Working at the deli is a hell of a lot like working fast food. ;\
This lady today got all sorts of upset with me because I didn't know what a "shanghai dinner" was.
It was the first time I'd ever even heard of it. So, when I told her I'd have to get some help with that one because I've not done one yet she starts saying "Just get four of those little boxes there and fill two with blahblah. I'll tell you how to do it." Bitch, fuck the hell off.
haha yeah it's pretty nice and it's mostly company police cuz i swear to you the food is very much normal fast food. And I had the policy towards customers. A customer could call you a bitch to your face and you had to be nice to them. They are CRAZY about customer service.
Woody - Hahaha, I'd just tell you "We don't serve your kind here." and be a brat back. But seriously, some people are just awful. I also had a lot of really stupid questions. "What kind of breads do you have?" IT'S ON THE BOARD RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE. Or the people who were like "um...well...I don't know."
I can be rude to people sometimes, when I'm having a bad day. xD But if someone is polite and helpful when I'm having a bad day I'd be able to feign niceness. For a minute. xD
Yaah. This woman tonight was being a horrid biatch, and I was politely vague about helping her, so she went to the other guy there and was like WHO IS YOUR MANAGER?! And he said that we were both managers, so she got one of the other managers names, and will now probably put up a big stink just because I didn't lick her feet and tell her she was the golden heifer goddess or some such bull.
Haha. I hated Chickfila cuz I couldn't be rude. I had to smile and be nice even if they were being mean. there was no 'forgetting to fake nice' you'd get in trouble for it. and if they ever asked me for a manager I'd go get one of two managers if I could. Both of whom were young and didn't look like managers except for the outfit. It was about the only stick it to them I could do.
Strella- CFA is understanding only once the customer has walked away. You still can't be mean to the customer. and the policy of the customer is always right really applies at CFA. I've seriously seen company policy broken once or twice to accommodate a customer.
I'm actually a relatively nice person in general and happy. But if you piss me of or I think you're an idiot it shows on my face and I really can't help it.
