Hello! Have you noticed that you're on...
Oh, surprise, surprise! Too late to turn back now.
How many times have you seen the 13th floor in a building? Chances are less. As number 13 is supposed to bring bad luck, most buildings, even those not owned by superstitious people, use 14 to denote the 13th storey or use 12a as the alternative.
However, this is not the case with this hotel. Located in the lesser-seen areas of a local tourist trap, lies a hotel. This hotel is not your average hotel, though. There are very horrifying rumours about this hotel. This hotel's 13th floor. Many people just wander onto this floor without knowing anything. There have been many deaths on this hotel's 13th floor. There might even be a killer just waiting for someone to wander in. And you, my lovely, are now trapped.

Personality? I'd have to say I'm pretty wickedly funny. Hmm...I guess my personality's pretty much all over the place. I can adapt, and I am pretty optimistic most of the time. My temper does tend to get a bit out of control, though. I do tend to change my mind a lot...and follow...although I want really badly to lead.

Hello! I am Taemae! I was born into the world as a secret child of a Korean pop-star and a Korean actress. My parents were very busy at the time, so they decided to raise me in secrecy. All alone except for my tutor, I was often very tempted to go out and play with other children in my neighborhood. However, my parents were very strict about this, because the public never knew about their ongoing affair. I never knew what to do around other children, because I wasn't around them a lot.
How I got into this hotel isn't such a big mystery. On my way to debut as a KPop star, I decided to crash at this hotel. But I didn't realize that this hotel had a 13th floor. Oh, so complicated. Since I'm a gullible fool, I immediately began to believe the rumours. Then I just brushed it off, since, well...the locals said it was so untrue. I am staying at the hotel's thirteenth floor until it is time for me to go to South Korea.

I. Hate. Bugs. Ever since I was little, I've always hated bugs. I'm also not too fond of hights. On the ground, I'm a mean dancing machine, but up high, I turn into a whimpering little scaredy cat. And don't even get me started about those scary ventriloquist things.

I'm not so sure if this is a strength...but...I can sing...and dance...really well? I'm also trained in tons of martial arts, and my optimistic-ness is pretty much a weapon in it's own way.

I'm the most loud, enthusiastic, outgoing person you will EVER meet. I'm always cracking jokes, and always looking at the brighter things in bad situation. Sometimes my jokes come out a bit rude, but all I'm usually trying to do is make people feel better.

Well, my life isn't to incredibly interesting, but if you insist on hearing it, let me start by telling you that my older sister died about a year ago. She was my rolemodel, and my best friend. She drowned in some deep waters, and no one was there to save her. After her death, believe it or not, I went into a state of depression for a few months. Then I realized that she would've wanted me to live my life. That's when I became the little jokester I am today!
To be honest, I'm not sure how I got to this hotel. I think my parents said something about bad grades, and how they wanted me out of the house. I don't know, I never really listen to my parents. Well, anyways, I'm hear now, living on the thirteenth floor. Ohh, spooky, right?

First, I have a MAJOR fear of water after what happened to my sister. As stupid as this sounds, I'm also afraid of the dark. Let's just say I've heard one to many ghost stories. Lastly, I'm terrified of bees. I heard those things hurt...

I, for one am probably one of the smartest people of my age. I am called cocky at times, but it seems to have worked out well for me so far. I have been number one for most of my life. Although I do believe if you want something bad enough, you will work for it. Simple enough. At the same time I enjoy out witting people. Thinking outside of the box for a solution, and even being overly blunt sometimes. One reason why I am not a very good teacher. Most of the time I am a very calm person. The most I will do is intellectually insult a person. Which most of the time will make me seem like a huge ass. But their loss.

