aizen. If he wants my abilities I need to defend myself from him the best I can. If he was the one who caused that explosion that killed my mom , I don't want to end up like her. I don't know how my dad would react to me fighting. He's always protected me. I have to protect him. Even though I'm not as strong as he is. I don't want to be helpless anymore ." She was determined to do something to help.

"I would do anything to help. I don't want to see my best friend like this any more.
But I'm just a ghost.I can't even defend my self from other pluses let alone a hollow." She looked at Ichigo. She hoped he could find a way for her to help.

Just what are you talking about Ichigo? Rukia thought to herself, waiting to hear her partner out before coming at him with Sode no Shiroyuki or not. Of course this would have to wait until after Ichigo told her his plans, assuming that he would.

Hoshi wondered what Ichigo's plan was for her and Asami to help. She hoped he and Rukia would support her decision to become a shinigami. She was worried that she'd lose her ability to see things in advance though. It was a risk she would have to take eventually. "Ichigo I want to train to be a shinigami. I have to defend my dad . I'll do it even if I lose my ability to see things before they happen." She had said it . Hoshi hoped he would agree to help her and Asami fight back.

Ichigo was surprised. He had thoughts of her becoming one, but he wasn't sure what she wanted, and as such, would talk to Kisuke or Yoruichi first to see if they would train her if she wanted to become a shinigami. However, this changed things. "I don't see why not" was all that he said as he saw her grin.

"Asami-chan, I need to have a few conversations first with my dad before I tell you my ideas of how you can help us fight. I don't want to tell you now and get your hopes up before having to cut your legs out from underneath you, no pun intended," he said, already thinking of the conversations that he would have to have with both Kisuke and his father...and Rukia as well. He knew that the plus spirit wouldn't want to hear it, but it would be even worse if he told him his ideas and then had to tell her that she couldn't.

"Since you're half shinigami...it may be easier for you to become a shinigami, if you want. I'm not sure what it will do to either of your abilities, but you have high Reiatsu already, just like Straw-chan," Rukia said, ignoring Ichigo's glare. No matter what he said about taking his name of protector seriously, he would always be their Strawberry, as she continued "that I, or Ichigo, could stab you with our zanpaktou, granting you a small amount of our energy. If you do this, I honestly suggest Ichigo doing it, since someone took all my energy last time," she said, looking at Ichigo as she said it.

"Okay. I understand if I can't help." What was his plan for Asami to help?

" Alright. I'm ready to do this " She took a deep breath . She was nervous about this but she tried not to show it. " Ichigo if anything bad happens I'm sorry." She didn't know what to expect to happen but she was ready to help . She wished she could remember more of the second dream. She had to focus on what was happening now. Things were going to change ,hopefully for the better.

"Before Straw-chan uses this method...why couldn't he use it for me?" Tatsuki asked, curious. She didn't mind going through the trials that it took to become a shinigami, but if there was an easier and safer method, then why wasn't it used for her?

"No offense to you Tatsuki-chan, but both Ichigo and Hoshi are half shinigami, both through their father," she said, ignoring the sound of surprise and shock from Ichigo. Continuing on, she continued, "and you are fully human. As such, we could not use this method for you." Rukia explained, causing Tatsuki to frown, but nod, understanding exactly why she couldn't use the same method as Ichigo and Hoshi.

"Are you sure about this? Once I do this, you can't turn back." Ichigo said, readying Zangetsu to pierce Hoshi and give her some of his reiatsu, unlocking her shinigami blood. He still had reservations about hurting one of his first friends, but if she was sure about doing this, then he would do as she asked.

"I am sure Ichigo. I know I can't go back on this. " She said confidently. She saw him ready his sword and she stood as still as she could. The room was quiet as Hoshi waited to become a shinigami. She was ready.Hoshi was shocked to hear that Ichigo was also half-shinigami. She wondered if Ichigo did know before today . She was still thinking about her own father being one .

((I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures. Did the list help you with some of the cosplayers?))

Ichigo mentally growled at his father, making sure to talk to his old man the next time he talked to him...he would have to answer a lot of interesting questions. Hearing that she was ready and willing to do this, he steadied his arm and lightly stabbed her with Zangetsu, some of his reiatsu entering her body. A small sheen of smoke appeared around her as his reiatsu unlocked her shinigami form.

