Hoshi followed after Ichigo and Tasuki. Rukia was already up there. As they walked home , Hoshi noticed something was bothering Ichigo." You alright Straw-chan?" She said softly. She hoped he was okay. He had the same thing that happened to her today. She knew he didn't show his emotions much but this seemed to really be bothering him.

"It's nothing...I'm just wondering why dad decided not to say anything about being a shinigami," Ichigo said before being whacked in the back of his head by both Rukia and Tatsuki. They knew that if he continued with that train of thought, he'd be mopey and emo for the rest of the day tomorrow and they didn't want that, especially when they had to deal with Tetsu.

"I'm wondering the same thing about my dad. I hope he tells me why . But I hope he does it when he's ready to talk about it." Hoshi didn't want him to be upset. She had to concentrate on her training tomorrow. The thoughts she had about her dad would have to wait. It wasn't easy not to think about him.

"At least your father isn't like mine," Ichigo muttered lightly as their group headed back to his house. Before they could part ways, Ichigo and Rukia heard a long and low note moaning through the night. "Of course they couldn't leave us alone." Ichigo said, looking at the three females. "Rukia..."

"Don't worry, I got it. Take them to your house for the time being," Rukia said, knowing that they weren't ready to fight against a Hollow just yet. When Tatsuki mentioned that she could still fight, Rukia reminded her that a tired fighter was a sloppy fighter. Before Tatsuki could say anything else, Rukia used shunpo and vanished.

They ran towards Ichigo's as fast as they could go. Hoshi had wanted to fight too but did as she was told . She was terrified because of what was happening . Hoshi hoped Rukia would be alright.As they ran a hollow had appeared in front of the three.

Tetsu was worried about Hoshi. He had a feeling something was wrong, not knowing that she had become a Shinigami. He would have to wait till tomorrow to find out.

Ichigo led the two girls back to his house. He knew that Rukia could take care of herself, and if she needed help, she would send a pulse of Reiatsu.

Rukia was surprised to see the Hollow being as big as it was. This is just a regular Hollow? she asked herself before she jumped to the side, dodging the Hollow's foot from stepping on her. She dodged another attack before she noticing that the Hollow was starting to shrink into a normal sized Hollow. what's going on? she thought to herself before deciding not to take any more chances. "Dance, Sode no Shirayuki" she said as she twirled the blade, activating it's shikai.

The temperature around the Hollow started getting colder, and before long, there were small ice crystals starting to form within the area. Before long, the Hollow was encased within a layer of ice. However, before she could destroy the mask, the Hollow grew back to its original giant-like size. "Alright, now you're starting to annoy me," Rukia growled out before activating her first dance, completely freezing the area where the Hollow was standing.

They arrived at Ichigo's without encountering any more hollows. It seemed that things were escalating fast. What was with the hollow Rukia was fighting? Were these different than the ones before?

Rukia stared at the broken ice sculpture for a few seconds before using shunpo to leave the area. If she stayed a little longer, she would have felt the immense spiritual pressure that belonged to Aizen. She then appeared in the tree that was near the Kurosaki's clinic. She saw her body talking to Ichigo and the girls. Looks like that soul pill actually worked, good. She then noticed that Ichigo left the window open for her and headed through it.

"Welcome back Rukia," Ichigo said, ignoring the girl talk coming from Tatsuki, Hoshi and the soul pill that took over Rukia's body. He was glad that his partner came back, but he was curious as to why she had to use her shikai on a normal Hollow.

Plans can be changed. Aizen knew that Hoshi was now a Shinigami. This make it easier to capture her before her father can talk to her . He knew Tetsu was away. His former subordinate was foolish to leave her by herself. Even if her friends around they wouldn't be able to fight off the stronger hollows.

Hoshi enjoyed the girl talk . It was good to forget about a few things even if it was only for a few hours. She was grateful to have friends that were willing to help her and supported her decision to be a Shinigami.

Ichigo grinned as he saw the smile on Hoshi's face, but wondered what exactly was going on. He thought he sensed Aizen's foul reiatsu, but wasn't one hundred percent sure that it was him or not. There was also the fact that Rukia seemed to have more trouble than usual with a simple Hollow...Just what's going on here...Ichigo thought to himself.

