Shouki just shrugs a bit. "People overreact nowadays to everything." He looks up at Asher, blinking a bit, at the next part, but the smiles with his tail, obviously, trying to wag furiously. He kind of tackles Asher, hugging him and nuzzling into him. He may not say that he likes Asher out loud, but he tries to show it and he sure as hell means it. Shouki then squawks a bit as he's talked, which makes him blush even more now. "Y...yeah. Good deal then." He's rubbing his nose a bit, embarrassed. He didn't mean to tackle or kiss....well he did, but he didn't. He's a bit confused right now.

(We could always have Asher's mother come by at some point lol)

Asher could help, but laugh at Shouki's reaction and when he tackles Asher to the ground he laughs some more as he hugs Shouki to him. He was really enjoying himself at this point and he didn't regret leaving his home now. He liked being with Shouki and having fun like they were. It was far better than being locked up in his home like he used to be. Asher chuckles a bit at Shouki's voice when he tries to talk. He thought it was cute and he liked it. He looked at Shouki and smiled. "Okay, let's make some more."

[Enters crazy women O.O]
"Asher! What are you doing?" Asher was pulled off of Shouki by his mother's hand. He knew her voice from anywhere and would never mistake it for anyone else. He squirmed not wanted to be pulled away again. "I've been worried to death." She said as she hugged him to her tightly. "Mom, I'm fine. Let me go." He said wanting to go back to Shouki. He knew she would try to take him with her. He didn't want that.

"Yay!" Shouki just smiles. "I can teach you other kinds whenever you want to learn them..." But as Asher's mother goes to pull Asher away from him, that smile disappears. He hisses at the woman and clings to Asher. "Mine. Let go of him!" Asher is his to protect and Asher wants to be with him right? So she needs to go away for now. Once Asher says he wants her back around...then...he'll try to deal with it, but until then....he'll keep her from taking Asher away from him. "He doesn't want to go with you! You let people hurt him!" Shouki would never just let someone hurt Asher and then keep them around after that.

"I didn't want to lose him." She said as she looked down a Shouki. Her eyes were a bit unfocused as she remember what had happened to Asher because of her husband. "I didn't want to lose either of them. Asher is my child I at least have the right to take him home." She said as she pulled Asher closer to her. She didn't want to lose him no matter who it was the stood in his way. Asher was her only child left and she couldn't handle it if he left her little the others had. "Asher, I'm sorry. Please, believe me. It was my mistake keeping your father around." She said as she looked at him trying to get him to believe she was sorry about what had happened.

"Mother, I like being with Shouki." Asher said looking down at the ground. He knew she was probably sorry, but it didn't really change what had happened and how she handled it so poorly. She could have tried to tell him sooner or not kept him in the dark. "I don't want to go home." He said softly to her. She kind of pulled back from him and looked down at him. "Asher..." She said as she looked at him and then to Shouki. She didn't want to lose her son. At least not now and she was to that little boy. "What if I let him visit you?" She looked at him.

"No you don't! Not after you kept around the person who wanted and tried to KILL HIM!" Shouki can't help but start growling. "You chose to keep someone around who tried to kill your child! Would you have kept him around if he had succeeded then?" Shouki is pissed at this point. That's even worse than being abandoned in his mind. Being abandoned would be less dangerous overall.

Shouki shakes his head at the visiting idea. "I don't trust you to let him visit and he said he didn't want to go home. He's old enough to make his own decisions. And if he decides he wants to go home, he can. But until then he is staying with me." He's cut off the growling and is trying to keep calm, but it's obvious that he's still pissed as hell.

"Shut up! I don't want to hear you speak! I know what I did and how wrong it was. I've lived with it for all these years." She said looking down at Shouki as he growled at her. She didn't care about what he thought of her. She knew what she had done was horrible. If anything she knew it more than anyone. She didn't need him telling him telling what she already knew about herself.

"Shouki...It's fine." Asher said as he lowered his head. She was his mother and she was at least making an attempt to be a better mother with her offer. "I...I need to go home...I'll come back to visit...and you can visit me, right mother?" He said as he glanced in between the two of them. "Yes, he can." She said even though she didn't want to say it, but he wanted her son back. He was still her baby and she didn't want to lose him. "I still like Shouki and I will defiantly miss you when you're not around." Asher says as he looks back at Shouki.

