Raven had left Viviyan in there room to relax while he went to go and get some coffee for them. He was just about to step foot into the kitchen when he felt someone come into his home and he frowned. Slowly he waited for his old friend to come in and then smiled when he saw him, "hey, what can I do for you Derek." he said as he poured some coffee into a cup and drank it. It was black, just how he always liked it.

"I was just coming in to check on you two, how are your powers? I hear they took almost too much..." Derek asked softly and kindly as he spoke to his old friend and smiled at him kindly. He was a very powerful spirit, one of the most powerful and not even the council would touch him... he was the oldest spirit... well one of them and he was one of the most respected at that. He had been working to restore Raven's reputation and so far it was working.

Raven laughed when he heard him and continued to drink his coffee. "yeah, they nearly drained me dry and would of it viviyan hadn't of come." he said and you could tell he cared for her with just how he said her name. He said her name as if the name was a treasure and thr person attached to it was a god. "but they are returning slowly and we are doing fine. We are happy and I don't see why we shouldn't be." he said as he looked at Derek.

"I'm actually a little surprised that you want to be so close to a human, you know that the two relms times move differently right? Has she not yet started aging quicker?" Derek asked curiously and really was surprised that Raven wanted to keep a human so close and love her for her body would age quicker here and that meant that her age literally changed and she would get older faster... meaning she would die sooner then later.

Something flashes in ravens eyes and henlooked at Derek, "so far she is fine. I have been able to stop the effects of this wold on her a little but she is aging." he said and you could tell he hated ot. Aging ment losing her and he didn't want to. "I have been trying to figure out how to cancel the effects of this world on her but I can't find anything." he said softly and then looked at Derek, "and when your in love being close to that person is the only thing that matters."

"Yes... the side effects of this world would be very hard on a humans body... it is why the books that talked about humans and spirits being together were destroyed though I am glad that you managed to have one. You do know there is one way to stop her aging... if you're willing to take that path with her or not is up to the two of you though." Derek said softly meaning a permanent spell that every few knew of that changed a human to a spirit... of course the council and the ancients knew about it and he was fairly certain that Raven did as well.

Raven sighed when he heard him and nodded, "i know, I have been thinking about that. But I wasn't sure how she would feel about that. I mean she has seen the dark side of being a spirit so I am not sure if she would want to be one." he said and then the thought of her dieing made him afraid. "but I think it is time that I bring it up to her and let her decide for herself. If she decideds to go threw with it then I willdo it for her." he said

Derek nodded some at this then offered Raven a smile. "Well, I can help since I have the power to turn a human to spirit. I am sure that once you tell her about this she will want to be like you... well be a spirit anyway. Though I would also tell her that if she stays human that her life would be sped up... every year she is here is another few additional years on her bodies age." he said softly hoping that Raven knew that and also that she would accept this since he could tell that Raven would be devastated if she every were to die.

Raven nodded and knew that since he was here that he should go talk to Viviyan. He then looked at Derek, "well there is only one way to know if she wants to be a spirit and that is to ask." he said as he walked out towards his room, motioning for Derek to follow. ONce he was at his bedroom door he knocked on it and peeked inside. "viviyan, we have a guest." he said and then opened it fully so that they could walk in.

Viv looked up from where she had been reading in bed and blinked some when she saw the male and right away knew that he was quite a powerful spirit. "Hello." she smiled some sitting up a bit more and setting her book down after marking the page. She was in her normal clothes, just resting was all... she still wasn't back to full health though she was close... she had just been tired lately was all.

Raven smield as he walked over to her and sat down next to her, "you two never were introduced. Viviyan this is Derek, spirit of the earth. Derek this is Viviyan." he said as he took Viviyans hand gently and smiled. Derek nodded and he gave a smile to her, "it is nice to met you." he said and then looked at Raven. Raven nodded and then looked at Viviyan, "we wanted to talk to you about something. You see since your going to be staying in the spirit world things are different, your going to start to age faster and we would like to fix that." he said as he looked at her and Derek nodded. "by fixing we mean to make you a spirit as well, what do you think of that?" he asked.

Viv looked between the two then stared at Raven in shock. "I-I would be like you? But... wait... if I age faster here does that mean that my family back home does too?" she asked looking at the two a bit worriedly since she really did care about her family and tried to go see them when her and Raven could.

