Fox smiled as caught sight of his dear old friend. He wrapped his arms around him as he hugged him and smiled behind his mask. "Hello dear brother it has been to long indeed. You have heard the news of the kingdom. I have heard you are to be married soon is that correct. Ah it was only yesterday we where fighting for the right to serve the master. You have turned out well brother. When will I meet my new sister? I hope you have got the things I have sent for you and the others. I see my reputation still brings many fear. Some things will never change here will they?" He said as he watched many run from him while still many came to greet him.

"I have missed you something terrible brother. I have missed Rin as well and our home here. I see that the name you gave me has stayed as Anubis the warrior of death. I could kill you for giving me that name it got me into so many battles and in so much trouble. You have always been good at that." He said as he chuckled happy to see his dear brother and friend again. He turned his attention to the crowed that parted as he caught sight of Rin. He dropped to his knee as he bowed deeply.

Nitun nodded and smiled, "we know the news and yes, I will be married soon. Infact I was going to send word to you to come. You will love her, she stole my heart and I am happy to be with her." he said as he looked at him. He then laughed and nodded, "your right about that, nothing does change. Some still think that your a story but once they see you they will believe the storys." he said as he lead his brother back to the village. Some smiled when they saw Fox while others looked with fear and other astonishment. "Master Rin has missed you too. SO he will be happy to see you back and I am glad your name has gotten around. It strikes fear now and that is what a name should do." Nitun said as he looked at him. Once they saw Master Rin they all stepped back and watched.

Rin smiled as he saw Fox and came forwardm, hugging him. "it is good to see you. I was begining to wonder if you would ever come home." he said as he pulled away and smiled at him. "tell me what have you been doing and why have you come back?" he asked and then looked at Anastasia. Anastasia stayed in the shadows and just looked at Fox. She had to wonder why that out of all the villages she went to she went to the one that actually thought of him and knew him. She sighed and wondered if she coudl get away so that she didn't have to deal with him. yet when she saw RIns eyes she knew that she had to stay.

Fox gave a bow as he hugged Rin back. He waited till the man was done and pulled out a beautiful amulet that glowed underneath the beautiful cloth it was wrapped in. He held it out to the man that to him was his father not even the king that he called father could compare to Rin and his family here. "I brought it back to you for Amie. It was stolen from her temple and from you. It belongs back here with people who will protect and use it for good. Without it there will be no water here. I am sorry for my absence the king had other matters that he wished for me to attend to. Little princesses is safe and well. I do not know what became of Aime and our sisters once they entered the kingdom as the princesses slaves and concubines. I can only pray that they do not die for the princesses down fall. It will be blamed on them since the princesses can not be found. I know my brothers will give each a far trail. Though will the evil men left wait for such a thing. I am afraid without the princesses there is no hope for here people or any. " He said as he hated to think what could happen to Amie or any of the other girls that had hide themselves as slaves. He hated to think what would happen to his brother and to his father the king if some of the other men there rose up to start a new government worse than the one the king and queen had.

He bowed again as he closed his eyes glad to have his mask. He felt a pair of eyes and knew who it was. "Ana" He whispered as he open his eyes and looked up turning as his eyes landed on the girl. "She is new. Who is this one. We have had no new sisters in years. Nitun you never told me you had a sister. She has the same deathly eyes you do when you look at me wishing to kill me." He said as he stared at her. "I am sorry Master for not coming back sooner I have missed you and my brothers very much."

Rin nodded as he listned to Fox and sighed as he took the amulet, "what is done is done, nothing can be changed once it is set forward. This has all been a course of events sent in motion by the king that is now gone. He set forth all of this when he tried to take what wasn't his in the first place. Now that we have out amulet we can rebuild." he said and then looked at fox and shook his head. "the princess you speak of did this because she has to. If she is missing then there is hope for a new generation, one that has a clean past and a wonderful future ahead of it." he said and then smirked when he saw Fox catch Anastasia. Rin then motioned for Anastasia to come and she did. She stood next to Rin and then looked at Fox. "She is a sister, a friend, and much more." he said and then looked at Anastasia. "she is Runa, a sister and friend from afar." he said and Runa nodded.

