The cheif looked at he two and could tell there was something there. Nodding he smiled as he clapped his hands, "it is settled then, fox will marry Ana." he said and he could hear people cheer. An just sat there and wasn't sire what tk dk. She had thoght she would be dead and the thought of a husband never appealed ti her. So looking at him now she wasn't sure how she felt about marrying him. But she found herself bowing, this was there customs and she couod go against him.

Fox wasn't sure what he was doing. He just knew he couldn't say no to them. He had seen it happen many of times but he had never thought of having a wife. Who would want him for a husband. The one man on earth that can get any object on this plant with ease and known for being the thief amount thief's a real title some woman would want their husband known for.

The cheif smiked at the two and rose to his feet, "we have much preperstions to be dine if this is to be tonight." he ssid and others cheered as the stood. "you two relax and talk, we have to go." he said and soon they were the only ones left in here. Ana could hear them getting stiff ready and she then looked at fox. "you know I never thought I woukd be married to you, but I guess it is what they want" she said as she looked at him andgave him a soft smile. She jad a feeling that even though she never wanted a husband it would work out between them.

Fox looked over at Ana as he heard her. He gave her a warm smile as he laughed. "I had never thought I would be one for a wife. And not no one like you Ana. You are much to good for me. I am a extraordinary thief. I don't want you to have that title for a husband. But it doesn't appear it matter what we want. I know you deserve better than me Ana but I promise to protect you and do my best to please you." He said meaning it. He wouldn't lie there was something between them and he didn't mind the idea of being hers or being with her through the years.

Ana smirked when she heard him and shook her head, "trust me, you are much to good for me. You may be a theif but that is what makes you worthy in many peoples eyes since it shows that your smart and strong." she said and then frowned slightly when she heard those words, protect and please. Shaking her head she said softly, "there is nothing much to protect here except for the amulet and you cant really please me." she said softly and knew that if he was going to be with her till she died he would learn about her fate soon.

Fox felt his heart sink as he heard her. "That is rather wicked words for one to say. Every one can be pleased and projected. If you only want your amulet protected then fine. Though If you are to be my wife I will protect you. You seem to act as if you are going to die. If you think you are marring me and ding on me you are mistaken. I may only be a thief to you and some random jerk that you could careless about but apparently we don't get a choice in this. So you will be loved and protected. If you dare try and die on me you will find that it will be rather hard to because I will ensure you don't sussed in leaving me. I do happen to enjoy your company. I may be nothing to you but I am a prince as well and will see to it that you are are cared for." He said as he heard his stomach growling not wanting to hear any more of this as he just wanted some food.

Ana was surprised when she heard him and just stared at him for a little bit and then looked down. He wasn't that much of a jerk, he just didn't understand everything. She brought her knees to her chest and hugged them as she looked at him. "they may be wicked words but they are the truth." she said softly and then sighed. "I dont mind being married to you and I truely dont want to ditch you. IN all truth if things were different I would be happy right now. Your also not nothing I just dont want to hurt you but the thing is my time is very short. My amulet is very different from the others and that difference is something that no one should suffer." she said as she looked at him. She then pulled out the amulet from under her shirt and looked down at it. "my amulet is the earth amulet. It is very powerful since whoever weilds it can control the land. But the side affect is that the more you use it the more it takes away the users life. My father made me use it many times and now my time is very short here." she said softly and wondered how he would react to that.

Fox lessen to her as he sat there quite. He shifted his eyes as he slowly moved closer to her and gently picked her up and placing her in his lap as he lessen to her staring at the amulet. He knew of the amulet he was trained since he was little how to protect and retrieve these monsters. Each one came with its own price for using it and protecting it. He looked to his wrest where the mark that he had been born with was that is why he was here it was the people here that had trained him and the king that found him and strangely enough he was back here again and with the amulet and its owner. "For every action there is an equal opposition action. There has to be a way to save you and we will find it Ana. " He said to her as he gently held her close to him.

