I tend to get more hours because the people I work with suck so I get called in on my days off.

I always take hours when they're given to me. I called out ONCE in my entire life.

We have a type of gecko here that can be always found on walls and near bugs. Mine died today... Oh, sob!

Vix - One lady nearly lost her job because she kept calling in sick when she was actually just hungover. She told me she had to talk to the store manager, assistant manager and deli manager. If she doesn't get help and start shaping up she'll probably lose her job. I'm surprised they keep most of these people on, actually. One lady's just been leaving hours before her shift ends. And the guy that works there is just freaking useless. Ugh.

I wouldn't either but I guess one lady's been there for four years - the one that's been leaving early. the other's been there for a year. It's not an easy job to find good workers for, either. I think they got lucky when they hired me because I'm a quick learner and I've caught on fast so I haven't had to be baby-sat much.

The lady that leaves early is really lazy anyway. Like disgustingly so. :\
The other day when I came onto my shift at 5 - which is basically just a closing shift - she's like "oh, good, you're here. we've been slow so I'm just going to go home now." I expected there would be a bunch of stuff done if they've been slow but nothing was done and every time I tried to help a costumer I had to do a bunch of restocking and shit.

She also left an hour earlier than she was supposed to. Which I don't get 'cause she was bitching about being broke. Wouldn't you want to stay on as long as possible if you're broke?
