SPOILERX

Name: Sayuri

Age: 11

Bio: Sayuri was born in the Johto region, but soon after receiving her first Pokemon she asked if she'd be able to start anywhere in the world. The professor, Birch, thought the question to be odd and tried to reason with her that it wasn't that easy to do.
After some going back and forth and whatnot over a short period of time, they figured out a plan. Air travel. She'd still keep her starting Pokemon, but she'd have to be careful not to lose it to anyone as it was a very rare Pokemon in the region she wanted to start off in. Now she’s returning to the Johto region after a year.

Personality: A happy-go-lucky girl, Sayuri usually doesn't always think before she speaks which could lead to many misunderstandings. She doesn't mean it, though, if something she says sounds wrong or insulting. Also slightly klutzy, she tends to not watch where she's going either. Other than that, she's a pretty nice girl to hang around with.

Dream: As of now to be a coordinator who knows what she's doing…

Appearance:Sayuri

SPOILERX

Name: Ruben

Age: 11

Bio: Ruben was born in the Kanto region and planned to travel in it since he seemed to know more about the Pokemon living there. When he was slightly younger, he would constantly read books about Pokemon to learn about them more than anyone else who'd be starting their journeys at the same time as him when the legal age came around. Now he plans to travel to the next region for the same thing. Knowledge.

Personality: A real know-it-all, Ruben likes to show off his knowledge in the most rudest way possible. He always seems to be right about anything that's thrown at him even without having to open a book on the topic. Ruben prefers it that way. He's also a bit of a loner and prefers to travel alone, but can tolerate anyone who has to travel with him out of safety or whatnot.

Dream: To travel to each region to obtain knowledge and power. (Not that he's evil or anything. Just something he does. Weird hobby of his.)

Appearance: Ruben

It was a sunny morning and the young blonde was just getting out of bed her usual way, face first after getting tangled up in the sheets followed by a loud thump. She could hear her mother calling up to her to see if she was okay, but knew her daughter had taken worse falls than that. Besides they were both used to it and would soon laugh about what just happened as soon as the blonde went downstairs for breakfast. She was still a klutz even after her first year of traveling. No surprise there.

The blue, nearly black, haired boy on the other hand was already up and at his laptop studying for the journey ahead. He'd heard the thump coming from upstairs, but paid no attention. He hated hearing it each morning but he could do nothing about that as his father insisted they live together in the same house. It was a duplex except The girl lived on the main with a basement and the guy lived on the bottom floor with an attic.

SPOILERX

Name: Naomi

Age: 12

Bio: Naomi was born and raised in Saffron City in Kanto. She and her twin brother Hunter got their first Pokemon at the same time, although they have radically different ones. Their parents both work for Silph Co, so Naomi was allowed to have any Pokemon she wanted. She and her brother travel together, so neither of them has to travel alone. Her parents brought her and her brother to Silph Co all the time when they were children, which seemed a bit unusual...

Personality: Naomi tries to be the more mature twin. She does her best to take care of her brother, and she is the one who keeps track of their money. She doesn't mind a good battle every once in a while, but she prefers to avoid confrontations.

Dream: To be a famous and respected Psychic-type trainer.

SPOILERX

Name: Hunter

Age: 12

Bio: Hunter is Naomi's twin brother. While his sister wanted a crazy-rare Pokemon as her starter, Hunter was perfectly content with a more common Pokemon. He was the one to suggest that he and Naomi stick together, although it wasn't a hard decision. They had never been apart before, so why start now?

Personality: Hunter is a little more absent-minded than his sister, and is perfectly happy leaving the important things to her. He doesn't go looking for fights, but he's quick to jump to Naomi's defense. She takes care of him, so he protects her. That's how it's always been.

Dream: To be a legendary Steel-type master.

Naomi was awake before Hunter was. That was one thing that always had been, and always would be. Naomi was always awake before Hunter was. Their bags were both sitting by the front door, packed and ready to go. They had been home for a while, after two years of traveling, but now both twins were itching to get back out on the road.

Naomi was stretched out on the couch, reading, her Eevee draped over her socked feet. Hunter had teased her for wanting such a rare Pokemon as her starter, but Naomi had teased him right back about wanting one that had to be imported.

thump thump thump

Hunter came stumbling down the stairs, followed by his Aron.

"Rise and shine, Hunt," Naomi said, not looking up from her book. "Took you long enough."

