When they entered the castle Jaxon knew that he had to address Farron as master as to not getting caught being disrespectful therefore being punished. Hearing how Farron was praising him on how well he was adapting Jaxon looked down at the ground and blushed slightly saying "Thank you, master". He didn't really know if he was adjusting very well seeing as how most of the stuff that was happening now just confused him, so he just went along with it hoping that it was the right thing to do. Seeing as how there were others in the room Jaxon kept quiet not really sure what to so and stayed by Farron's side keeping his eyes lowered so he didn't get lost or in trouble. Upon hearing Farron's comment about bathing together Jaxon looked down more as to hide and blushed, sure back at the slave shop most of them were washed together but that was only because the handlers didn't want to wast too much water. He stumbled for a moment looking for words then said "I-it's alright I'll let you be alone." He had been taught during training that he was lower then the person who was going to own him so he was just taking his training hoping that he was making a mistake. Seeing as most of the train delt with how to be a commoner's slave not a royal's slave.

Farron frowned a little bit when the other said that he wanted to let the other be left alone. He wasn't going to press the matter, there would be plenty more time for them to get closer to one another. Time was on his side this time. He nodded his head though as he watched another maid usher Jaxon away from him. He suddenly felt very alone as he saw the other go down the other hallway. Continuing towards his room he stripped down to nothing as he climbed into the shower. He turned the water on and then let it cascade down his back. He didn't know why the other was making him so frustrated. Farron rubbed his head a little as he let out a frustrated sigh. This was something that he would need to figure out at a later day. He would deal with it tomorrow. There were many other places that Farron wanted to show Jaxon. He could show him the inside greenhouse and garden area after they were done with dinner. This would also give him another opportunity to leave the dinner table as well.

Jaxon followed the lady down the hall away from Farron, he didn't really realize it before but he had never really been away from Farron since he got here. But now he felt as if he was alone, even with the lady walking with him, he was also unsure of what to do normally Farron would have been there to correct him if he was wrong. Jaxon looked down at the ground as they walked and didn't speak he didn't need to get in trouble not on the first time away from Farron. Reaching a room Jaxon stepped in and saw that it was a shower room, he knew what Farron had told him would happen and what he should do so he began. He undressed and put Farron's clothes oh a shelf, folded so that eh wouldn't ruin them and stepped into the shower and started to get clean. He knew that the soon her was clean and ready the sooner he would be able to get back to Farron so that he could feel safe again.

Once Farron was done with his shower, he re-dressed in some more formal looking clothing with gold colored thread embroiderery. He sighed as he looked at himself in the mirror. There was no need for this kind of extravagance. It wasn't like it was a special occasion or anything. Farron had said that he didn't want to have a special dinner or anything for his birthday, but he was pretty sure that his father wouldn't, and hadn't, listened to what he would have said.

Once he was done he turned around in front of the mirror. He didn't looked quite bad. Walking out of his room he went down the hallway towards the end of the hallway, where he went down a flight of stairs, down that hallway and ended up in front of a the main dining hall. Leaning against the nearby wall he nodded as he saw two guards see him and bow. He would wait for the other male until he arrived. He could not allow Jaxon to enter the main dining hall without him.

After finishing his shower Jaxon saw that the clothes that Farron had given him were gone and in their place were a new set of clothes.At first Jaxon had panicked thinking that he had lost Farron's clothes then remembered that Farron had told him the maid would give him new ones for diner. Jaxon quickly dried off and put on the new clothes, these ones seemed to be a little more fancy from the ones earlier but he couldn't really tell that there was a big difference not knowing what the upper classes considered their clothes.

Once he thought he had all of the clothes on he stepped out of the room and headed towards the way Farron had taken when they came it. He walked through the halls and finally found Farron's room and knocked hoping that Farron was there but after a minute or two Jaxon slowly opened the door and stepped in looking around. Seeing that Farron wasn't there Jaxon started thinking about where he could have gone, realizing that Farron probably headed to the dining room already Jaxon headed that way. Turning round a corner he saw Farron as well as some guards so he knew what to do now and walked down the hall towards Farron with his eyes cast down. Upon reaching Farron Jaxon said "Sorry, for making you wait, Master" and kept his eyes down as he spoke and kept his voice quiet.

