Dude, you should check out Dope. They're industrial metal, (and sometimes other stuff) but they're hecka good. Their lyrics are sometimes lacking, but I think their message is pretty much to be yourself and feel good about it. XD they're my fave band right now, along with Rob Zombie and Soulfly

Dope's alright. Gets repetitive pretty quickly in my opinion but Sex Machine makes for a damn good party song.

Let's see...New bands...

Ill Nino - My favorite band, latin metal
GWAR - Another favorite, they're shock rock and thus not for the easily offended
Sevendust
Ekotren
Anew Revolution
Dirge Within
Mobile Deathcamp
Mastodon
Breed 77
Isis
Kylesa
Baroness
Between the Buried and Me
Ghost Brigade
Giant Squid
High on Fire
Galactus 77
Powerman 5000
Orgy
Megadeth
Iron Maiden
Black Sabbath
Dio
Devildriver
Turisas
Soulfly - As the lovely poster above me mentioned already :)
Trivium
Mercyful Fate
Cynic
Slow Roosevelt
Haji's Kitchen
Deftones
Faith No More
Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards
Mutha's Day Out
The Offspring
Priestess
Wednesday 13

Dude I love A Skylit Drive, sometimes it feels like I'm the only one thats heard of them since none of my friends listen to them.

I also love Pierce the Veil, Sevendust, A Static Lullaby, A Day to Remember, Attack! Attack!, and Sleeping with Sirens.

No Trophy Scars mentioned in a Post-Hardcore thread?

Also After The Burial (in the first two albums) and Veil of Maya tend to blow every deathcore band out of the water. Honestly those are the only two good ones I know, every other deathcore band I've heard is pretty copypaste. As for actual metal:
