"No I am not doing anything alas today why do you ask?" Sara ask Sam yet went quite after hearing his cell phone go off. yet she would understand if he has go back to work. he is a doctor how save other people lives.

"I was thinking we could hang out for the day," Sam said as he smiled but then looked at his cell phone, "on second thought, I'll have to take a rain-check on that. Sorry, Sandra, looks like I have been called in to work today."

Sam sighed and hugged Sandra as he got up to walk out the door with her.

Sandra hug's Sam back yet gave him a quick kiss on the lip's. yet blush's the hole time since this was her first time kissing him ever. "Sam I Love You just be careful okay? we can make a day out of it next time you have off and when I have off. maybe this Saturday are next Friday?" Sandra ask Sam she was blushing like crazy. she had meant what she just said to him heck she would admit. that she worry's about Sam all the time do to his rare skin conduction and the rare I eye color he has.

Sam smiled happily, although he was surprised at first and kind of blushed. Then he just realized she liked him just as much as he liked her. Then he was thinking they loved each other very much. That is when he was smiling with a sincere gladness in his heart.

"I love you too, Sandra," Sam said as he meant it.

Sam held Sandra in his arms and hugged her again and whispered in her ear, "I'll be all right dear, nothing bad will happen."

Sam let go and also told her, "Ok, and don't forget about the fundraiser next Friday."

He then walked away with a smile on his face.

"I won't forget about it Sammy!" She call's out to him then start's to walk off. to go to the store since she like's to walk so much all over town unless she is in a dress. are something that was slightly fancy and cost a lot of money.

Sam rushed home and changed into his work clothes. Then he to the hospital and had a case waiting for him there. It was a seven year old boy crying in pain and his skin seem like it was sun burnt. Sam wondered why they gave this case to him, he wasn't a dermatologist and nor was that his specialty. Then he read the chart and realized this wasn't no ordinary sun burn.

The boy looked at Sam and kind of afraid of him. That is when the boy screamed for his mommy. The boy's mom comforted her son and asked the doctor, "What is happening to my baby, doctor?"

"Well, I'll have to run a few tests and then I'll be able to give a diagnosis," Sam said as had empathy for the seven year old boy, "Although I would like to ask you and your son a few questions."

"That's fine by me Dr. Hoffmen," The mother said as she looked at the Doctor's name tag, and then she said to her son, "Junior, you don't have to be afraid of Dr. Hoffmen."

Sam examined the boy first and then asked a few questions. He found out this has been a reoccurring problem for a while now. That every time the boy is exposed to the sun, his skin gets burnt. He also looked at the boy's eyes and they weren't sensitive to light. After running a few tests, Sam came back out and had some news for the mother and her seven year old son.

"Well, good news is your son will be ok," Sam said, "although his skin is just sensitive to the sun. He'll have to wear long sleeves, and cover up as much as he can when he is in the sun."

The mother was relieved although saddened by this. Junior sighed and said, "I'll miss playing tag with my friends."

Sam looked at Junior and said with a smile, "You can still play tag with your friends, Junior."

"How would you know?" Junior said, "You're a doctor, even if you're not like the ones on the show mommy watches while..."

Junior's mom yank's Junior's ear and told him not to talk about that show. She also told him they'll talk when they get home.

Sam took off his gloves and Junior saw Sam's hands. Junior was shocked, he couldn't believe what he saw. The sun was so hot today, that it went right threw Sam's gloves and his hands were burnt per se.

"Does it hurt?" Junior asked Sam as he felt bad for saying the comment he said earlier.

"Only a little," Sam replied as he put his gloves back on, "Don't let nothing stop you from reaching your dreams, Junior. Remember that..."

Sam wrote a a script or two and gave it to Junior's mom. Then he walked out of the examination room and the nurse came in to do the discharge.