Hoshi felt an evil presence near by. It was familiar to the feeling she had in the dream last night. She did her best to ignore it.
"Who's watching us? I don't like this feeling at all. "Hoshi was getting a head ache. She wasn't sure what would be causing it. It wasn't a hollow as far as she knew.

Rukia noticed Hoshi started to hold her head in pain, and noticed that her senses were also going haywire. Aizen...she thought to herself in light fear, but hid it to the best of her ability. She and Hoshi knew he was there, and so did Ichigo. If anything, she knew that Aizen would defeat them both, quite badly...especially if they had to protect Tatsuki and Hoshi. She just hoped that foolish man Ichigo called a father was enough to keep Aizen away from them for just a little longer.

Ichigo sighed as he got up. He noticed the tension in the room and had a theory as to why it was happening, but he also knew that he was a risk when it came to fighting, and until he could control his hollow powers, he wouldn't risk hurting anyone nor going to bankai. "I'll be right back. I might as well see if my old man is busy or not," he said before heading downstairs. He knew he wasn't going to like this conversation.

Aizen left as soon as he had arrived. He had wanted the group to know he was watching and waiting for the right moment.He had the feeling Isshin Kurosaki had gained much strength in such a short time due to Tetsu. He knew if Isshin had regained his streghth he would be no match for him. At least not yet.



Hoshi's head still hurt even after the feeling had past. What had caused it? Did it have something to do with being a Shinigami? What ever had caused her head to ache was gone for now. She had a feeling that whom ever it was would be back. " Why does my head hurt ? What's out there?" She said. She was feeling dizzy and passed out as soon as she had said this.

Tetsu now knew Hoshi was in danger. He had to act fast before Aizen did. Tetsu didn't know his daughter was a Shinigami yet. He had to fight Aizen alone. He wasn't going to let Ichigo help him either. It was his fight and his alone.

Rukia didn't know what was wrong with Hoshi...just sensing Aizen's foul reiatsu shouldn't be effecting the girl so much, even if she inherited both of her parent's powers...and she didn't know how to help. Even though she was strongly advanced when it came to all types kido, she didn't know if any of her healing kido would work or not...of course this all flew out of her head as Hoshi passed out. "Hoshi!" Rukia shouted in alarm.

As Hoshi passed out, Tatsuki moved quickly in order to catch the girl and so that her head wouldn't hit the floor ((Linkin Park ftw, sorry)) and that she would be somewhat comfortable whenever she woke up. "Rukia..." Tatsuki started to ask, but the question died in her throat as she saw the senior shinigami shake her head in the negative.

"I don't know what happened...I'm sorry," she said, bowing lightly to apologize. Tatsuki quickly motioned that it wasn't her fault and that she couldn't do anything about it. However, she still couldn't help the elder shinigami from her light depression.

Ichigo was about to look for his old man before he felt the panicked expression in both Tatsuki and Rukia. Scowling lightly at the fact that he'd have to wait until morning, he made a mental note to talk to his father in the morning before heading back upstairs. He just hoped everything would be alright.

Hoshi had no idea why she passed out. She woke up 30 minutes later seeing the worried expressions on her friend's faces. " I'm sorry . I don't know why I passed out like that. " This worried her. Why did she pass out? At first it felt like she was dreaming while awake but then everything had gone black. Were her seer abilities changing? She hoped not. It was bad enough dreaming the visions. " I think I'm okay now. " She hoped she was.

"Are you sure Star-chan?" Ichigo asked, not completely sure as to what exactly happened.

" I think so." She said slowly sitting up. "I was tired before my head started hurting. It could just be that . It's happened once before. Last year I was at the cemetery near my old home and my head hurt close to that . But not as bad. I was trying then to sence ghosts better there. It probably wasn't very smart of me to do that then. I'll be okay guys." She gave a small smile . She didnt mention the part about the Shinigami. Then she didn't know what a Shinigami looked like . Could the man she saw then the one who wanted her now? She wondered if she should tell them ."I think I know now why I think I've seen Aizen"Hoshi paused for a little then said. " I use to take food to the caretaker who lived at the cemetery. On the way there , I met a man on the road. He said that Mr. Fuji had died. He looked the same age as my dad did and and had brown hair and glasses. My head hurt bad then and I ran home as fast as I could."