Runa was glad to actually feel like she was apart of something here. yet she knew she couldn't stay, she still had to travel. She had to travel to look for a safe place. Rin then looked at Fox, "I do not have to listen to Runa's past for it speaks for itself threw her eyes. She has seen much and done much to get where she is now. She does all of this for it is her job." he said as he turned to Runa. Runa smield at Rin and was glad she didn't have to say much to him and then looked at Fox, "I am Sister to no one but the earth." she said and Nitun nodded. "she is correct, she has no relation to anyone. INfact she came out of no where yet she is sister to all." he said and RIn nodded. "we have much to talk about later but for now relax and enjoy. Tonight we will speak more but we are all tired so rest." he said and RIn slowly started to make his way back to his home. Runa looked at Fox for a second but then started to head out of there. She didn't want to talk to him, like Rin said this was all set in motion from her father. She had to deal with the outcome of it all.

Fox waited till the others left he stood there as he smirked and shook his head. "May the fates be with you prissiness" He said as he turned left her there as he went hearing his name being shouted by a few of the others in the village. They where ready to start rebuilding and could use all the help they could get. He didn't expect a girl who knew nothing of the streets to stay and help these people. He expected her to leave as he greeted the others and removed his clothing. It was not her place here hers was in the palace where she belonged. There she could do good for people like these and be a hope for others. Maybe one day the fates would smile on her and show her that truth instead of her trying to play a roll she was never meant to play.The markings across his body had been given to him by the people he now helped. He helped as he could helping build the houses again. He spent most of the night along with the others building till it was only him there. He took a set as he looked up at the sky and said his prayer. He let out a breath as he picked up more stones placing them in their spots. He closed his eyes as he wondered what he was really doing here. He was not here only for the amulet. The princesses seemed to some how always find her way to where he was. He could tell that Rin knew who Ana was.

He wished he could talk to Rin and figure out what was his part in this play that the fates where starting. To much had come to pass for him now to every go back. He had promised his dear little sister that he would come back for her and how could he break the man's heart that had adopted him as his son and gave him the life of a prince and even the title. Though in his heart he was just a warrior and always would be. He was no good to anyone and would never be. What he loved would die at his touch to keep distance from them would be the best. The more he did that the more the ones he loved died and hide themselves from him. He took a set as he leaned against the wall he was building and rested his back against it closing his eyes wishing he could get a answer. The cool brick felt good against his back as he sat there. He stared at his shirt that laid beside him and smiled as he saw his sisters handy work at the bottom a small fox head stitched on to it at the bottom corner.

Runa sighed as she walked away from him and knew the fates never really smiled at her. They were always cruel to her and only ever liked to watch her have nothing. As she walked away she saw some kids playing and smiled as she watched them. They looked happy and she found herself slowly starting to play with them. She started to have fun for hte first time in a long time. As fox worked ashe played and soon she had just about every kid playing with her. Yet as it got dark they slowly started to go home. They waved to her as she smiled as she waved back and looked around. No one was left out side, well there was one and it was the one she didn't really want to talk to. Yet when she saw he looked tired and hot she decided she had to do something. So she grabbed some water and walked over to him. "here, I thought you might want this." she said as she looked at him.

She then looked at what he had been building and smiled, "you know this looks nice, you can do wonders when your not annoying people and actually working." she said and then started to walk away. "oh and dont think about trying to get me back to the palace. I cant go back, Rin understands why so why cant you?" she said as she looked back at him. Rin understood that her amulet couldnt' survive on the land that her palace was on. She had to find a new place for her people to call home, a place that could protect the amulet better.

