Shouki makes a questioning noise and tilts his head as Asher frowns. "Well...like I said, we don't have to get fish....though some of them are pretty." Like the betta fish. Those are the ones Shouki likes. They're easily to take care of and they're pretty. Best combo ever. "Um....I don't really know. They probably have varying prices...different breeds of things costing different amounts?" He's not really sure since he hasn't been to one in forever. "But if they cost too much....we can try and find someone who is giving away animals...if we can find one we like..."

(Got to go to class but I shall return!)

"I guess.." Asher still didn't know how he felt about having a fish as a pet. It may have been pretty, but it still kind of scared him ."Okay." Asher said listening to what Shouki was telling him because he didn't really know anything that was going on or how it would work. He didn't want to go with Shouki and not be of any help when they actually did buy the pet. "That's good!" Asher's tail wagged at the thought of not making Shouki spend too much money on things. He felt bad enough that he thought he needed to buy him candy.

"I'm not saying we have to get one....I just think some are pretty....and others kind of freak me out..." Like those bug eyed ones, they freak him out a bit. They stare at him way too much. Shouki chuckles a bit when Asher's tail starts wagging. He leans over and kisses Asher gently. "Even though you don't like it....I still think you're cute." And he kisses Asher again. Silly Asher, Shouki knows he doesn't have to buy candy, but he wants to-he's just using that as an excuse. Plain and simple. Also, the chocolate was meant to say that Shouki was sorry, but since Asher isn't a fan of chocolate...Shouki has to get him something else to make up for it.

"Okay..." Asher hoped they didn't get any all of them freaked him out and they all seemed to be staring him down and it frightened him. His grandmother had them and he didn't go into the rooms that they were in to avoid their eyes. Asher's tail stopped wagging and his ears flattened a bit when Shouki kissed him again. He was blushing a lot and he threw up his hands to cover his cheeks and turned away from Shouki. He was extremely embarrassed and it seemed to be set off by almost anything Shouki did to him. He sometimes felt like his heart would jump out of his chest. "No, I'm not.." He pouted as he tried to hide his blush from him.

Shouki is okay with having no fish. He just wants a pet or two so they don't ever have to be alone unless they want to be. He whines softly as Asher reacts negatively to Shouki kissing him. His ears droop and so does his tail before he does some sad eyes at Asher. He's looking pathetic. "I'm sorry, whatever I did wrong, I'm sorry. I won't do it again." His head is bowed by the time he finished talking. "I'm sorry." He whines a bit, wrapping his tail around himself.

Asher shakes his head still not looking over at Shouki. He didn't want him to see him blushing like he was. "You didn't do anything...I'm just...Embarrassed and I don't want you to see..." Asher said though he didn't say it that loud because he didn't want to tell Shouki. He didn't want to have Shouki upset about something he didn't do. It was Asher's fault because he didn't know how to deal with it yet. He also thought that Shouki would say he was cute again and that would have just made him blush more than he already was.

Shouki just starts looking up at Asher, still making the sad eyes at him. "But....I love you...so...I don't care what you look like." He kind of paws at Asher's hands. "Look at me." He pulls Asher over to him. "I love you....I want you to look at me." He kind of nuzzles Asher's hand/cheek. "And...do you think I never get embarrassed?" It's happened and Asher has seen it too. He, usually, didn't try to run away or hide it. It's Asher...so it might be alright. Especially since he loves Asher...gotta trust him for that to work out.

"But...It's still embarrassing." Asher said shaking his head back and forth though he stops when he feels Shouki getting closer to him. His face got even redder and he was surprised that Shouki couldn't feel the heat coming off of him. He didn't want to show Shouki his face. "I love you too....but...I don't want you too see..." He really didn't he made him think that things would get worse if he did. "But...I..can't..." He didn't know what to do and he knew that everyone got embarrassed, but he didn't know what to do to get rid of it and he really did want it gone. "You can't laugh at me....or...call me cute..." He didn't want either of those, but most of all the last. He kind of takes his hands away from his red face and closes his eyes slowly lifting his head. He couldn't open his eyes or he would put his hands back to his face.