Ana was surprised when he set her on his lap but found she liked it and leaned against him as she spoke. She then listened to him and found a few tears run down her cheek when she felt his arms around her. She wrapped her arms around him gently and found herself burring her face into his chest. "thank you." she said since now she wasn't alone. She had been alone for so long that to know that it wasn't a "I" anymore but a "we". It was a scary thing to know you only had a few months to do anything and now she wasn't alone. She wasn't sure if he would understand why she said thank you but she didn't care. ONce she calmed down slightly she looked up at him. "but how are we going to find it?" she asked as she looked at him.

Fox gently stroked the back of her head as he heard her. "Simple we ask our friends. We have many friend here and low around here." He said as he kissed the top of her head. He didn't understand why he had the need to hold her and to whip away her fears but he did and he loved it. He smiled as he knew that she would end up changing him and making him better than what he was now. "Close your eyes Ana and rest shhh.." He said as he gently stroked her trying to get her to calm down and relax some. He arched a brow as he felt some one staring at them as he held her closer and gently rested his head on hers not allowing any to see her fradgial and being the girl she really was.

Ana closed her eyes and leaned into his touch when he stroked her head. She then nodded when she heard him and found she liked it when he kissed her head. She felt protected for the first time since her brother and sister left her and she found even though she didn't know him very well she didn't really want to lose him now. She then nodded and relaxed into his touch more. Though felt eyes on her for a second before she felt him pull her closer and his head on hers. She then closed her eyes and in a matter of minutes fell asleep in his arms. It wasn't one of those sleeps that was light and felt like nothing but a deep one that showed she trusted him more then ayone else.

Fox held her as she slept keeping her warm as she did so. He sat there they hole night as he pondered on how to save her knowing he would ask his friend soon enough. He didn't know why the Chief wanted him to marry Ana and why Ana would allow it. She was not obligated by any means to marry him. He head heard stories of the Earth amulet but had never really went into question if they where real. He wasn't sure how but he was going to give it his all to protect Ana and help her gain her people back and give them the leadership they deserved. He knew in his heart Ana would be the leader that they had longed for and he was going to make sure they had her.

Ana slept peacefully and dreamt of her kingdom. It was beautiful, just like it use to be before her father got ahold of it. She was hte queen and all of her people loved her. Yet her king was Fox. He looked funny wearing a crown but she liked it on him. But before she coudl go over to him things seemed to go completely wrong. She drifted into darkness and soon pain racked threw her body. It hurt so much that her eyes shot open and she was wide awake. It was light out now and Fox was still holding her. forgeting about her dream for a bit she looked up at him, "have you been up this whole night?" she asked as she wondered why he would do that.

Fox moved his head as he felt her move suddenly. He stared down at her as he gave a nod. "Of course..I wanted to ensure that you slept well and where safe. I do not sleep that much as it is and I promised to protect you. Besides you looked like you where sleeping better as I kept watch. " He said as he gave her a warm smile. "You had a nightmare didn't you?" He asked as he still held her close enjoying her beautiful tantalizing sent. "You starting moving it was the amulet causing you pain?"

Ana nodded but was still worried, he should sleep more then that. She relaxed further into his arms but when she heard him she sighed. Nodding she looked down at her amulet, "it happens sometimes. When I start to have a good dream it makes sure to remind me that it is there and it is taking me to my death. So it shoots pain threw me somtimes." she said and wished that it would just stop. She then looked up at him, "i use to be use to the pain but after my father started to use it the pain just intensified and now it sometimes feels like something is crushing me." she said to him softly and stayed close.