Farron glanced when he heard the small, semi-muffled footfalls of the other male. Looking up towards the other he sucked in some air. The other male was truly breathtaking, and the clothing that he wore only accented that beauty. He watched as the other walked up to him, albeit hesitantly, with his eyes downcast. There was a small pang of sadness in the other, but he quickly squashed that down. He knew that if the two of them were to survive the dinner meal then the two of them needed to act the role of master and slave. Jaxon was doing a fine job by calling him master.

Once Jaxon was next to him he glanced at one of the guards near the door and he nodded as he bowed. Moving a little the guard opened the door and stepped to the side. He was announced and he walked into the room full of people. His father had really done it now. Not only had he gotten a slave for Farron, but he had the gall to throw a surprise birthday party for him. He gritted his teeth as people approached him, giving their congratulations and false flattery. It made him sick to his stomach. He walked back a little as he gently took Jaxon's hand in his own. "Relax," he whispered into the other's ear. "No harm will come to you while you are near me."

Jaxon stood behind Farron slightly as the guards opened the door and stepped to the side to let them in. Jaxon looked up through his eyelashes and saw how many people were there and instantly felt sick to his stomach. He never liked big crowds, they always made him feel smaller then he already was anyways. He then looked back down at the ground when he saw people approaching Farron, and just wish he was invisible so that he could get away from this large group.

While looking at the ground he saw Farron stepping back a bit and was about to move back as well when Farron took his hand, Jaxon looked up slightly then right back down at the ground knowing that with this many people here he couldn't do anything wrong. Hearing Farron say to relax and that he would be safe with him made Jaxon feel slightly better but not by much.He kept staring at the ground and quietly said "thank you, master". He didn't move at all he wasn't going anywhere in this room without Farron there, plus Farron holding his hand made him feel safer anyways.

As he held onto the other's hand he could feel the other break out into a cold sweat. The other's hand was becoming rather clammy. He began dodging his way through the crowd until they came to the main dining table where the royal family and the guests sat. Everybody else sat at other tables that were lower since the main table was on a high pedestal and a few stairs higher. Sitting down in an empty chair to his father's right he gestured for Jaxon to follow suit as well. Had he lived in a home where slaves weren't treated nicely he would have the other sit on the floor, but there was no need for that here.

There were a few announcements, some congratulations, and then food began being brought in by different servers. A plate of steaming stew was placed in front of him, and one in front of Jaxon as well. Glancing at the other he wondered if the other knew about which forks and spoons to use first so he whispered,"You start on the outside and work your way in." Hopefully, the dinner ceremony would end quickly. The sooner he got done the sooner he could leave and show Jaxon the gardens.

Jaxon followed Farron through the crowd and up some stairs to what seemed to me a raised floor to him, looking up slightly he could see that it was higher then the rest of the tables. But that was when he looked back down again and continued to follow Farron to the table, he stood behind Farron as he sat down and then just noticed his gesture to sit down beside him. Not wanting to get in trouble Jaxon sat sown and kept his head low, he kept quiet during the announcements and congratulations. He really would have to remember to wish Farron a happy birthday later when he could speak without getting heard, he would have done it sooner if he had known it was today. As soon as the first course came out Jaxon looked at all of the utensils and stared he had absolutely no idea what to do. He was thankful for when Farron whispered what was supposed to be done and slightly nodded his head and waited for the others to start their food before he would start.

Farron glanced over at his father. Everybody was on needles around the other. His father was always one for proper etiquette. The king began to eat, and that signaled that everyone could eat as well. Taking a spoonful of the soup he relished the taste of it. He had always loved this soup since he was a little child. It would only be served on special occasions and whenever he was sick, which was rare in its own right. The stew consisted of leeks, carrots, and chicken. It was delicious indeed. Glancing over at Jaxon he leaned over and asked,"Is everything alright?"

Jaxon sat and stared at the stew for a bit he was really in his own thoughts at the moment as everyone else started. When he heard Farron ask if everything was alright Jaxon was slightly surprised and nodded his head quietly say "Mhmmm" hopefully so that only Farron could hear him. He picked up the spoon on the out side and quietly began eating the stew, it was really good and it was better then what he used to get back at the shop. Jaxon tried to pay more attention durnign the meal so that he wouldn't mess up but there is only so much he could do while keeping quiet in a room full of higher ranking peopel.