"So? A lot of things are embarrassing. Not having a better place for you to stay when you did...that was embarrassing for me." More like Shouki was shamed by it, but it was the best he could do. "Can I think it even if I don't say it? Since....I can't really help the thought if you are cute." And Shouki just kisses Asher again. "See, no biggie. Besides it's only me. What bad can come of that? It isn't like I have anyone to tell....or that I'd tell them if I did. It isn't their business." He nuzzles Asher a bit. "I love you so it's between us.

"Why I didn't care. I liked it there." It was true that he didn't care and he enjoyed his time there with Shouki. It didn't matter what type of building, but that he was there with a friend that actually liked him. Asher lowered his head a bit at Shouki's question. "I can't stop you from thinking it..." Though he didn't want him to voice that he thought that because it was embarrassing and he couldn't handle it. Asher blushed again when Shouki kissed him again. "Yeah..." He knew that was turn, but that didn't mean that he didn't think that something would happen. He was a very paranoid person for someone, who knew so few people. He didn't know who he might tell, but the thought was still there though. "...Okay....I love you too..."

"Well...even if you don't care....I do. I want to have a nice place for you." Shouki says softly. It's not necessarily a pride thing....he just thinks it isn't good enough for Asher and since he loves the other, he wants something good enough for him (or completely awesome-either works). He nuzzles Asher a bit when he essentially says he can think it, and he purrs softly. "I wouldn't tell anyone. It isn't important for them to know....not like they'd die or anything if they didn't know....whoever they is." He makes a happy little noise at Asher say he loves him; he just has to hug him tightly and kiss him again.

Asher didn't fight with it because he knew that Shouki had his own view of it and so did he. Asher didn't care what the house was like as long as he was with Shouki and they were enjoying it. "I know...I know..." It didn't mean he wouldn't worry about it or be paranoid still. It was just something Asher did though he didn't mean any harm by it. Asher stiffens up at the tight hug and tries to hug Shouki back, but it's a little awkward for him.

In the end, Shouki will probably let Asher have his way to some extent. He wants better things than what his place is no matter what. That he won't give up on at all. It isn't awkward to Shouki, but he's so happy that it can't be awkward to him. His happiness would kill the awkward even if it was there. "I love you." He loosens his hold a bit-in case it is too tight-and nuzzles Asher, purring.

(I'm surprised Asher's mother hasn't appeared out of nowhere LOL)

Asher laughs a little has Shouki's purring and how he is always so happy. He doesn't know how he does it, but he is happy that they aren't fighting anymore. That was all that matter because Asher hadn't liked his days alone inside. "I love you too." He says as he hugs Shouki. He knows that he won't be able to stay out forever, but he didn't want to go in yet. He had been inside for the past few weeks. Asher squirmed out of the hug and grabbed Shouki's hand and pulled on his hand as he stood up. "Come on, let's not just sit here." He said with a smile.

[I guess we are just luck then ;) Haha, sorry it took so long again.]

Asher just makes Shouki happy, even with their fighting and all that, he's still happy either way. He just nuzzles into Asher at the hug, purring contentedly. He makes this weird noise as Asher squirms away. Shouki stumbles a bit as he's pulled up. "Where are we going?" Shouki has no clue...if Asher even does. It wouldn't surprise him, but either way he can find their way back if need be.

Asher kinda of stumbles a little bit at the noise Shouki had made, but he continues on pulling Shouki along with him. He didn't want to just stop like he normally would have and had an awkward moment. That was one of the last things he wanted to do. "Does it matter?" Asher asked as he pulled Shouki through his yard out further away from the house. He didn't really know where he was going, but he didn't want to stay still in front of his house forever. So, he just kept going. He would stop when he wanted to.

[I try to tell everyone after a few days and I know I won't be able to get on any time soon. I feel bad though for making people wait so much though :/ ]

Shouki couldn't help the noise, he was happy and comfortable down there and Asher moved. So his automatic reaction? Was a noise. But, either way, he lets himself be pulled along. "I.....guess not? I was....just wondering if he had a place in a mind...or if it's....adventure time or something?" He has no clue really, he's just letting himself be pulled along for once. "Just want to get away from your house or something?" He's just curious, but he's still purring softly underneath it all.

(That's better than everyone else apparently. They like to disappear and say nothing, ever. That's the waiting I hate....which is why I think I'm going to have a new rule....with maybe a few exceptions-after a week of inactivity...I'm not checking anymore...have them PM me or whatever if they really want me to reply...these people are online alot, replying to other rps, but not the one we have together. That's what pisses me off. You don't do that though...and I'm glad of that.)