"Shut up," Hunter replied, yawning. "Is there breakfast?"

"Yeah," Naomi replied. "Mom and Dad had to leave early, but they made sure there was stuff for breakfast." Hunter paused.

"Sable isn't waiting anywhere to scare us, is he?" he asked, referring to their mother's beloved Gengar.

"No, Mom took him with her," Naomi replied. "And Dad took Blitz."

"Dad always takes Blitz, it's like he and that Blaziken are attached at the hip," Hunter replied.

"Yeah, yeah," Naomi said. "Go and eat so we can get out of here. There are only so many trains every day that go to Goldenrod City."

Sayuri untangled herself and stood up from the floor only to trip over her still sleeping Chikorita. No face plant this time luckily. Just a quick stumble to land in an almost splits-like position, legs wide apart. With a few twists of her ankles toward the inside, they became centered again. Jumping and landing that way would have worked, too, but she knew her cousin downstairs wouldn't like that at all. Wasn't one for noise.

Somehow Ruben was expecting her to do that, though and when he heard nothing, he was somewhat disappointed, though glad he didn't have to hear anymore noise. At least after the small screech or yelp she'd uttered after tripping.
Ruben was busy now packing the rest of whatever he needed in his bag as well as whatever she needed that she'd forgotten. He was the smart one to bring what was needed while she was... Well, very disorganized... Her mother didn't know a thing about packing for a trip like that and his father was too busy to help out with that sort of thing so he did it himself.

Sayuri in the meantime had stumbled down the stairs and landed in the kitchen, with her turn to make breakfast on the schedule posted on the fridge. The parents were gone already.
Sayuri opened the windows to the kitchen and saw what a beautiful day it was in Celedon City. Good enough to begin their second journey. They'd have to hurry, though as the trains didn't run very frequently. She got started on breakfast.

Ruben knew that the trains had a difficult schedule to follow and weren't very frequent, but he was in no hurry to go anywhere. Chances were he'd leave later than Sayuri did, knowing how excited she was about going to a new place more so than he was. He figured let her go alone. He'd catch up eventually.

While Hunter was in the kitchen getting breakfast, Naomi went into the next room to get her other Pokemon. Her group was more diverse than her brother's, but neither of them had a full team of six yet. She paused in the doorway to look over her group. In addition to her Eevee, she was the proud trainer of a Staryu, a Natu, and an Exeggute. It was a diverse enough team to be able to take on almost anything she came across. Her brother's team couldn't be more different. Hunter had his Aron, a Magenemite, a Scyther, and an Onix.

While Naomi was standing in the doorway watching her own Pokemon, Hunter came up behind her.

"Ready when you are," he said. Naomi didn't even jump. She'd known he was there, just as he would have if she'd came up behind him.

"Alright," she said. She went into the room and over to her Pokemon. "Come on, guys... We're heading out." One at a time, she recalled her Pokemon and clipped the Pokeballs to her belt. It felt good to be getting ready to go again. Hunter did the same, and Naomi followed him out of the room.

Fifteen minutes later, the twins were on their way to the train station to take the Magnet Train to Goldenrod City.

Sayuri had breakfast made and ate herself before searching for her bag which her cousin had taken. She found it on top of her slippers which she'd been looking for earlier, but didn't get angry as she was used to how he was with things. It wasn't very heavy as she slung it over her head and rested it on her left side. After that was done Sayuri ran up the stairs to grab her Chikorita who was still sleeping and carried her down the stairs after putting the other three now minimized Pokeballs in her bag. So far she only had two Oddish, one of each gender, and Bellsprout. She made up her mind to only collect Grass types as they were her favourite. Some were also Poison as well, but just as long as one type was that of Grass she didn't care if it had another type as well. Made for a better advantage that way.

Ruben was still in his room finishing off the bit of studying he could before he, himself headed out toward the outside world. He'd heard the door slam from upstairs which told him his cousin was gone now. Perfect opportunity to head upstairs now and eat breakfast. He hated being near his cousin, so full of energy and hyper all the time. It annoyed him a lot. He'd take the later train because of that.

Sayuri was lucky to live only a city away from the train station, but still had to be careful of wild Pokemon in the grass before the underground pass. Quite convenient.
After around fifteen or twenty minutes at her quick walking speed, she made her way up the stairs from the underground pass and into Saffron City, completely avoiding any Pokemon along the way. Now she just had to remember where the train station was...