Farron continued to eat as he ended up finishing the rest of his stew. About 10 minutes after he was done the next course was brought in. This time it was in a smaller bowl. It was some frozen lemon sorbet to cleanse the pallet before the next course, which would be a salad. As the dish was placed in front of Jaxon he looked over and said,"This is like eating ice cream, only not with cream. It cleanses out your pallet, which is your tongue basically, to get it ready for the next course." He knew that if this continued with one course and then some sorbet that it would be while off because they still had 3 more courses; salad, main dish, and dessert. Maybe he would show the other the gardens tomorrow.

Jaxon finished off the stew shortly after Farron and waited quietly along with him and the others for the next dish. By the looks of how many utensils there were Jaxon could tell that there was going to many more dishes to come out. He looked down at his lap and quietly thought to himself, he was getting really tired and just hoped that he was going to make it through the rest of the meal without slipping up. When the next dish came out Jaxon, looked at it for a minute thinking about what it could be and then he heard Farron telling him what it was. It made sense now though he had never had a thing like this he really didn't understand why it was necessary. Jaxon looked at the bowl and watched out of the corner of his eyes to wait for everyone else to start before he did again.

Farron watched his father take the first bite, then his mother, and then finally he began eating as well. Then the other members of the party began eating as well. Letting out a sigh as he put some of the sorbet in his mouth as he thought about how frivolous all of this was. All he wanted to do was leave, and take Jaxon out and show him the gardens. Soon the sorbet in his small dish was gone. He was so glad that meals like this were a rare occasion because if he had eaten like this constantly he would be needing to get more exercise that or be fitted for clothes constantly. The servers came back taking the plates and replacing them with another. This one had a small cornish hen with various vegetables with some kind of gravy on it. It smelled divine. This was his favorite meal when he was a little child.

Jaxon began eating after everyone else had and would continue to do this after every dish was brought out, as to avoid getting into trouble from anyone. As he finished he sat and patiently waited seeing as there was nothing else to do, he heard some people quietly talking at other tables but he knew that it was just normal table talk. out of the corner of his eye he saw that they were bringing out another dish, when it was placed in front of him he sighed softly, this was more then he had ever eaten in one meal. He knew that he would soon be feeling sick if they kept coming out with food like this but didn't want to be rude as he was merely just a slave anyways.

Soon dinner was replaced by another set of the sorbet, which everyone ate. Then the final course. The chef had made a special birthday cake for the guests and another one just for his family. This one was smaller. They would enjoy this one at a later time, probably sometime tomorrow morning. It was decorated with blue ribbons. Glancing at it it made him feel like a child again. However, he knew that he wouldn't mind when he had to blow the candle out this time around. As per tradition when one blows the candle out he or she is to make a wish. If you don't say it out loud it is supposed to come true.

Soon the meal came to an end. Politely excusing himself from the table he gave a small speech about how thankful he was that everybody had come to celebrate his birthday. He then took Jaxon by the hand. The sun was still up, but that didn't matter since the gardens were artificially lit. This was his favorite place to go when he couldn't sleep, which he found himself frequenting more often. Walking quickly down the corridor he looked back at the other male as he said,"Don't worry. I am going to show you my favorite place in the castle. As promised."

After the meal was finally over Jaxon sat quietly and listened to Farron's speech, he looked up slightly and was still amazed that there were this many people here just for a party. When Farron took his hand and got up fron the table and left the dinning room and began walling down the halls again, Jaxon felt a little better seeing as he was never good with large groups and sitting at that table jus made him feel awkward. Hearing that Farron was taking him to his favorite place in the whole castle Jaxon looked up slightly, he looked around checking for anyone else. Seeing as there was no one there Jaxon lifted his head up more and asked "Where would that be, Master?" He still didn't want to take any chances with not knowing if anyone could still hear them or not.

Farron smiled when he heard the other's tentative voice, but then frowned when he heard the other call him Master. That was something that he wouldn't tolerate when it was just the two of them. He had been forced to take Jaxon in after all as a right of passage. He didn't like owning people, but to keep up appearances he had the other call him Master. "Jaxon," said Farron as he came to a stop. "What did I tell you not to call me when it was just the two of us?" He wasn't very angry with the other male, but he wanted to make his point clear that he didn't like to be called Master.