Where to start.. I was born to two regular middle class people. My mother and father, who else? My father had a regular business nine-five job, while my mother worked part time at a store to keep herself busy. Growing up a rather normal kid. It wasn't until I began going to school where the child prodigy crap started. Things just simply clicked for me, and I excelled. I skipped grades 2, 4, 6, and 8. Every other year because I was skipping of coarse. Duh.
So, I was eleven going into high school. It was a private school of coarse. Since they wanted me for my brain to being their scores up. You might be thinking, should an eleven-year old be going to high school? Well so did the PTA until I passed the entrance exam to the school without getting a single question wrong. Needless to say I graduated at 15 at the top of my class. Silly fact, my voice cracked while I was giving my speech at graduation. I moved to Boston to attend Harvard Medical, gaining my undergraduate just last year. Just another few more years now.
I stopped by this hotel since the city is holding a convention I will be attending. This hotel is simply the cheapest. Even though I am brilliant, I am not rich. This cozy little place seemed fair. The rumors about the thirteenth floor are nothing but old wives tales. Well, it mainly was because of the death tolls raising back in the day after they got to building the 13th floor. Nothing more than that.

I am very clasterphobic. Simple as that. I hate tight spaces, they do not freak me out right away, but after minutes my breathing will probably increase before I simply freak out. You know the old moves where the walls would close in with spikes? Yeah, that. Do no enjoy the thought of it! Also girls crying. Not really a weakness, but I do hate seeing it. My third is girls in general. Bad right? I am your common geek though.

I am a very quick thinker. Anything I have learn threw out my life I can use it today. From basic math, to lessons from history and what not to repeat. But for other talents.. What I am? Wow good question. When you find out tell me, k? To tell the truth, after my boyfriend committed suicide it felt like i was nothing, nameless. Before his death i was still quiet, but fierce. I have a severe saving/protection complex that was worsened after my bf's death. I like poetry, and I'm obsessed with hotels. I have no idea why. My personality you ask. I don't see that it is any of your concern but if you want to know I see no reason not to say. By nature I am rather reclusive. I prefer my own company rather than the company of others but there are times when I can be...persuaded to be social. It does take a while for me to become comfortable in a social group but it does happen, occasionally.

I have been in this building, on this specific floor, for the last five years of my life after I obtained my second doctorate. I was a brilliant student at one of the country's top universities and I had my first doctorate by the time I turned sixteen but after I received my second I saw no challenge. I have been here, in this building, on this floor, ever since. I am comfortable here and I like it and see no reason to atempt to change it.

- I am not comfortable at all in large social groups or social settings. They make me feel...uncomfortable although I have often been told I have no reason to feel that way. What do they know?
- I have a fear of being underground, being trapped under all that earth and rubble and metal.
- Being discovered is one thing that I cannot stand the thought of. The thought of being found or my own personal sanctuary being disturbed.

Personally I think I'm a lovely person! I'm kind and generous and usually quite happy! I mean, I have everything I've ever wanted so theres no need to be sad really. I can be quite harsh sometimes, and tend not to think about what I'm saying before I say it. I speak my mind and rarely think about the consequences. I was born into a family that had no real want for a baby. My mother and father are both work obsessed and the rest of my family just as much. A lonely childhood; I was raised by various different nanny's and only ever saw my mother and father once a week at most. They tried their hardest to give me everything I desired but nothing could fill the need for some kind of affection. I started school and grew older. Achieving good grades in every subject was a way of impressing my family, but I am quite clever.
On my seventeenth birthday, my mother and father presented me with a key. The key was for the apartment that I live in now. Receiving an early trust fund, and with my father's wealth backing my every step, I moved from the family mansion and into a small apartment on the thirteenth floor. I've been looking after myself ever since. Though, I'd hardly call it that. I get given everything I want and need to live more than comfortably. The only set back is now I don't see my mother and father at all.

I rarely think about the words coming out of my mouth, which tends to hurt and offend the weaker, more shy people I speak to. Having spent most of my life alone, I do get a little shy around larger groups. I might seem happy most of the time, but I find it incredibly hard to make friends or relate to anybody. Most of the time I have to force myself to talk to people I don't know.

I'm very 'worldly aware', which means that I'm quite wise when it comes to life. I'm a caring person, and always try to make everyone else feel better before I can even think about dealing with my own problems, and I'm quite the artist. I love drawing and painting, but that isn't the art that I mean. I'm a photography fanatic.