Sam went to see who his next patient will be. While looking at the big stack of charts, Sandra was on his mind. One of Sam's co-workers from x-ray joked around saying, "So you found a wife, huh? Cause you are fly now... haha..." Sam just brushed the joke off.

Sandra walk's around the store while buying food first that would not melt. in the heat since it was so hot out today. she did not want to buy any frozen foods at all but wanted. to go in a dress shop to look at all of the formal dress's wanting to pick out. a new one for this Friday night heck her own Big sister had been laughing. on the phone saying sounds like you found a husband. just get married to him all ready mom wants more grand kids.

Sam grabbed another chart and skimmed through it quickly. He then went into the patient's room and started to ask them a few questions. Afterwards, he examined them. Then he told the patient it was just a mild cold and come back in three days if it gets worse.

After seeing a few cases, Sam had a break and he went into the cafeteria and then into the doctor's lounge. He bought a light lunch and started to eat. Then one of his co-workers sat next to him. It was Ron from X-ray.

"So, when is the wedding..." Ron asked jokingly

"Ron, how is your son doing?" Sam asked as he derailed the subject.

"Junior is doing well, and Kayla is growing into a woman. At least she doesn't like that vampire stuff," Ron said as he munched on a sandwich, "but seriously though, when is the wedding. I know you have a woman or been seeing one at least. Is it that librarian?"

"No, Ron... It wasn't that librarian. I think she is engaged anyways." Sam replied as he drank some Dr. Pepper, "She's a friend from middle school."

Sandra had stop at one dress shop but was tolled to bring her. thing's home first since they did not allow food in the store. so she heads on home on the bus once getting home. she puts the stuff away then her cell phone go's off it was her big sister. "So Sandra what is going on uh? come on tell me little sister." Lanny ask her sister over the phone in a happy voice that was preppy.


"Lanny I'm not telling you this time since you will. only talk about it nonstop to Mother are Father. I got to go bye bye now." Sandra says quickly hanging up on her big sister. then start's to head on back outside go back in to town look for a dress.

"That librarian was kind of hot though, a bit strange but hot," Ron said as he drank some Sprite, "if I wasn't married, I would ask that librarian out. Then again she is going to be married to. She didn't look like the type to have kids anyways."

Sam just drank some more Dr. Pepper and then took some medicine.

"Kayla asked about you," Ron said as he smiled, "what about you come over for dinner together with your girlfriend if you like or just you? Our fam wouldn't mind."

Sam just nodded and continued to eat his lunch.

"Ron, how is Shelia?" Sam asked as he wiped his face with a paper towel.

"Wifey is doing well," Ron replied as munched on his sandwich, "she asked about you too. She keeps thinking your name is Edward for some reason. Maybe it's because her niece nags her about that vampire junk too munch."

Sam smirked and got up from his seat, "Well see you around, Ron."

"Later, Dr. Hoffmen," Ron said as he continued to eat his lunch.

As Sam walked away, he wondered if Sandra would mind having dinner with his co-worker.

By now Sandra had got on and off of the buss for the 2 en 3rd time today. she walk's off to the dress store quickly hoping. to find something nice on sale when she walk's in. one of the lady's ask her how she could help her out today. Sandra explains she is looking for a formal dress go to a charity fun raiser. but dose not want the dress to look to fancy are cost to much.


The woman smile's hearing this form the lady looking to buy something. she walk's her over to the section of the store with dress's for sale. telling Sandra to take her time pointing out most dress's were 40 to 60% off. for a gymnastic teacher she was skinny yet. dislike her own height being so short then Sam. after all he is maybe a good 4inch's taller then her.


After a few hours she pick's out a lovely dress that fit her hole body. just the right way it had taken over 15try's. of other dress's till she pick out this one it was formal yet pretty enough. to show off her curves slightly,her hips was not showing off for once. the dress was at a great price for being 60% off in a color she. hope Sam would like on her yet blush's just thinking about it.

A few hours later after Sam signed out, he texted Sandra to see how she was doing.