Raven shook his head, "no, it is only this world. Time moves slightly different here but nothing back on earth is affected." he said as he looked at her. "so your family will be fine but your home wouldn't be on earth anymore. it would be with us, here in the spirit world." he said as he looked at her.

"Okay... but would I be able to visit them at all? I don't want to just vanish on them." Viv asked softly and worriedly showing that she did care a great deal for her family... but she was okay with staying here... she already considered this her home but she still wanted to go and see her family every now and again.

Raven nodded, "yes, you would be able to visit them but you wouln'dt be able to tell them what you are." he said as he looked at her and wrapped a arm around her. Derek nodded, "yes, it isn't permited for spirits to show them selves to a mortal unless it has to so you cant tell them." he said as he looked at the two.

Viv looked at them then nodded some as she leaned into Raven a bit thinking. "Okay... I'm fine with that then, but what would I be? I mean, what type of spirit?" she asked curiously as she looked between the two though then just looked at the male since she could tell that he was the one that would be turning her into a spirit.

Raven kept her close to him and looked at derek. "you will be what your body choices. No one can tell you what kind of spirit you are, it is just what feels right to you." Derek said as he looked at her. He then rubbed his hands together, "now then, when should we begin? I can start this up right now or we can wait." he said as he looked at the two.

"Okay... one question before I answer though... does it hurt?" Viv asked and really wanted to know so she could prepare herself better for what was to come. She had a feeling at the very least she would be passed out for a day or two while her body adjusted and changed to whatever spirit she would become, she really didn't mind whatever she was... so long as she got to stay with Raven.

(ow like I said on there, I think that she should be out for a day or so XP just to add a little worry for Raven XD and what do you think about Midnight? I think the council should call for her and like have a meeting with her about her stance with Viv since Viv would no longer be human... what do you think?)

Derek shook his head, "nope, doesn't hurt at all, all you feel is a slight shift." he said as he looked at her and smiled. He then moved closer and rubbed his hands again. Slowly they started to glow and he looked at her. "you ready for this? I haven't done this in a long time so I forget what the side affects are to being changed." he said as he looked at her. Raven got worried but just kissed viviyans cheek gently.

((okay and yeah, I like the idea of that. But what would happen to midnight? Would the council assign her to go back to earth or stay with viviyan))

(she would be aloud to stay though she has to be the one to check in with the council every few weeks about Raven and Vivian even though Viv isn't a human anymore XP )

Viv listened to Derek and got a little worried though sighed some and nodded a bit leaning into Raven some and waiting for whatever the earth spirit was going to do. She was a little scared but at the same time she was calm and wanted this, she wanted to stay with Raven as long as possible. She had the worst feeling that she would pass out after this though she wasn't sure why... she guessed the change on her body would probably have to take place while she was asleep like most changes did.

Raven held viviyan close and before Derek layed a hand on her he kissed her lips gently. He then whispered, "I love you." into her ear and he then nodded at Derek. Derek leaned down and placed his glowing hands onto her head. The light slowly passed into her body and made her body seem to glow with energy. After a little while Derek pulled away but she still glowed. "now it is up to her." he said simply and raven nodded.

After a few minutes of Derek having his hands on her and the energy passing through her she felt herself start to fall into unconsciousness. She could feel the powers still working through her and slowly making changes to her body though it would take at least a day and a half for the changes to be seen and for her new form to appear. "Would you like me to stay here while you wait for her to awaken?" Derek asked softly after he had pulled away and remembered that this was a side effect and that she would be out for awhile as her body changed and transformed into a spirit form, though he wouldn't be sure what she was until she awoke.

Raven nodded as he looked at her and kept her close to him. "if you have the time then yes, I would like that." he said and then gently layed down Viviyan. He wrapped her in the blankets and watched her carefully. He then looked at Derek, "how long is she going to be like this for?" he asked since he wanted ot make sure that it wouldn't be as long at the time before.

"I do... I'll know if anything's going on on Earth when it happens so only at those times will I need to leave." Derek said softly then thought a bit. "It depends on her body and how it takes the changes... I would say maybe a day or two though... that's about the normal time." he said softly as he thought a bit though figured that that's about how long it would take.

Raven nodded, "that is fine, I will have to leave to do my job as well." he said as he looked at him. He then looked back at Viviayn and gently stroked her head. "and is there any other side affects. Will she feel pain or anything?" he said since he didn't want her to.