Fox pulled her close to him as he just held her and kissed the top of her head." We will figure out how to stop it from doing that to you. Are you hungry? I have to go soon enough and help the others finish the house. But I promise to come back here for you. If you are going to stay that long. I would like to go with you if you would let me. I might be of some use to you. Besides the chief and I am sure my brother want let us go anytime soon or the villagers. I have a feeling the women will be papering you soon enough. You don't have to go through with their wish Ana. You aren't bound here." He said not wanting her to do anything she would regret. "Even if you don't want to I will help you figure out how to beat it." He said whispering it to her meaning it. "

Ana listened to him and smiled when she felt him kiss her head. She then looked up at him, "I am not backing out of thise, Fox. I know I can but it feels right, if that makes sence. Being here with you, Rin, and everyone else just feels like I am suppose to do all of this." she said as she looked up at him. "do you think I could help you finish the house or do you think that the girls in the village will drag me away before I can help?" she asked since she wanted to help him finish the house.

Fox smiled as he heard her and laughed. "Well I don't know about them. But if you want to come with me I don't see what you can't."He said as he smiled and grinned. " We better get you some food first." He said as he peered down at her. "I am sure that Rin and the cheif would be happy to have the help. And it would make their day to see us together apparently. Though I warn you if anyone of the others look at you I will kill them."

Ana smiled, "good, I hate standing back and watching people work." she said and from a princess like herself it wasn't something you would think she would say. When he mentioned food again her stomach growled and she laughed, blushing slightly. "okay, food first then building." she saod as she looked at him. She then shook her head, "I can take care of myself and If they try anything I will set them straight. I haven't survived this long for nothig." she said as she looked at him. Slolwy she then pulled away from him and stood up. "now let's go eat." she said as she held out a hand to him.

Fox smiled as he took her hand and stood up. He stretched as he looked around wondering where the others where. He looked to the door as he smelt something coming out the next room. He couldn't help himself as he walked and moved the wood door as he looked back to Ana. "Are you coming?" He couldn't help himself he had to figure out where that smell was coming from.

Ana smiled as he tookk her hand and she streached herself. Though stopped when she smelled something. It smelled odd and she coudlnt' put her finger on what it was. Though he snapped her out of it when she heard him. She then smiled and nodded as she walked over to him, "lets go." she said as she opened the door and headed out of there, wondering what she was smelling.

Fox took her hand as he smiled. He lead her into the main part of the house as he was greeted by his beloved brother and laughed as he saw the look he flashed him. He brushed it off not going into any details with him. Ana was a matter that he didn't wish to speak of but would kill anyone if they did. He took his set as he rolled his eyes as Rin talked his head off wanting to know if he like Ana and if he would marry her. " If you don't eat you will be killed by your father when you don't finish the buildings." He said finally as he took his food and ate not giving into the others as they bombarted him with their questions. He would let Ana tell if she wanted to and if not he would respect it and protect her.

Ana smiled as she followed him and saw how everyone was reacting to them. She didn't let it bother her though, she was happy to be here with fox. She then sat down next to him and listened to Rin talk for a while. She then started to eat but when everyone started to ask question after question she stopped and looked at them. "my matters for doing this is my own and I would rather keep them my own." she said simply and then went back to eating. They continued to ask questions but at least now they didn't execpt a answer form her.

Fox was going to answer when he found himself outside before he could blink. He looked around looking for his food and the others only finding the other men as he gave up on finishing his meal. He followed the others to the work site. He went back to building the the wall he had been working on. After a while he became oblivious to the other men as the whispered and taunted one another. His mind was on Ana as he tried to figure out how he was going to save her. He didn't know much about the earth amulet the others he knew water,fire,air, weather....and darkness along with light. He spent his time lost in thought as he tried to figure out how he could save her.

Ana was enjoying herself, that was until they took fox outside. She guessed that they were going to go and work on the house so she moved to go after them. Though when she did the girls of the village started to crowd around her. They started to tell her everything about the wedding that was going to happen and started to lead her into a different room. Before she kenw it she was standing int he middle of the room as they worked on making her a traditional wedding outfit. They fussed about her and no one really seemed to notice that Ana didnt' want this. Though she hd to go by there rules since it was there land so she let them and relaxed as they got her fitted.
