Way I look at the issue about people quitting their jobs over it may be seen as me being Immoral or mean spirited buuut.. Ha Suckers You gave me more chances for a job now. :3 Let the smart work and those with no common sense weep. I mean why quit your job over something that is not certain? That is like saying well I had an interview at X so I quit to only find out someone had a better interview at X so they got the job and not you.
I do think that's mean-spirited... >.> I'm looking desperately for a job too, and I know the market is bad.
But I'll never feel anything but sorry for those people, because you know they were the truly desperate. They must have had a very, very strong longing to have something to believe in indeed. That need for faith itself isn't bad... the false prophet they followed is.
Your calling them Sheeple just about made me start singing the Song from Dr. Horrible when he trapped Captain Hammer. XD I do feel sorry for them that they are now jobless but even then to quit a job over faith seems a bit odd to me. I do agree the prophet is the one who is bad and I feel he should be imprisoned for what his actions caused but I digress.
There's been a shitload of tornadoes in the U.S. A big storm last night and tonight. My uncle and cousin were in the hospital last night. And tonight, my grandfather is also, for a serious heart condition...and dying.
Maybe it is just the End of the Beginning? Ever think of that :) Seriously though the areas that are having the tornadoes are known to have alot of tornadoes. It is not more then normal just that they happen to have hit places that have structures more this year. As for your family issues I do feel for you but they may get better and as for your grandfather ya never know. My Godmother was in the hospital a few weeks back for what they said was a fatal heart condition but she is out now and living life as if it never happened.
I kinda think that its funny they have a specific date for the end of the world. :P i mean what about different time zones? so do some parts of the world get destroyed b4 others?
I believe the world will end and Jesus will come again but i think people need to stop guessing when it is and worrying over it, it doesn't do any good for people to stress.

Okay, I know this is overplayed, we're all sick of apocalypse predictions, and the world NOW ends on October 21st (but we're being judged now, and Jesus is watching you, you dirty birds!), but I listened to Camping's announcement about the "change of date". Two things:
One, Listen to his speech. Or at least, if you can't stomach the rest, the last ten seconds. The feminist in me flared up a little.

Two, you know that AT&T commercial with the flash mob?
Can't you just imagine your phone going off?
"Rapture moved to Oct. 21." Don't be the last to know. Get it faster with 4G. It's the network of possibilities, AT+T.
haha well I passed judgement day and I think this calls for t-shirts like "I survived Rapture 2011". The only thing rapture did was blow up my newsfeed on facebook.
