Zyrone soon texted Eric asking, 'You still hanging with the brat?'

Nathan thought a bit before answering. "There's a haunted mansion down the street that I was planning on going to check out, did you want to come with?"

(I always try to say nite before heading off so no one is waiting on me lol)

'So what if I am, better than you mr stalker' he textd back in reply.

"Well, sounds cool, I don't think I've been to any haunted things really, and if it gets us out and moving about then I will do anything" he wasn't one who liked to sit inside alot, he loved to explore which he did alot and even got yelled at for putting himself in danger.

(I might be on and off, I was gonna do some yard work, I'm making extra doing that lol :O)

Nathan grinned and slipped off his bed. "Awesome." He replied and slowly opened his door. "C'mon, I know a short cut to get us there quicker." Nathan smirked. Lexi looked up at and smiled a little before going back to her house work.

Eric got up and followed him outside to the shortcut so that they may get there faster than normal apparently. He wasn't sure why but this was a bit exciting t him to hang with somoene other than his own kind.

Upon reaching the reaching the mansion he came to a slow stop. You could tell the mansion was old and ready to crumble but it still stood with pride, a large fence with a gate surrounded the property. His ear twitched when he opened the creaky old gate.

Eric stayed close to him, Lexi would kill Eric if he let anything happen to her brother. "Just remember to be careful" Eric replied looking up at the house while he walked.

Nathan glanced up at Eric before giving a small nod and continued down the path to the front door which opened like there was someone behind it but no one was seen. "Creepy..." He muttered quietly and entered the old mansion.

(you're welcome to help with making the haunted mansion scary if you so wish :D)

The outside of the house was big, possibly two stories and an attic, maybe even a basement, but, the place surely wasn't that stable. It would be possible for a floor to cave in, or the ceiling peices to fall with their extra weight. The place looked to be built during the 1700s and hadn't been used for awhile now, maybe more than 10 years since the last old man died of a heart attack, after that no one tried selling the place. Torn curtains, dusty broken glass here and there. The yard was a wreck, if it wasn't so old Eric would turn it into an old hang out knowing hardly no one would want to go inside.

The door slammed shut behind them and locked them inside. An evil laugh followed by a scream echoed throughout the mansion and Nathan looked around. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all... He thought to himself.

"Why does this seem like a prank about to go bad?" Eric asked hearing a bunch of slams to other rooms, the windows had shutters that kept slamming and opening repeatdly like the doors. Then they stopped, inside was dusty and dirty with lots of cobwebs, you coul see the wood falling apart and even rotting. There was also a bad stench coming from below them. "Come on lets just keep moving"

Nathan gave an uneasy nod and continued down the path, his ears down.

Eric wasn't watching where they were going as they walked around and one of the floors underneath them, a small hole of it gave out and it created a bigger one as they were in caught in the middle of the rotting wood. They fell into the hole, "shit"Eric freaked and suddenly was able to grab Nathan as they fell landing at the bottom with a loud thud. A mechanical evil laughter was heard not too far away but it had echoed making it hard to pinpoint.

Nathan held in a yell of fear as they fell and felt his heart stop when Eric grabbed him before they hit the bottom. His ears twitched then lowered again when the laughter was heard. "We gotta get out of here before something really bad happens." He muttered quietly as calm as he could be at this point.

(I kinda wanted something surprising yet also awkward a bit)

Nathan was still lying on Eric as that is how he tried to keep him safe, Eric got a few scrapes and soon they would heal slowly, faster than some humans though thats for sure. "First thing we need to do is get up, Nathan" Eric spoke sitting up with Nathan as they were already so close which was not a good thing for Eric or Nathan at that.

Nathan blinked and slowly got off of Eric before standing. He managed to hide the embarrassed blush he had from realizing how close they were like it wasn't even there.

Eric soon stood up wondering what they had landed on, when he looked down he freaked and stepped back grabbing Nathan as they got off what they landed on. There was a couple dead bodies below them, once he had looked up at the broken floor above, it seemed that the wood fixed itself like it never did happen. "Okay I am starting to hate this alot now"

Nathan stared at the dead bodies and shivered in his skin. He bit his lip when remember what his sister told him and took a couple steps back. They were lucky that they weren't zombies or something, knock on wood.... Nathan thought to himself.

"Okay we really need to find a way out now, I agree" Eric spoke bumping into the wall but edged away from it as if he thought it could be something else, when he turned, nothing was there but some hissing sounds came from all around them. Eric could probably get them out of there with two different ways of escaping, but, teleportation takes ALOT out of a person, and as far as the other option, he couldn't risk it with Nathan being there.

It would be almost like a blood rage that he would do whatever he had to just to get out and to safety but that he might hurt Nathan stopped that idea dead in its tracks, the stairs were near and some broken, cracked, and a few even missing. "Head for the stairs" Eric ordered pretty much.

Nathan nodded and did as he what he was told, heading for the stairs.

They headed up the steps hearing noises behind them, soon a ghost that looked like a messed up bloody dead clown showed up in front of them though Eric hadn't seen it, he was half dead but that didn't mean he was paying very much attention as they kept on moving.

Nathan saw the ghost and bit his tongue to keep from screaming, the spirits in which were protecting him surrounded him as he he followed Eric.

The ghost along with a few shadowy like creatures were trying to keep them there forever. That or the two would give their lives and take on what they would want to do by haunting others. Eric took Nathan's hand to keep him close to him, he hadn't realised about any of the undead yet he would be unsure what would happen now that they were to the top, he opened the door, it looked fine to walk on but Eric thought of another idea rather than walking.

Nathan refused to look behind himself, he knew he was protected; in more ways than one. He flinched when he heard hissing that wasn't coming from Eric. Nathan never really realized that Eric had his hand to keep him close.

Zyrone got a bad vibe and cursed himself before heading towards the haunted mansion. 'You guys alright?' He texted Eric, actually worried about them.

Eric felt his phone go off making him jump "Oh-!" Eric almost shouted freaking out, he took his phone out at the last moment 'U and ur stupid timing'

'Sorry.. Seriously though, are you guys alright?' He texted back, not really in a rush to get there yet.

Nathan slipped from his grip and trailed off when he hears singing. That sounds... Like mom... He thought to himself as he followed the sound of the singing women.
