From what I've read and heard, your blood type determines what you're best suited eating. For example, people with blood type A are better off being vegetarians while people with blood type O are better off eating meat. It's a shaky science though so I wouldn't put too much thought into it. But I do believe that different people are better suited to eating certain things than other people. I'm just not sure if blood type determines that. You blood type may play a factor in it though.
Anyway, I'm a vegetarian and I became that not because I have a love for animals or because I'm a hippy tree hugger but because I wanted to live a healthier lifestyle. Hell, I love animals but it doesn't bother me if someone eats a burger right next to me. Neither of my parents are vegetarians and whenever we all go out to eat, they always have a steak or ribs or something along that lines and it's never bothered me because humans are natural omnivores. We're designed to eat both meat and vegetables. But eating meat was never for me. In fact, after eating certain kinds of meat, I would feel sick afterwards. We're all built differently and some are suited for only eating veggies while some of us aren't.
Oh and unlike some vegetarians, I still eat eggs. That's mostly because I never really saw them as a type of meat anyway XD