"As long as you're sure," Tatsuki said, not entirely believing that Hoshi was completely fine. Not knowing who Aizen was, Tatsuki only looked to Ichigo and Rukia while helping Hoshi as best as she could.

Ichigo and Rukia knew there was more to Hoshi's story then she was telling them, but neither Ichigo nor Rukia were going to pry. If she wanted to tell them, she would. Ichigo, however, did growl when he heard the description for Aizen while Hoshi was at the graveyard last year. That's not good...what does Aizen want with Hoshi? he asked himself as he sighed softly. "Well, seeing as we have a lot of things to do tomorrow, me included, how about we all get some sleep?" He asked before seeing Tatsuki giving him a look.

"I wasn't suggesting you sleep here in my room...jeez Ryu-chan," he said, causing Tatsuki to blush in embarrassment.

"Pervert, I wasn't going to suggest that!" she shouted, heat quickly rising to her cheeks as she blushed in embarrassment at his suggestion. "I was going to ask where we all were going to sleep," she growled, mentally making a note to either embarrass him or beat him black and blue for his perverted comment.

"Sleep does sound like a good idea though..." Rukia murmured lightly. She, too, was thinking as to why exactly Aizen wanted Hoshi...both of her powers could help fuel his desires to become a god of all realms. Is that what Aizen really wants her for...or is it something else? she thought to herself.

Hoshi giggled a little bit. " Sleep does sound good. " She said. She had to do this." I wonder if that man was Aizen? And if he was the one who killed Mr. Fuji." Her neighbor's death was ruled a homicide but it still was unsolved. " I think we're in Yuzu and Karin's room tonight Ryu- chan." She said giving a small smile. Hoshi had the feeling that Tatsuki didn't believe she was alright. Hoshi was, but most of it was on the emotional level. With learning about her parents and becoming a Shinigami herself, Hoshi knew she wasn't the same person as she was yesterday.

Hoshi had slept well that night. She didn't dream as far as she knew. She liked those nights where she didn't see anything . It bothered her that she had passed out last night. Morning would come soon enough.

Ichigo woke up earlier than expected thanks to his mod soul. Kon could sleep through anything...unfortunately, he snored. Usually that didn't bother the young man, but Kon's snoring was so loud that at first he thought it was a Hollow trying to attack him as he woke up. Luckily when he grabbed the mod soul, the loud noise stopped.

"Ugh..." the young man stated as he rubbed his eyes and groaned lightly. He hated mornings, and he knew that his father was a morning person, as long as he had a cup of coffee first. Ichigo got up quietly and made sure not to wake the girls up as he headed downstairs to where he saw his father in his usual happy mood.

"How the hells are you so chipper this early in the morning?" Ichigo asked as he took a seat in the kitchen. "Anyways, I have a question for you dad...when were you going to tell me you were a Shinigami?"

Isshin's happy mood had changed to a solemn one after Ichigo had asked him the question. He knew this day would come. He wanted to tell him for years. " I was going to tell you soon. " Isshin said with a grim look on his face " I'm sorry I never told you myself. I lost my powers 35 years ago. " He wouldn't go into how he lost them unless Ichigo asked him to .

"What do you mean?" Ichigo asked in a normal yet curious tone, not angry with his old man at all. He understood that people had their secrets, just none as big as this one was. He knew that Shinigami could lose their powers, but he thought that was only a temporary thing, or unless you had a gigai that was forcefully leeching off your reiatsu like it was with Rukia. He stared at his father, waiting for an answer.

"Those hollows that have been appearing. They have appeared here before. 35 years ago I was sent here to investigate why humans were being killed in large numbers by hollows. The humans being killed were Seers. I engaged in a fight with one of the hollows while protecting a family of seers . The acid they spit out drains a Shinigami of their powers. After I got hit with the acid I was too weak to return back to the Soul Society . With some help, I started a new life as a human . Over the last few years I've slowly been regaining my spiritual pressure back. With some help of course. " Isshin didn't mention it was Tetsu who was helping him or that he once was captain of Squad 10. He didn't know how his son would react to that news.