"Are you going to the fundraiser?" Ron asked as he munched on some sunflower seeds, "If so, bring your woman with ya'."

"You'll meet her in due time, Ron," Sam said as he put his phone back in his pocket, "in due time. Anyways I'll have dinner with you and your fam another time. See you later, Ron."

"Take it easy, Sam," Ron said as he walked over to his car.

Sam nodded, walked over to his black SUV and got in.

Sandra hear's her phone go off in her pocket she dig's it out. while heading to the check out with the dress in her arms. it had been a text massage form Sam she text him back. saying she was doing well getting some thing's done in town right now. but she had not put down what she is up to to get ready. for there Friday night date,her new dress was covered with. some flower's that have fake gem stone in the middle of them. now she need to get some shoes are get some jewelry to match the dress. since the color was a soft sky blue like the sky,the flowers were light pink with red jem stones.

Sam smiled as he read the text and then he text back that he loved her. He started the car and drove off to his house. When he got there, he parked his SUV and got out of the car. He then walked up to his front door, unlocked it and went inside. Sam put his jacket on the coat rack and went to his home office for a minute or two. He decided to check his e-mail. Sam was also checking his stocks, he sighed as some of his stocks weren't doing well. Sam then remembered it could be worse.

Sam then went to the mail box and picked up his snail mail. He went back to the home office to sort it. He notice the letter he always get from the charity he always donates too. He read the letter and typed in a web address as he did that. He also kept his phone close just in case Sandra called.

Sandra text Sam back saying that she Loved him too as she check's out. then walk's off to a close by shoe store to look. for a pair of sliver shoes are maybe a pair of white ones would. work out with the dress she would ask the person at the counter at the shoe store. she takes her time in the shoe store but notice she did not like. most of the shoes they had in stock so she start's to head on home. she had forgotten she owned a pair of white shoe's. that would go well with the dress and have some jewelry that match's the dress. she sends quick text to Sam asking him if he wants to come over. to her house sometime for dinner next week since they.


Going to be with each other on Friday night for the charity fundraiser. hopefully the dress was formal enough to not look to fancy. if so she would be embarrassed by her own choice in said dress. the woman had to try pick something different out for her own self. but when she got home she check her house over. since she only ride's the buss to do earned's on her day off.

Sam was typing away on the computer replying to a few e-mails and Facebook posts. He then replied to Sandra's text message saying, "Sure thing, what time and what day?" Sam then opened up a little package from his penpal. It was of some trinkets from his penpal's home land in Europe. Sam smiled and then started instant messaging his penpal. He knew his penpal since high school, but only on the internet though. They hadn't met in person yet.

Sam went to his closet for a minute to see which suit he is going to wear. Then he decided which suit he wanted to wear. He looked at it and wondered if it needed dry cleaning. An hour or two later, Sam went to the kitchen and started cooking dinner.

Once Sandra got home she text him back putting down in the massage."How about Wednesday around 6pm? but let me know what you can't eat please I don't want to make you sick." she then quickly put the dress away in to her closet. then heads back down straits to go cook something up for dinner. the young woman pick out some buck wheat noddles. using some fresh vegetables even some deer meat that her friend gave her. she need to use it soon before it would go bad before next week.

Sam then text back, "I can eat almost anything. I just don't drink alcohol." Then Sam finished cooking his dinner and started eating it. After he finished eating he got a message from his pen pal. His pen pal said that he will be coming to the United States and he would like to meet Sam when he gets there. Sam was excited. Then it dawned to Sam, he never seen a picture of his pen pal. It didn't matter to Sam though, although if Sam was to pick him up at the air port... Who would he look for?

Sam sighed happily and then realized it will be great that his pen pal will get a chance to met Sandra.