Fox looked up as he saw Ana or Runa whatever lie she wanted to make up. He took the water as he stared at it then closed his eyes as he let out a heavy breath drinking the water. "Thank you.' He said as he sat there not moving or bothering to correct his appearance. " I am better with my hands.....unlike you I have no people skills or the ability to help millions of people. You are running from yourself like I once was and Rin did the same for me as he is for you. Maybe you want be so stupid. Just know your past will always find you. I am not taking you back it isn't my job. You are a adult you made that clear when you took lives you are not only that but a murder even if you kill for good blood still stains your hands. You are no better than a common thief. Ask the men here they will tell you. They do not kill because they like to they do because they have to but because they do they have lost much and always will. Once you go down the path of a killer you can never come back and it is one that I would not wish upon my worst enemy. You just be safe.' He said as he let out another breath and looked up at the wall. "This was once a house not that you could tell. That amulet I gave Rin. It belonged to his daughter Amie. She was my best friend and my sister. The land was not like this with her here. The amulet chose her and it chose her well. She had the purest heart and used the power of water that it gave and to heal and give life very will. This land was once full of life and beautiful plants. But one night it was all taken. Rin has not completely recovered. It pains him for any to mention her name or the amulet. Amie left and went for your palace that is one reason I had been in your kingdom for a while he asked me to try and find her. Not that anything matters now." He said as he slowly as he got up picking up his shirt. "It is late you should go see Nitun he will give you shelter for the night." He walked to the other side of the wall and began work again.

Ana sighed when she heard him and should of guessed he would lecture her. He acted like he knew everything and she sat down on the ground. "think what you like, think that I am doing this all to run from my past, think that I run because I want to. I dont want this, if I had a choice I would of lived in that palace, guided my people to life of greatness but i couldn't because of my father." she said and looked up at him. "you knew my father is evil yet you dont know how far his evil extends. He used me like my brother and sister. He made me use the power, he made me taint the ground from which the amulet got its power. It came to the point that the ground tainted my people and myself. Nothing with that land is holy. So I had to run, if I didn't he land would of corrupted me just like it did my father." she said as she looked at him. "I didn't wish to kill but it is all apart of what I have to do. Now I have to find a new home for my people. A place that will help protect the amulet and give it power so that it can use the power in return." she said as she looked at him. She then watched him go back to work, "I am sorry about her, but it is the prince we with the amulet have. We have to help others even though others try to kill us." she said and then got up. She then picked up a rock and started to help him. She did it without asking him if he needed it or showed signs that she was going to stop.

Fox lessen and said nothing as he worked. He noted her every word and movement not daring to say a word. He closed his eyes as he worked opening them when he reached the next level of the house that was starting to form. He had nothing to say since she was going to be stupid and heard headed not that he could say a word it just bothered him she was just like him. "You have the other amulet." He said out loud as he thought not realizing he had done so. He wondered what the amulet did he knew of the creation amulet that Amie had held and guarded what other amulet was there. There where more Amie had taught him about others. He was the only one she had ever dared to teach anything about the amulets to. He never understood why and why she had placed the strange markings upon him. It wasn't till some years later he understood he was to be a guardian of them and protect the ones that protected the amulets. She had taught him old magic to a extent and even how to summon the ancient beast of legend that slept with in the earth. He sung the song she had taught him as he worked speaking in the tongue of the ancients.

Anastasia continued to work even though he spoke. She simply pretended not to hear and worked at hte same pace as he did. After a few minutes she then said, "yes, I do, I have to have it since I have to protect it. The power it holds isn't something someone should weild." she said as she continued to work on the second story. She held the Earth Amulet. It was one of the less known ones but it was very powerfull. YOu coudl use it to do just about anything, make a wall around your kingdom, defeat a vast army but it came at a great cost to the protector. The protector was the only one who cuold use it and if they did it took away years of life. Her father had made her use it many times. She wasn't sure how long she had left but she did know she was going to use it to make a good life for a new kingdom. A kingdom that would be peacefull and hopefully without war. It was a wish that she had, one that she hoped to make come true even though she had a limited time on this earth now.