Naomi and Hunter chatted a bit as they walked to the train station. They knew their way around Saffron City better than anyone else they knew. Of course, it was easier when you grew up in the city, but still.

"So, should we--"

"No, we start at the beginning--"

"But--"

"I know, but still--"

"Do you have--"

"No, I need to get one in Goldenrod."

Listening to the twins talking was a little unnerving for some people, but they didn't mind. Others thought they were interrupting each other, but in reality, they never needed to finish their sentences. One always knew what the other was thinking. They were so wrapped up in their conversation, though, that neither noticed anyone around them until Naomi ran into someone outside the train station.

"Oh!" She stopped and looked at the other girl. "I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention!"

Sayuri had wandered around, map in hand now, as she searched for the station, which she really had no idea what looked like, when someone accidentally bumped into her. Luckily her Chikorita neither awoke nor fell from her left arm, though mumbled a bit. Even after her slight backwards stumble. No 'ouch' nor 'ow' was said however as she was used to hurting herself at least once a day.
Sayuri straightened up with ease and looked at whoever it was who bumped her. "No. It was my fault for not paying attention where I was walking. I got a bit lost at the entrance and figured my cousin's suggestion of using a map would come in handy, but... Well..." She paused and looked at it again. "...he's a bit of a genius and his writing is hard to read!" She put it away figuring it was kind of useless now and figured maybe one of them knew where she was going. "Know where the train station is?" She felt embarrassed to ask, but what could she do?

Ruben could read his own writing just fine and draw maps himself rather than use the one he was provided with at the lab. Whether or not his cousin could wasn't his problem. He figured she needed to learn these things herself if she was ever going to succeed in life. His maps were quite advanced with each and every detail.

"Uh, yeah," Hunter replied. He opened his mouth again, but Naomi beat him to it.

"You're right in front of it, actually," she said.

"The people who built it were dumb," Hunter added.

"They didn't actually call it the 'train station,'" Naomi continued. She pointed up to the sign that said "Magnet Pad."

"But this is it," Hunter finished. Their way of alternating speech was normal to them, so they didn't notice anymore that they even did it. Naomi gestured to the other girl as Hunter opened the door to the train station and went inside.

"Come on, we're actually headed in as well," she said. "We're headed to Goldenrod. You?"

Sayuri turned her head in each of the twins directions back and forth as they spoke so she wouldn't miss a single word, nodding at each thing said. "I suppose I was looking for that very sign... 'Train station'." She emphasized on the words 'train station' with a slight pause in between each word. "I wouldn't have thought to look for 'Magnet Pad'... Does kind of seem a bit dumb... Especially for newcomers." She paused again and giggled at her thoughts. "Nerds would think it was some kind of magnet convention or something..." Sayuri followed the gesture and entered the building herself. "I'm heading in the same direction as you are. Figured I'd start my second journey in the world I was born in."

Ruben would be heading out soon for supplies, knowing the train his cousin was taking would be on its way out of there. After that he could go ahead and take that next one to where and be completely away from her to do his own thing without bother. The only reason she came was so she could get an idea of what traveling in teams was like. For the past year they'd endured each other. Now it was time to endure life on his own, knowing she couldn't nor wouldn't herself.

"You're from Johto?" Hunter asked. "That's awesome. Is it really different from Kanto?" He and Naomi had never been outside of Kanto before, not even for non-native Pokemon like his Aron and Naomi's Natu. "Naomi and I are going to see about circling around to Violet City and starting the Gym Challenge from there. We've done a lot of Kanto's Gym Challenge." Hunter dug around in his bag and pulled out a badge case. Popping it open, he showed Saiyuri the line of Kanto badges, from the Boulder Badge to the Marsh Badge.

"We've got six badges apiece," Naomi added as she swiped her Magnet Pass to get onto the train. Naomi figured her brother was showing off his badge set. Hunter did the same and went through the turnstile. They both paused to wait for Saiyuri. "I'm Naomi, by the way. My twin is Hunter. We're both from here in Saffron."