(You can describe her shinigami form, but I don't think it would interfere with her two powers that she already has)

Hoshi felt a surge of energy after being stabbed. She couldn't describe the feeling. It was almost like something that had wanted to be set free for a long time finally was able to be let go. The smoke cleared and she was in her shinigami form. Hoshi wore the standard shinigami uniform except that the sleeves went past her hands by a few inches. Her Zanpakto was across her back in it's sealed state. She stood there for a little bit to adjust to the changes that had happened .

Ichigo looked at Hoshi for a few seconds, taking in the fact that she was now a Shinigami just like himself. "How do you feel?" He asked, knowing that he felt invincible the first time he used Rukia's power the way that he did to slay the hollow that threatened his sisters. Shaking his head to get rid of the thoughts from the past, he noticed Yoruichi coming into the training area. "Yoruichi?" He asked, wondering what she was doing down here, unless it was already starting to get dark...

"Yoruichi-sama, what are you doing here?" Rukia asked, extremely curious as to why the shape shifter was in the area.

" I feel different somehow . I feel stronger." Hoshi said. She saw Yoruichi come toward them.

As she came towards then she smiled . She did have a feeling Hoshi would want to help. "" Just wanted to see how Tatsuki's training went today. Also I want to ask if you would like help in training Hoshi. She's going to need to know how to defend herself now that she's a shinigami.Also I have news from the Soul Society. The hollows that have been appearing here have started to cause some trouble there. Things are under control for now, but something needs to be done about them soon. "

"That's the same way I thought of at first Star-chan, then again that sounds about right." Ichigo said as he then turned to Yoruichi and replied to her, "That might actually be a good idea. I'm probably not the best person to teach," Ichigo said as he scratched the back of his head in embarrassment. He knew that he was more of a warrior than a teacher, causing the females to laugh at his awkwardness.

" Then it's settled. We can start the training tomorrow morning . We'll first have to determine her fighting style . We can work from there . Try to get plenty of rest tonight . See you all then."


Hoshi had returned to her human for by now . She was nervous but felt she had a newfound confidence that she didnt have before . She felt she was ready for anything. She would have to be if she was going to help her friends.

"Tomorrow sounds like a good idea actually, thanks," he said, noticing how tired both new shinigami were. He knew that if they went any longer they would most likely faint. However, if he said that, he knew that Tatsuki would venomously deny it, claiming that she could still go for a little longer. He then returned to his body before looking at his friends.

"What do you say girls? Ready to call it a day?" He asked, chuckling lightly when he saw Tatsuki shake her head in the negative. "You may want to return to your body soon Ryu-chan, it would be bad for you to collapse," Ichigo said with a small smirk.

Shaking her head quickly in the negative, she then glared at what he suggested. He was right though, even if she would never admit it...she was starting to feel a little drained from using so much spirit energy at once, especially since she was still new at all of this. Noticing the smirk on his face, she growled before stomping to her body and merging back with it, the scowl still on her face and the smirk still on his. "You know, I could kick your," at this point she yawned lightly before continuing, "ass if I wanted to Straw-chan," she said with a small grin, daring him to comment on it.

"Yeah yeah, sure. You can kick my ass while halfway passed out, of course you can Ryu-chan, he said, crossing his arms in front of his chest. "Anyways, I think we should head home," He said, thinking of ideas of how to deal with the hollows. They would have to unlock their shikai...he just had that feeling that if they didn't before the hollows got out of hand, then they would have a hard time dealing with the more powerful hollows. He decided to keep his thoughts to himself before he climbed the ladder, having several things on his mind.

Hoshi shook her head yes. She had returned to her body.She was ready to rest and prepare for tomorrow.She was exhausted. Hoshi hoped she could make it up the ladder. She had a lot on her mind after what had happened today. How was she going to face her dad when he came home? He had hidden so much from her. Also her becoming a Shinigami also was on her mind. She was ready to face these challenges. She made her way up , knowing things were going to be much different.

Ichigo looked around one last time, going back in memory lane for a few seconds before shaking his head lightly and turned, surprised to see Yoruichi standing next to him. "This brings back memories...," Ichigo said softly as he saw the shape shifter nod lightly. "Thanks...for everything over the years, and for willing to help train my friends." He said softly.

"Come on Strawberry-chan, we're waiting!" Tatsuki shouted from the top of the room. She unfortunately didn't see the small smirk appear on his face.

"I'm coming, I'm coming. Jeez Dragon, keep your panties on," he shouted back, causing Tatsuki to blush an extreme red color. Sadly, he didn't see it, but he didn't have to. He knew that was going to happen. He laughed lightly to himself before he started climbing the ladder.