Closed his eyes as he worked. He open his eyes as he heard her as he wondered what she held. The truth was he was not sure what the family held. All he knew was it was important to many of the people of the land. "I am not a prince." He finally said as he finished another layer of bricks and started on the other wall more than half of the way done with the building at this point. "I had saved the kings life and he took me in to be his son. This was my home first. These people are my real people and my family. Do not get me wrong I am very thankful for the the kings kindness. I am not the arrgont jerk that many label me as due to the title as prince." He said as he turned and looked at her. "You may not even be safe here. There are many who will come after you now." He said as he feared for her. "You are like your brother and sister I loved them dearly. I was the slave boy that brought them things. Though I was no slave." He said as he grinned thinking of how much fun he had with the guards.

Anastasia continued to work and smirked when she heard him. "well that isn't much of a surprise." she said as she worked and kept up with him. She listened to him and nodded, "that was very nice of him to do that." she said as she worked and then sighed when she slid another stone into place. "I know I am not safe, I am not safe anywhere. So I am only staying here for a few days so that I can get supplies. Then I have to head out, I dont have much time to relax here." she said and relalized she didn't have much time at all. It scared her slightly to know this and part of her wanted to cry but she shoved the feelings aside. She had to be strong and get the amulet to safety. When she heard about her siblings she frowned and started to work harder so that she really did cry. "I miss them terribly but I will be joining them shortly." she said and didn't really realize she said she was going to die. She then smiled, " I am glad that you got to know them before they died. They were great people and I wish that things could of been different." she said softly as she continued to work. "They were the only people that could make me smile and laugh, but after they were gone pain took there place." she said and coudl still feel the scares all over her body.

Fox kept quite as he took note of what she had said. He was going to reply when he turned hearing Rin call for him. He smiled at his old friend and closer to a brother than the ones he had come to call the name. He was happy to receive the invitation to dinner from Rin and watched as Rin being the kind heart that he was extend it to Ana. He walked to the small well and drew up a bucket of water picking up one shreds of cloth and dipped it in the water lathering it up with soap as he cleaned himself then washed himself off. He let the bucket back down in the well then drew it again leaving it on the edge of the well for Ana to use.

Ana smiled when he heard Rin and nodded as she listened to him. When the invitation was streached to her she couldn't help but smile and accept. This meant a lot to her and she knew that she wouldnt' be able to do this much longer. So she might as well enjoy this while she could. When Fox left to go and get cleaned up she stayed and started to work again. She continued till she thought she should quiet and slowly headed off after Fox. When she saw the well and the water she couldnt' help but smile and quickly wash up. She then headed off to go find Rin and Fox.

Fox froze as he waited for Ana. He told Rin he would be right in and had forgot something at the work site. It was lie of course and he knew Rin would know better but he didn't feel Ana was safe even here. He kept his eyes on her as he saw her near wanting to kick himself for enjoying how beautiful she looked out of her palace clothes in the moon's light. He had never found any girl as attractive as he did her witch was strange to him. She was nothing like his dream woman or wife as most of the men would say around these parts. She was like a cobra beautiful and defiant even till the end. She would kill him in a instant if she could even though all he wanted to do was protect her. He moved from the shadows and stood where she could see him waiting on her before he entered the house where Rin was not head of and to meet his wife or soon to be wife. It had been some time Fox wasn't sure if his friend was married yet or if he had any kids. He knew he would be made fun of by Rin and his father that was how the pair was. He was old enough to be settled down by now and he knew he was going to hear about it soon enough.

Ana smiled as she continued to walk and thought about everything. She knew her life would end in a matter of months. It was sad to think about but that was all she had, a few months. Part of her wanted to cry and before she could stop herself a few tears ran down her cheeks. She let them fall but then saw Fox come out of the shadows. Quickly she wiped her tears away and knew she coudlnt' show weakness. She ahd to be strong, she was the symble of hope to her people and the amulate. She had to be strong even though inside she wanted to scream how unfair everything was. SHe then headed inside after rin and smield as she saw everyone. Bowing to them slightly she took her seat and settled down. It was nice to be with people that didn't want to hurt her, they were just people and she knew she would miss them when she left tomorrow.