"Well, took long enough to realize it apparently...since you've never done anything about it." Shouki is just speaking the truth. She should've gotten rid of that man the second she realized how wrong it was and yet she didn't. Which in his mind means she cared more for that man than for her own child. Shouki just bows his head at Asher's words then. "Fine then. Go back with her. I'll see you later then." He says softly. Actually, he doubts that he'll see Asher again and it hurts him to think about it. But it's his choice what he does...even if Shouki doesn't like it and it hurts him in his chest.

Once Asher leaves with his mother, he closes up shop. He can't be there right now...or at his shack either....so he kind of just starts wandering around in the woods a bit once he gets to them. By this time he's crying.

Asher went home with his mother and she did let him to somethings she hadn't before then, but other than that she was mostly the same expect she seemed to be sadder. Asher had planned on going to see Shouki the next, but he slept straight through that day and most of the next. He wondered if Shouki would come visit him as he played outside in the woods near his house, but he didn't see him while he was out there. It mad Asher sad as he roamed around alone. He hadn't meant to hurt Shouki like he had. He had just wanted everyone to at least be somewhat happy. He thought maybe he could do that with Shouki being able to visit and him moving back but he guessed he was wrong. A few weeks passed and still no Shouki to be seen at Asher's house. Asher told his mother he was going down to the market and with a little bit of convincing she let him. He left and went down to the market to find Shouki.

Shouki is actually at his stall for once. The past couple of weeks, he hasn't been able to motivate himself to actually go to his stall and try to sell things. Or really make them for that matter. What little he did make, looks depressing kind of compared to what he used to make. He just hasn't been motivated lately to do anything else. He's leaning up against and has head resting on the stall. He's not even trying to sell anything at this point. If someone comes over and buys, great. If not, that's fine too. He's in a slump to say the least. He's still debating on leaving this area....even though he doesn't really have the money to do it....but maybe it would be better for him if he did. It's not like he has anything here for him anymore....like before....when he was also debating on leaving as well. He also looks a bit skinnier since he hasn't been eating normally either.

Asher notices Shouki and runs up to him and hugs him tightly. He is extremely excited to see him since it had been forever since he had seen him, or at least he thought so. Asher had a hat that his mother had bought for him and a a wrap to hide his tail. "Hey, Shouki!" He says as he laughs and squeezes Shouki tightly to him. Though he notices that he is thinner than Asher remembered him to be. "Where have you been?" He asks as he tilts his head to look at Shouki face to face. He notices his expression and frowns and reaches up to make Shouki smile. "Why are you so sad?" He asks.

[I figured that I couldn't have Asher completely hate his Mother or it wouldn't make sense as to why he visits her. I do have something in mind as to why Asher leaves her for good though, but I have to wait a bit but not too long.]

Shouki squeaks a bit at the hug, not expecting it. He shivers bit...and he's not even sure why he does. "Ah....I haven't been anywhere really." Just not at the market. He's been avoiding it...along with other things as well. He hasn't really been eating much either. He just hasn't been motivated to do anything. He pulls away as Asher tries to touch him and make him smiles. "It's nothing. It doesn't matter." There's that pain back in his chest again. He thought it wasn't going to come back...at least for awhile longer if nothing else. It bothers him that he's hurting like this. He should be used to this type of stuff and it shouldn't bother him that this happened. He should've expected it, but he didn't.

(I understand that. :3 That's why Shouki hasn't left yet lol And the fact that Asher probably couldn't follow lol)

Asher frowns at Shouki for a bit before he smiles at him not wanted both of them to be sad. He wanted them to both be happy that they were together now. "But it does matter because your sad." Asher said as he looked at Shouki. He knew something was wrong with him, but he didn't know what it was. He just wanted to see Shouki smile more like he had before. "Come on, let's make some more bracelets." Asher says as he grabs Shouki's hand and pulls him along. He sits down and pulls Shouki with. "I missed seeing you." Asher said as he picked up some things to begin his bracelet though he looked up for a few moments to see Shouki.