Asher kept pulling Shouki along not really sure if he had a place in mind as to where they were going or not. He just didn't want to sit there forever. He knew it couldn't have been too much fun for Shouki. Asher didn't really say anything to the question that Shouki asked. He didn't like the house or being near it or inside it. Asher ran quiet a distance from his house before he just kind of fell down into the grass pulling Shouki with him. "Maybe, I just..." He shrugged as he laid on the ground. He didn't know where he wanted to go with that sentence. He just wanted to get away like he always had. He rolled onto his back and looked up. "Do you want to go back?"

[Yeah, I understand it's frustrating after a while. I try to reply to everyone unless I don't know what I want to write yet, but that usually doesn't last a week though. I just work a lot and I can't always find enough time to reply to people.]

Shouki just likes being around Asher. It makes him happy...doesn't matter if it was fun or not. He loves being around Asher...unless his mother is around. She just happens to spark anger within Shouki. Just a bit. He squeaks as he's pulled down, surprised by it. "No....I'm good with wherever you are." If it wasn't for the market and needing to make money for food and the like....he wouldn't leave. Even with Asher's mother around, but that's not a possibility right now. He nuzzles Asher a bit. "You make me happy." Even if they fight.

(And I can understand that, you at least let me know about it instead of leaving me wondering if you now find the rp boring or if I'm not up to standards etc etc)

"Are you sure about that? Even if I'm useless. " He didn't like just being a little tag along. He really liked Shouki, but he didn't think he could do anything to help him with things. He barely knew anything about the outside world let alone about taking care of a house and everything. "I'm happy with you too.." He said as he looked up. He did feel happy around Shouki a lot happier than he did inside his house. Yet, he still felt like he let Shouki down because he couldn't do anything, but be a pain. "I'll try to be more useful...I'll try."

[This is one of my favorite Rps I wouldn't give it up so easily.]

"You're not useless. You make me happy." Sometimes Shouki can be simple and naive like that, but it's the truth. "No one else does that." He nuzzles Asher a bit. The only people who used to make him happy....left him because they didn't believe he'd develop into what he is now. "Good deal, we're both happy. Wouldn't work otherwise." He's smiling a bit. "You are useful though, you just don't see it....it seems." Shouki sees it though. He has realized until now, he was going through life like a zombie. Now he's not, thanks to Asher.

Asher didn't see it because he didn't think there was something to see. He just saw himself as useless because all he could was sit around and talk and he didn't even do that right sometimes. "Okay..." He didn't want to fight this out with Shouki because it wouldn't lead anywhere. "I'm glad you're happy. " Asher said with a smile as he looked over at Shouki. He really was glad that he wasn't ruining this moment.

Shouki's ears droop a bit as he realizes that Asher doesn't believe him or whatever on the useless thing. "But you aren't useless....you make me happy....no one else can do that." He's almost doing the chibi eyes. "And I love you. So you're not useless. And you're a person. No person is useless. Might not know what they're use is, but never useless." He leans over and kisses Asher. "I love you. Makes you incapable to be useless."

Asher reached out to place a hand over Shouki's eyes. "D-Don't..." He struggled to say. He didn't want to see those eyes so soon. He didn't want to ruin this little moment of calm. "...I just don't see it...You may, but I...I can't.." He didn't like it anymore than Shouki did, but it was the way that he felt about the matter. He didn't have anything he could really physically prove his usefulness with. Shouki had his stall and all the things he made and even his shake, no matter how small Shouki thought it was. It was something. "How?...I-I don't understand..." Asher said pulling his hand back once Shouki kissed him. He was so confused by everything and didn't know what he should feel.

Shouki ends up curling up a bit with his tail wrapped around himself. He doesn't know what he's doing wrong right now. "But you are." Shouki says softly before pulling Asher into a hug and nuzzling into him again. "You just make me happy which is better than anyone else can do. No one else can do anything near that...so never think you're useless? And it's not good to think that way either." He's heard of some people thinking that way and what they ended up doing. He just shakes his head a bit...he doesn't think Asher would do that...so he's not going to say anything about it.