"I suppose I am originally from Johto, but never really saw much of it. I was living there with my father since last year before I decided I'd rather start my journey here, having heard my cousin was. Thought we could travel together, but later I found out he'd rather be alone. I suppose with him being a genius he thought I was holding him back..." Sayuri never cared about his company after that. "I also came cause I wanted to meet my mother after so long." That might have been the real reason she hesitated to say at first, but she wasn't embarrassed abouut it. She loved her mother. "My name's Sayuri. I walked here from Celadon." She thought about giving them her cousin's name, but figured it was a bad idea as she searched through her bag then.
After awhile of searching, she flipped out her own ticket along with her badge case as it fell to the ground. It opened to reveal the first three badges. Slightly embarrassing... "Uh... Oops..." She giggled nervously and tried to pick up the case using her free hand with slight difficulty while having to hold the ticket in her mouth and the Chikorita in her other arm still.

Neither Naomi or Hunter said anything about Sayuri only having three badges. Three was nothing to sneeze at, really. It meant she had some skill, at least. Naomi grinned when she saw Saiyuri's Pokemon.

"Aww, your Chikorita is so cute!" she gushed. Hunter just rolled his eyes. He knew how his twin got when she saw cute Pokemon. He stepped onto the train as the doors opened, pulling Naomi along with him. Naomi slipped her wrist from his grip and took a seat next to him. As far as she could tell from the train schedule, the trip to Goldenrod would take a few hours.

"So, do you have a favorite Pokemon type?" Hunter asked Sayuri. "Or do you just try to keep a few different types?"

Sayuri smiled at Naomi as she entered the train herself and sat down. "Thanks. She was given to me by Professor Birch as my starter in New Bark Town. That was before I told him I'd rather start here. He was sort of against me going, but after we discused it for a while he eventually allowed it. With a few conditions..." She was sure to followed whatever conditions he had, but might have missed a few... Or forgot them.
"Anyway." She turned towards Hunter's question. "I've mostly just been interested in Grass types. Though, it seems I've been going after Pokemon with both Grass and Poison types after getting my starter. Just as long as it has the Grass type, it doesn't really matter of the other type it may have if there is one." She wasn't saying any of that to be mean, or say she just liked grass types specifically. She just loved Pokemon that looked like nature. Oddish looking like grass, Gloom as a flower... Things like that.
"What types do you two collect or are you into?"

"I like Steel-types," Hunter replied. "My first Pokemon was an Aron. He's my buddy." He didn't mention his other three Pokemon. It didn't seem necessary. He glanced over at Naomi, waiting for her to speak. She did so without missing a beat.

"I like Psychic-types," Naomi said. "Our parents got me an Eevee when we turned ten. I'm hoping she ends up evolving into an Espeon someday." She also didn't mention her other three Pokemon, but it didn't really matter. There were only so many combinations she could have.

"Those are both great types! I thought about starting off with a water type when I was younger, but then on my tenth birthday I saw little one and fell in love. I've been hooked ever since. My Chikorita's one of those who doesn't really like her Pokeball, but in emergencies she will go in one." Over the past year they were in a few emergencies. Also situations where having her out was dangerous. She wouldn't mention those yet, though.

Ruben figured he was in the clear now to head out on his own journey as he finished his shopping at the Pokemart mall. Then he made his way to the station.
He remembered one of those dangerous situations since he had to save her one time. It was completely coincedential that they met in the same area at the same time.
Made him grin evilly at how klutzy his cousin was. Quite fun to tease later on.
He couldn't think of that now, though as he was still concentrating.

"Eevee and Aron--" Naomi started.

"Don't like public transportation much--" Hunter continued.

"So they stay in while we're on trains and buses and such--"

"But we let them walk freely out on the road."

Neither of the twins much liked taking the train, either, but it was either that or going through Tohjo Falls, and only Naomi had a Water-type, and Staryu didn't know Waterfall.

"Besides," Naomi added, "this way, we won't get separated in the city or anything."

This time Sayuri didn't look back and forth between the twins as they spoke, unable to at the time as they were sitting in a straight line. Unlike them, however, Sayuri didn't mind riding the train or bus, but knew walking was important. She wasn't very active, but tried her best to keep up. Her quick walking speed was kind of a substitute for running.
"My Chikorita would rather stay on my shoulder than walk everywhere, but lately I've been trying to get her to walk more on her own." Sayuri might have spoiled her a bit at the beginning by letting her ride her shoulder and now she was feeling guilty about it. Now she was making it up.