Jaxon stopped when Farron did and listened to Farron's question then said "Not to call you that when it is just us, sorry I didn't want to chance it yet. He lioked at Farron's chest not wanting to look up at his face. Jacon knew what he was allowed to do just around Farron but there were the fears that someone could hear and get him in trouble and then there was the fact that they were old habits that were going to be hard to break. After staring at Farron's chest for long enough he started looking around at other things while he waited for Farron to say something.

Farron nodded his head in approval at the other's words. He, however, felt a little bad that the other had his head down. He didn't want the other to feel bad about calling him master, and the other did have a point. It was true that even the rumor that the walls had ears were sometimes true. He had found that it was rather odd that people knew about things that were supposed to stay private even though they had been sworn to secrecy. It was rather odd indeed. He looked at the other, almost as if he was studying the other. Taking the other's chin in his hand he leaned forward and captured the other's lips against his own. No one would have thought this was odd since this was one of Jaxon's "duties" so to say. He didn't know why he kissed the other, but by no means did he regret it.

Jaxon kept looking around waiting and hoping that Farron would say something, so when Farron took his chin and kissed him Saxon was surprised and blushed a bright red. Jaxon stood still and didn't move and did not pull away, when Farron pulled away Jaxon just looked as his face was a bright red and he didn't want Farron to notice. He would didn't thing that it was that bad it had just surprised him and it was new to him not saying he didn't like it. To be honest he felt different now seeing as Farron seemed to be the only person who actually cared for him, ever. Jaxon stood there and thought about what had just happened keeping his head down so that the redness in his cheeks could go down without being noticed by Farron.

Farron chuckled at the other's attempt to keep his head turned down. He could just tell the other was blushing a beet red color. Had he not seen his face, a sure sign that the other was blushing was the other's ear color as well. There was nothing to be embarrassed about, but he imagined that it would take the other sometime to get used to his touches, and his kisses. The other had been thrown into a completely new environment after all. He figured that he might as well humor the other by not mentioning it. Taking the other's hand in his own he continued to lead Jaxon down the various corridors and hallways until they came to a stop outside of two rather large looking oak doors.

Letting go of the other's hand he dug around his neck until he brought out a silver, jewel encrusted key. Taking the chain off he slipped the key into the handle and turned. There was a rather loud clicking sound as the lock unlocked. Sliding the key necklace around his neck he pushed open one of the doors and gestured for the other to go in before him.

Jacon had kept his head down when Farron took his hand and was glad that they were moving again, but also that Farron had not brought up what had just happened. By the time they reader the doors Jaxon was pretty sure that his face had returned to a normal colour he looked up at the doors. Seeing at Farron had let go of his hand Jaxon looked over at him and saw him take a key from around his neck then watched at he unlocked the door and returned to it's place around his neck again. Jaxon stood a moment expecting Farron to go first into the room when he notice that Farron was gesturing for him to go first. Jaxon looked from Farron to the door then stepped in, he looked around and stood in awe of what he saw.

Farron continued to hold the door for the other and then walked in himself as he closed the door behind him. He then locked it from the inside so that no one could get in. This was his special place to go, to be by himself, and now this place would be uniquely theirs for the two of them. "So what do you think?" asked Farron as he made a sweeping hand gesture towards the different kinds of plants. "I grew a lot of them from seeds myself." He had also received a lot of help from the royal magician as well. To keep all the plants alive he had to change the temperatures in different areas to accommodate for all of the different flowers. "Come," started Farron. "Let me show you my favorite place in here." The greenhouse was a rather large area, and it would be hard to navigate had Farron not designed it himself, but lucky for the two of them he had. He wanted to show Farron his winter flower collection since having these flowers were so rare because of the climate that they lived in. He was pretty sure that the other hadn't seen anything like this in his entire life.

Jaxon heard Farron walk in behind him and lock the door he turned around slightly and looked at the door wonder why Farron would do that. Hearing Farron ask him what he thought of it Jaxon just looked around again at the huge garden and said It's amazing." Farron loved the outdoors seeing as he normally never got out to see it much he thought that the inside garden was the best thing ever. Hearing that Farron had planted most of the seeds himself was truly magnificent there were somany different kind and the abundance of them all, he thought that it would have taken a long time to grow them all. He kept lookig around until be heard Farron telling him to follow him Jaxon then followed him, he knew that he would probably get lost if Farron wasn't there to help find the way.
