Alright, so I bought a brand new wii a few weeks ago
but never really got around to use it.
I was waiting for a Negima game I bought off ebay.
It's my favorite anime too, practically the only reason I bought
the wii.
I waited for weeks, and checked the mailbox everyday for this game.
It finally got here today and I hooked up my wii when I inserted the
disk, it can't be read. It reads my other games just not this one.
It was imported from Japan, and I think that's the problem.

Is there anyway to fix this?
Or can anyone tell me the problem?

It's because the game is imported from Japan, I'm afraid.

I think that's what broke the Wii in our house too. The one in our house was brought back from America, and I took it over to a friend's, who uses a Taiwanese version. We used it to play those 2P games. It took a while but we finally got it working. But now it won't react anymore when I brought it back home, and it's been broken ever since.

It's something called a region lock. It's to prevent non-region games being played on said regions system.
If I wanted to play the Japanese version of the 3DS with an American release of Ocarina of Time 3D, it wouldn't work because it's locked. :|