[Okay, just wanted to make sure you knew so you wouldn't get upset :3]

"No it doesn't. It doesn't matter." Shouki says softly. It isn't like he hasn't been through worse before...though it never hurt him this much when his family left him. It never hurt this much...to think of it or anything. But this....this hurts a lot more and right now he's fighting the urge to cry. And he's winning....for now, but how long will that last? He almost jerks away on instinct as Asher grabs him and pulls him down. Shouki is just kind of sitting there, when Asher looks back, picking at the bracelet he's wearing. It's the one Asher made for him. He's just zoned out right now with his eyes watering.

(Shouki is upset. Not me lol. Because I know they gotta work out somehow lol)

"Why doesn't it matter? It should because you shouldn't feel sad." Asher puts down the things he was about to work and just looks at Shouki. He really knows that something is wrong now and he wants to make it better. He doesn't like to see Shouki like this and he wants to change it. "Shouki? What's wrong?" Asher asks as he leaned in closer to Shouki. He placed his hand on top of his wrist trying to get his attention since Asher had noticed he was looking off. Asher saw the film of tears in Shouki's eyes. "Shouki? Please tell me." Asher somewhat whined as he looked at Shouki and squeezed his wrist a bit.

[Well, I know Shouki is upset. I've had people get a bit upset when I try to put a twist in to a plot or just do what was already in the plot a different way than they were thinking they get upset with me about it. They seemed to think I was trying to ruin the rp or something. X.x It turned into a complete mess.]

"It just doesn't matter." Shouki should have realized this is how his life will go down and that he shouldn't expect good things or for things to stay good. That just isn't his luck. He should've realized it that once his family left him.....he got what they left him for not having. He just tries to pull away. He doesn't want to be touched right now. "It's nothing. Like I said, it doesn't matter." Asher made his decision and Shouki doesn't want him to feel bad about it, but he was hoping he could hide it a lot better when/if he saw Asher again. That hope has obviously been dashed at this point.

(I wouldn't get mad for that....I didn't have a specific way this was supposed to go down....just that it was supposed to go down, you know?)

"Well...I think it matters." Asher said as he looked down at his hands. He didn't know what to do to make Shouki feel better and he was beginning to feel upset as well for coming. It must have been him that had upset Shouki so much. It was the only thing that made sense to him. "I'm sorry for coming. I can leave if you want me to." Asher says as he keeps looking down. He wasn't crying yet, but he was frowning deeply. He didn't understand what had happened. He was thinking he might have lost his one and only friend and he didn't even know why. "I wouldn't have come if I knew I had done something wrong." Asher let go of Shouki's wrist and stood up slowly. He was going to leave enough though he didn't want to, but if he was the reason that Shouki was so upset then he was going to leave. He didn't want to make Shouki anymore upset than he was already.

[Yeah I understand...]

Shouki doesn't look up or anything, but as Asher stands up to leave, he reaches out and grabs Asher's wrap thing. "I don't want you to go....didn't want you to go the first time." He says very lowly and softly. At this point, tears are actually starting to fall. "Don't want you to go." Asher didn't do anything wrong really, but it still hurt him to see him go back with his mother. It shouldn't have hurt him in his logic....but it did. He just tightens his grip on the wrap in case Asher still wants to leave. "Never wanted you to go." He says softly before rubbing at his eyes with his other hand, wanting the tears to go away.

Asher feels the tug on his wrap and stops. He glances down over his shoulder at Shouki and blinks. He had thought he had done something wrong to make Shouki upset. He was a bit confused until Shouki told him he hadn't wanted him to leave the first time. He understood now that Shouki was upset that Asher had left with his mother. "I wasn't leaving for good." Asher said as he turned completely around being careful that Shouki wouldn't pull off his wrap. "I still want to go to the Zoo with you. I still want to be with Shouki." He never meant to leave him completely. He knew his mother had been truly sorry. She wouldn't have let him come here if she wasn't somewhat sorry about the things she had done. "I just can't leave my family...and I wouldn't leave my only friend." Asher looked down at the ground trying to think of what he would say, but he really couldn't think of anything more to say.

Shouki can't help how he feels. "I know that's what you said...." He says softly, but who says Asher's mother wouldn't go back on her word? It wouldn't surprise Shouki at all...considering she kept someone around that tried to kill her son. In his mind, they should have broke them apart a bit at least. And deep down he was worried about Asher because of that, but there isn't anything he can do really about that. He's just afraid that something will happen and Asher will never come back....and that he'll be alone again. Shouki just has his head bowed, still crying. Right now, he can't stop it. He has other...fears...about all this but he can't voice those since he isn't even sure what they are. He ends up scooting over to Asher and leaning into him a bit. He's been lonely lately.

"Did you think I would lie?" Asher says as he glances up at Shouki. He didn't want Shouki to think that he couldn't trust him. He wasn't going to leave Shouki. He really liked him and wanted to be around him more. He just didn't want to abandon his mother either. She raised him and took care of him even if it was in a weird way. He couldn't just turn his back on her. He couldn't do that to Shouki either, though for different reasons. Shouki was his one and only friend and he didn't want that to change. "I'm not going anywhere. I don't want to go anywhere far from you." Asher said as he hugged Shouki when he leaned into him. He could tell that he was crying, but he didn't exactly know how to stop him from crying any more.

"No....I don't think you'd lie..." But that same statement doesn't go for Asher's mother....considering how much she's lied to Asher already...why wouldn't she lie to Shouki too? And then just take Asher away from him forever. Words don't mean as much anymore....that's why people write out contracts and sign them. For proof that the person "promised" this. And then people still break those contracts as well. At the hug, Shouki kind of nuzzles into Asher's leg. Shouki doesn't know how to stop this crying either except wait for it to stop. "I don't want you to go..."

Asher nodded down at Shouki when he said he didn't think he had lied about coming back. He wasn't going to just leave. He had come down just to see Shouki besides it wasn't like he had any other reason to be down at the market. He would have gotten lost if he was to attempt to go anywhere else. Asher placed a hand on Shouki's head. He was careful not to pull off his bandanna. He didn't need to cause a scene. He smiled at him. "I just got here, I'm not going to leave yet." He wanted to stay here with Shouki as long as he could before he had to leave again. While his mother had given him more freedom he doubted that she wanted him out too late. She still had somethings that she wouldn't let him do.

Shouki hugs Asher's legs since he doesn't feel like getting up for some reason. "I wish you didn't have to leave at all." He says softly before nuzzling Asher's leg a bit. "But....I know you have to..." He whines softly. "When do you want to go to the zoo?" He asks softly. Shouki has some money saved up. He's not sure if it's enough for the to go to the zoo and all, but if he has a deadline...he'll definitely work hard enough to get the money by then. "And....be careful." He says extremely softly. What if that man comes back? And he isn't happy? Bad things could happen to Asher....and maybe his mother too.

Asher's smile turns into a frown slightly when Shouki says that he wishes he didn't have to leave at all. He knew that Shouki didn't like his mother and that she didn't like him. He knew they wouldn't get along, but they both meant a lot to him. He didn't want either of them to be unhappy about what he did, but he couldn't seem to win. He thought maybe if he went back to his mother and was still able to see Shouki on a regular basis it would be fine. He guessed wrong he thought. "I want to stay with you, but I'm just not...ready...I guess." He knew it must have sounded somewhat weird to Shouki, but it was the only way he could seem to phrase it. He wasn't ready to up and leave his mother for good and live with Shouki. It was almost too clear when he Shouki told him things and he was completely clueless. He had things he still needed to learn. He didn't want to bug Shouki by making him teach him everything. "Whenever you get the money, I'm not going to rush you. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon." Asher said with a little smile. He really wanted to go to the Zoo with Shouki. It was something he had dreamed about. He wanted to see the animals that Shouki had told him about.

Shouki can't help it. It's the truth. He doesn't want Asher to leave....no matter who he's really going to, but he knows Asher's going to leave either way. He'll just have to find a way to deal with this that isn't the same way he has been dealing. Shouki whines a bit at his not ready thing. "Why?....how?" He doesn't understand it. It's not like he was forcing him into something bad or anything...was it? Did he do that? He didn't mean to if he did... And he doesn't mind explaining things to Asher. It's fine by him. It kind of makes him feel important/smart once in awhile. "Oh....okay then...." He just leans into him more. "....do you still want to make bracelets?"
