Oh, that reminds me, I need to see Game of Thrones. I never liked Nip/Tuck, the whole business of cutting people to make them look younger, but actually making them look like... a taxidermy fail, or a fail at Madam Tussaud's True Blood has me intrigued.

I have one of those friends. Unfortunately we don't really have the same taste in movies and T.V. shows. I got over years ago what she's still obsessing over.

Whoa, that sounds like a lot more work than my lot even if the time is shorter! :O I work at a cram school that focuses on math, English, and daycare. I work for the English part as a Remedial/review teacher, or 'Asian teacher'. The actual teaching is all done by foreigners (because that's what the parents like to see because they think people with paler hair and pale skin speak better English) unless the kid missed out on a couple of classes and we have to give them remedial classes to make it up for them.

Cram schools usually work from morning to night, just with different batches of kids...sometimes, like today, they make their workers do over time with no pay by asking *coughdemandingcough* they go to work an hour and a half early to visit some schools to try and get more new students by passing out flyers and stuff. Next week, from Monday to Tuesday, there'll probably be two days where I'd have to get up at seven to do the same thing at some other schools. (my usual work time is from 11:30am to 9:30pm, though usually I never was able to leave for home any earlier than after 9:55pm...) I hate overtime! I hate it even more that I don't get paid for it! :cry:

nah they didn't die... the main character, Jax, would be the role of Hamlet... his father was the president of the motorcycle club (the king) until he died and then his best friend, Clay, took over that seat and married Jax's mom, Gemma... so there is that whole thing... but no one else really dies... and the series has been going on for 4 seasons... the 4th starting next month

yea it is a lot of work! but sometimes i get lucky and i get really good kids and we have lots of fun!!
your job sounds really demanding :O and those are such long hours for that kind of job... i don't know how you do it! but i also think that with a job like that you're kept sharp as a tack in your english skills :P and too bad about not getting paid for the overtime!!!