Sandra got his text and only giggled since she dislike the drinking them as well. but started to plan out what she can make for next week. while finish cooking her food then start to eat it slowly. having a pad of paper by her side as well a pen to write thing's down. the woman kept thinking till picking out something. she could make even if Sam bring's one more person with him. Sandra could make french bread pizza with a salad to start with maybe. a cheese cake for dessert a home made one like a chocolate with strawberry's on top. it would take two day's to make but she did not mind doing that.

Three days or so later, Sam got a message that his pen pal is at the airport and that he would like to meet Sam for lunch. Sam was going to ask Sandra if she was free, but then he remembered she might be prepping her students for a competition or teaching her new students. Sam was thinking of taking Ron, but Ron was at work today. Sam called his Pen pal to let him know he'll meet him at his hotel, since there is a nice restaurant near by.

Sam called text Sandra and asked how she was doing. Meanwhile Sam's Pen pal is checking his e-mail.

Sandra smile's while teaching her new students some basic moves. once getting off of the balance beam she tell's them. to give it a try but don't try any of the hard stuff yet she'd be watching them. she text Sam back saying she is doing just fine today. yet tolled him that she had like there date the week before. then put's her cell phone back in to her gym bag. teach her students till there parents came to get them go home for the day. she think about going to get some lunch by a cafe near a hotel close by.

Sam drives to the hotel where his pen pal is at, and waited downstairs in the lobby of the hotel for his pen pal. Sam was reading a newspaper that was left behind by someone. Sam's pen pal came down the elevator. Sam put the news paper down and then he got up for a bit. He saw a guy that was about his height. Sam wasn't to sure the guy that came out of the elevator was his pen pal or not, since he never saw his pen pal's picture.

"Remy?" Sam said as he walked over to him.

"Ah... Samuel," Remy said as he smiled as he extended his hand out to shake Sam's hand, "It's nice to meet you. Hope you're not too surprised."

"Not at all, my friend," Sam said as he took off his gloves and shook Remy's hand, "It's nice to see you in person."

Remy smiled and they walked over to the restaurant near the hotel. Sam looked at the line outside the restaurant and decided to go to the cafe.

"I hope you don't mind the cafe, Remy," Sam said, "The restaurant is packed."

"That's all right, Sam," Remy said, "I came here to avoid crowds anyways."

Sandra drives her car past by the hotel seeing something was going on. it must be the lunch rush at the restaurant right now. once parking her car she check's on her hair really quick. thank goodness it all ways stayed in a nice pony tail on day's like this one. the woman slowly get's out of her car and lock's it up. before heading inside of the cafe to wait in line. to get some lunch at lest after this she had no more class's to teach. that would give Sandra time to check on the cheese cake.

As well enough time to relax before starting to make the french bread pizza. yet try's to think of what she wants to eat for lunch. heck she like come to this cafe when forgetting to bring. something for lunch to eat are pack her own at lest this cafe had good fair prices.

Sam was talking to Remy and then noticed Sandra. He text her to let her know which table he was at in the cafe, but then decided to come over to where she was at.

"Hey Sandra," Sam said as he smiled at her, "my pen pal from France is here."

A random group of teenage girls see Remy and they have heart eyes for Remy. Remy looks at them, and then goes back to reading on his iPad. The teenage girls still stare at him with heart eyes though. Remy doesn't even notice them that much.

Sandra had gotten the text message quickly but before. she could even start to text Sam back he had all ready. come by her table she had been sitting down at for only a good 5 minutes. "Hello Sammy I was just about to text you back oh. I did not even know you had a pen pal. all the way form France hopefully he likes it here in the states." she says to him but would admit about her own dreams. in due time to him when the time is right to do so.


But for now maybe they can all have lunch with each other if his pen pal. would not mind that idea to much since he was here. to see Sam so they could get to know each other maybe? okay so Sandra never try to have pen pal before in her hole life. but it did sound like some type of fun. but wonder what his pen pal's name was? thinking about it in her head but yet did not. try to kiss the good doctor out in public like this heck she. would still blush when being teased by his coworker she had met.