"So, which badges do you have?" Hunter asked. "We managed to get the first six, but we weren't able to get out to Cinnabar. We missed the liner, and Naomi's Staryu isn't big enough to tow both of us across the water. I've heard Blane's tough, though, he trains Fire-types. My Onix would be okay, but my other three would have issues. Naomi's a bit better off, she has her Staryu, but that's the only useful one." Hunter was a bit of a chatterbox, but that was only because Naomi wasn't. Hunter talked enough for the both of them. Maybe it was a side-effect of Naomi starting to train Psychic-types, maybe it was their 'twin-bond', or maybe it was a combination of both, but Hunter always knew what Naomi was going to say, and said it for her.

"We had issues with Sabrina," Naomi pointed out.

"Well, yeah," Hunter agreed, "but you also know Psychic-type weaknesses, and really, I had no clue that Scyther would be so crazy-strong against them, and doesn't your Natu know Nightshade?"

"Yeah," Naomi replied.

"Though it would have been easier if Mom would just lend us her Gengar, but still, we managed," Hunter finished.

"Uh... I really only got as far as Sabrina actually. With her Psychic types being her advantage against my Grass/Poison types I haven't beaten her yet... I didn't want to use Chikorita in that battle either seeing as how Team Rocket was around the area at the time in search of Pokemon to steal. With Chikorita being a rare Pokemon I figured it was wise to keep her hidden then. I've tried to beat Erika in my city, but it always ended up in a draw... So I pretty much only have the badges from Pewter City, Cerulean City and Vermillion City since I had more of an advantage with them." Sayuri was a bit of a chatterbox, too, but sometimes would accidentally repeat something twice in one day without noticing it. Somewhat short term memory, but not serious.
"I probably could have tried again with the ones that were difficult, but after a while it was kind of making me a bit depressed after each time losing. Even with extra training." She'd considered training other types than grass and poison, but never really found one she liked much. She'd thought at one point that Starmie kind of looked like a flower, but more pointy, but never really thought of catching a Staryu yet...

Ruben was waiting at the station now for the next train while doing more research on his laptop, his Wartortle at his side as a lookout kind of. Ruben was admiring his collection of badges himself as he did his research. He had them all and was quite proud of himself as he smirked knowing how many his cousin had. He liked to rub it in her face each time they met. Which wouldn't be for a while now. Next time they meet, he'll have more to show and rub in.

"What about Koga?" Naomi asked. The Soul Badge and the Marsh Badge were often interchangeable in the Challenge order, since many trainers had to decide where to go from Celadon City. Some went over to Saffron, others went down to Fuchsia. Hunter and Naomi both went south to Fuchsia first, and then back north again.

"Oh we had a blast in Koga's gym," Hunter commented. "Naomi smushed them all with her Natu and Exeggute, even though some of Koga's Poison-types are also Bug-types. I didn't have any trouble, my Aron and Magnemite are both immune to poison since they're both Steel-types, but man was that invisible maze fun!"

"Only when you don't trip over the Voltorb traps," Naomi added.

"No biggie," Hunter replied. "Onix took care of them, and your Exeggute did alright, since it's part-Grass."

"Koga? Fuchsia City... I think I tried getting there myself... Couldn't take the bicycle path, as I didn't have a bike and all the rental ones were taken already. My cousin got the last one..." That slightly angered her as he only thought about himself and getting ahead at any cost. The anger never lasted long and soon enough it was no long there as she continued to remember her experience. "I thought about going the long way around through Saffron and then Lavender Town and got as far as I could only to find out that the bridge that also went to Vermillion City was blocked off due to construction or so they said... They sent me back to Lavender Town... Figured I get to that gym later, but must have forgotten about it. Now I feel slightly guilty for not trying again to get there..." Sayuri was blushing slightly at her forgetfulness.
"I for sure would have given it my all if I'd tried at that gym. Even with Chikorita despite Rockets being around everywhere still..." She had that determined look in her eyes as her arms were bent upward with fists to show it.

"We know what it's like to have rare Pokemon around," Hunter reminded Sayuri. "Naomi has an Eevee, remember? They're about as rare as it gets. And our dad has a Blaziken that he raised from a Torchic. You can only get those as starters out in Hoenn." He grinned. "Our parents can get their hands on almost any Pokemon, though. That's how they got me my Aron, and Naomi her Eevee. Though we kinda wonder what would happen if they got a Beldum or a Bronzor or something. Those are both Psychic-Steel, we would both want them."

"I want a Beldum," Naomi added. "They're hard to find, but totally worth it." She grinned dreamily.