Fox waited till Ana passed and followed suit behind her. He was hurt at the tears he saw her trying to whip away. She had said some things that made hims question what it was that she and her siblings had died trying to keep in good hands. What could be so important that it was worth a life. He had known her siblings and had fell in love with them though not even her sister could compare to Ana's beauty. It was a natural one that she had. He took his set as he noticed man of the men moving from his reach still afraid of him he saw. He noticed that the women however had no issues taking sets beside him and welcoming him. He looked to Rin as he knew the jokes where to come and wondered if the man was going to have him wed tonight to one of the ladies in the house.

Ana sighed as she sat there and just wanted to leave now that dispair had settled inside her. She didn't even take notice that some of the people stared at her. She knew that she wasn't really welcome here even if Rin accepted her. They were still warry of her and she knew they had every right to be. But it didn't matter to her, the only thing that mattered was keeping the amulet safe, find a new home and then die after find a place to hide it. Sitting up straighter she smiled at Rin and then wondered what was going to happen now. Looking at fox she wondered what was going threw his head. She hoped that he hadn't seen her crying, he didn't need to know the reason behind it.

Fox looked over at Ana as he gave her a smile as he got up and walked to where she was holding out his hand. He noticed that the music had started and it was time to dance. He was a little afraid of dancing with the girls there afraid of what they would do to him or try to. Besides Ana looked like she could use a friend more than anything right now. He rolled his eyes as he heard Rin joking with him about his crush on Ana.

Ana was surprised when he saw Fox walk over to her and hold out a hand. She looked at it for a little while and then slowly reached out, taking it. Smiling she got up to her feet and blushed slightly when she head Rin. yet it went away, she knew that no relationship would last with her. She was going to die soon anyways. But for now she would enjoy herself. Laughing she started to dance with him and looked like she was suppose to, a happy carefree girl and not hte hard warrior and protector of the amulet she was.

Fox laughed as he danced with Ana ignoring Rin and his fathers commits. It felt nice for once to be normal. Not to be putting his life on the line to get some priceless treasure or amulet. For once he was just a normal boy something he had always wanted but could never have. He knew it would be short lived his happy times where always.

Ana smiled and laughed the whole time while music played. Yet as it died down she knew that the joy she felt just now would be gone. Frowning she backed away from him, she couldn't get close to him. It would only hurt the both of them. She then gave him a slightly bow, "thanks for the dance." she said simply and then went back to sitting in her seat and started to think of what supplies she needed.

Fox gave a bow as he took his set again. He some how made it through the meal as he heard the other joke around and have a good time. He was playing with a piece of meet when he heard Rin and his father call on him to pick witch of the beautiful girls around him would he take as his wife. He was rather embarrassed but expected it from the pair. They where his father and brother and only wanted him happy. He blushed slightly as the Chif suggested Ana. He had never acted this way before and why was he now? It was new to him and he didn't like the need to follow the girl and protect her but he had to.

Ana was having sort of a good time as the day went on. Yet when she heard the chef call on Fox to pick a wife she was surrpised and just waited to see what kind of guy he went for. Though he didn't pick right away. Instead the chef suggested her and she found herself blushing. She never thought she would be married or anything. She was to die soon and that was it. Though she knew she couldn't back out of thise, she was apart of there tride and now customs. She then looked at fox and blushed deeper, it was odd. She hadted him for thinking she was stupid but he was strong and caring.

Fox stared at the old man as he as he saw the wisdom in the mans eyes. He saw what the mans intents where as he looked to Ana. He saw her beautiful blush and smiled more as he bowed his head to the Chif. There was nothing he could do about it the Cheif was the one who made the finally decision anyhow. It was now up to the chif.