"No, what she really wants is a Metagross," Hunter said to Sayuri. "Though I don't blame her, Metagross are awesome."

"And I want a Meditite," Naomi said. "To evolve it into a Medicham. It's like the perfect Pokemon, it's Psychic-Fighting, so it's not weak against Dark-types."

"An Empoleon would be amazing," Hunter added. "It's Water-Steel, by all rights that combination shouldn't even exist, but it does and it cuts the Steel weakness to Fire." Clearly, both twins paid attention in school when they were taught about type-matching. Naomi even carried around a guidebook that had all of the important information, just in case, although she planned on getting a new one in Goldenrod City. The one she had was specialized for Kanto, so she needed a new one for Johto.

Sayuri never really paid much attention in school about types and all that, but she read about them at home in her own room. During school she'd get most of the answers right when asked them because of that solo studying. As long as her cousin didn't answer first, being in the same class that year... She had to stop thinking about him and just enjoy herself.
"I've always wanted an Eevee so I could evolve it into a Leafeon someday. It's so cute! And a Grass type. But, yeah, coming across one in the wild is hard, probably even impossible. Unless there's a place they like to live in Johto..." She tried to remember reading anything about that. She only heard about Leafeon from her cousin. Knowing him, he wouldn't lie about something like that as it was a rare Pokemon only able to evolve in one place in the world. Something he would be proud of, knwoing such knowledge at his age.
"I was only able to get Chikorita and come here thanks to the professor... She's my only rare and the only one around this area. Maybe not so much there... I've heard they can be found in the wild every now and then."
She thought of what other Pokemon she'd wanted as she heard about theirs. "Those do sound pretty cool. You're pretty lucky to get which ever Pokemon from whatever region you want. I'm kind of jealous..." Sayuri figured she should get another guide book, too and have her Pokegear upgraded. Or at least working again. Since she started her journey here it wasn't working properly. She wasn't sure why so she grabbed a guide book just in case.
"Right now I'm aiming to get a Bellossom as a start. I heard you can only obtain a Sunstone in Johto so I'm waiting for that day when I can get one myself." She was determined for that, too.

"We didn't get to keep any of the really cool rares that our parents got," Hunter said. "But we got to play with some of them when we were kids." He grinned. "I guess that's kind of how we figured out which type we liked best."

"There are more Psychic-types than Steel-types, though," Naomi said, giving her brother a friendly shove. "Which means I win." Hunter just rolled his eyes.

"So, what other Pokemon do you have?" he asked Sayuri. "Besides your Chikorita? I have a Scyther, an Onix, and a Magnemite, and I want to go look for a Pineco when we get to Johto." He gestured to his sister. "Naomi has a Natu, a Staryu, and an Exeggute, and I figure you heard that she wants a Meditite."

"Hunter wants to evolve his Onix and Scyther into Steelix and Scizor," Naomi added. "I want to evolve my Staryu into Starmie." She and Hunter both knew that after the evolutions, the Pokemon would all be the twins' preferred types. Steelix and Scizor were clearly part-Steel-types, and Starmie was part-Psychic. "And the Pineco that he wants would evolve into Forretress."

She still thought them to be lucky, having the experience to see that many before they could go out on their journey. She only knew what she wanted to train after seeing a hoppip in the Johto "So far I have a male Bellsprout I plan to evolve into a Victreelbel someday and also two Oddish, one for each gender for when they evolve. I've always figured Vileplume looked more male and Bellossom looked more female, having the dress." Most of them would be part Poison afterward so maybe she wasn't just going for Grass types after all. Although... "I'm thinking when I get to Johto, however, the first Pokemon I want to catch there is a Hoppip. They're so cute being both the grass and flying type which would be a nice addition to my party. I saw one when I was younger while living there and it inspired me. Probably why I decided to become a grass Pokemon trainer." She'd work on her Eevee dream later. Right now she knew to go step by step. Next step, Hoppip. They float with the wind and she was told it would be a challenge to obtain one.
When she heard about the difficult evolutions they were planning she figured they had to know some things... "That sounds challenging. You'll need two Metal Coats for that. They're hard to come by... And usually people need to gamble for them... As for Water Stones and the others... The Pokemart mall doesn't sell them anymore... The trainers there were taking advantage of that and therefore they got banned from being sold there." She had a challenge herself, having to find a few stones herself.
