Many years ago in the elven kingdom there was the royal family the king of the elven kingdom is at war and the queen helping ruling the kingdom while the king is away. they have one child who will be king in a few years. Next to the castle was the chuch and the high priest helps the queen but the priest knows of the child and would not go near the boy until a day they would meet and also of the love they have.

Bio: Lin is the high priest he is the one that helped the king many years ago when he was a very young boy. Lin is now the head and the high priest and help the monks and the priests as well. Lin helps the queen but won't tell anyone he cares for the young child as well.

Bio: Ivran is the only child of the queen and heir to the throne. His father died when he was very young only an baby. But he did have very nice person to help him out in his life and grown very fond of them priest. He will be the king that he wants to be like his father was.

Lin was in the chuch praying like always until one of the priests told him that the queen needed him and Liz had to go help her with something he knew something was wrong. Lin was done praying and left the hall and went to the castle and knew something was wrong as well.

Lin got the the throne room of the castle and saw the queen walking around and was worried for something and Lin went her and bowed. "yes my queen you have called for me?" Lin said her.

The queen looked at him and nodded "Lin it is getting worse you right like always the war is going no where since the death of my husband years ago and I don't want my son to go in war like his father did you know of it please I want you to talk to my son please." The queen looked at him.

Lin looked at her and nodded and got up and walked out of the throne room and went to look for the young prince. Lin walked around and found him in his room with the guards and they looked at him and nodded. Liz walked up and bowed and said "My young prince may I have a word with you?"

Ivran gets ready to go out as he knew the war was just getting worst. It felt like it was his duty as the prince of the elven kingdom to go out. He also knew his mother didn't want him to go out and the young prince was stuborn. He sighs deeply grabbing his necklace around his neck and stares at it. Irvan heard someone enter his room before he turns around and saw the high priest was there.

Ivran couldn't think a reason why the priest was here unless his mother send him here. He waves his hand to send his servents and the guards away as one of them layed down his bow and quiver down before leaving. Irvan looks at him and nods "Of course what is it you wish to speak to me?" moving over and sits down on the edge of his bed.

Lin looked at him and rise and went closer to him but not to close just for him to see of him and Lin said "Prince your mother is worried for you and she doesn't want you to go in the war for what happen to your father was bad of a great loss to our great king but she thinks you are not ready yet and I don't know why the war is getting worse but ever since your father death it will get worse and they might be after you and it is time also about you getting married to a princess as well, You are next in line for the throne and your mother is getting sick and she wants you to be king but you need to marry someone but I am only here as a messager and your friend. That is all if you need me I will talk to you later my young prince." Lin bowed to him and went for the door.

Ivran blinks listening to him as he sighs gently. He knew the war was getting worse and maybe he and his mother was right. Ivran rubs the back of his neck but wondering why his mother wanted him to get married so much. He never have met right girl and part of him really didn't want to get married to an girl. Ivran stands up and walks over to the window stares out of it. "Lin wait.." turns around as he looks over at him. "I do understand this...maybe mother is right...they probbly are waiting for me to get on the battle field. I surely don't want to cause any more trouble to my mother." says staring down.

He turns around and leans his hands against the window seal. "Marriage is so hard for me to handle..mostly its hard to find the right one to marry especial in this time." Sighs gently. He chuckles gently looking over at him "I guess I need to stop complaining so much huh?"

Lin looked at him and than went to sit on his bed and said to him "Prince if you don't like girls you can tell your mother about it she would understand it about if you don't like girls you can tell her and would you marry you?" Lin looked at him and than knew something about him was different about him Lin would not tell him or anyone but than Lin stood up and looked at him "Who do you like guys or girls?" Lin ask him.

The young prince looks at the priest and takes an deep breath as he knew he could say anything to him. "Well..." rubs the back of his head taking a step away from the window. "I don't really like girls much..something about them I just don't see myself with any kind of girl. Boys are strong and I can see myself with one." sighs gently. He walks over and falls over onto his bed on his stomach. He folds his arms under his head and lays his head there. "You think mother would let me marry one?" says looking over at him.

Lin looked at him and sigh about it and said to him "Well I don't know prince but if you like any guys I will tell your mother and I will help her as well my prince. Do you like any guys My prince?" Lin looked at him and wonder who he likes and he feels something about him a lot but he doesn't tell anyone about his feelings as well.

He closes his eyes and sighs deeply after hearing the priest question. He opens his eyes and thought for an moment before he rolls over onto his side looking at him. "Yea I do only one of course..but I never told him about it but of course I don't know if he feels the same way." He sits up looking at Lin as he bits his lip hoping he would kinda catch on but wasn't sure. "I praticely knew him almost my life..I don't know if you can call it an crush but I know its more than an simple crush." twists his finger tips into his hair alittle.

Lin looks at the prince and leans on the wall and said "Young master you can tell me this is between you and me and your mother will know in time as well." Lin looked at him and than smiled at him as well. Lin went to him closer and looked at him and bowed him and smiled. "Young prince you can always tell me."

Ivran looks at him while he leans closer. He could tell he was about to blush alittle staring at him trying to think of the right words to say. "Well I'm not sure if mother would allow this. Of course I never heard of anyone royal that is in love with a priest." Ivran blushes. "I love you, Lin.." says softly. He brushes some of his hair out of his face alittle "Of course there was an reason why I wanted to go out into this war...cause I try to distance myself from this but I know that was always impossible. Cause no matter of I was on the battle field or not I will always still be thinking of you."

Lin looked at him and couldn't move at all and knew of something as well he was just in shock mostly that the prince was in love with him. Lin looked at him and than got closer to him and took the prince in his arms and hugged him tight and didn't let go of him and said this "prince I have been in love with you for so long I could never tell you my feelings but your mother would not like you loving me and I know I must keep you safe and you must marry a princess to be king and be like your father was." Lin let him go and than kissed him on the lips deeply and Lin knew it would be bad of course falling in love with the prince. "Prince please be happy and do what you want to alright." Lin left his room and didn't see the queen but went back to his room and took of his shirt and looked at the sky and sigh of course. "My prince i can't love you it is better this way." Lin said to himself.

Ivran blinks once the priest wrap his arms around him and hugs him. he couldn't help but to hug Lin back as he had wish for this for years to feel Lin's arms around him. He listens to him which made his heart skip a beat but it stop once Lin said that his mother wouldn't be ok with it. Ivran soon was kissed and causing him to nearly melt in his arms almost. he kisses him back soon after he pulls back looking at him. "But..." Irvan watches Lin walking out not even giving him a chance to say anything. He felt very sad and almost broken heart as he tears up rubbing his eyes. But I don't want to be my father..I just want you.. he thought to himself. He rubs his eyes as a maid came in to help him to remove his armor. He felt like a fool for even saying his feelings toward the priest. Once the armor was off he changes into some other clothes than his chainmail. He pulls his hair down as he walks out of his room heading to the throne room where his mother was.

Lin was in his room and knew the prince would see his mother and he hopes that the queen doesn't know of it as well. Lin lay down on his bed and heard something as well and heard fighting. Lin left the room and saw people fighting and sigh about it and the monks are getting mad at the queen and want her gone and they attack the monks and Lin attack them by knocking them out he was the high priest and the rest of them were scared of him and the other monks thanked him.

The queen was sitting on here throne and was waiting for her son and than saw her son coming to see her and she smiled as well.

The young prince had to make sure his face was completely dry so it wouldn't look so bad and would get her mother thinking something was wrong with her son. He takes a deep breath and moves over looking at his mother. Darien bows before he looks up to his mother "High Priest Lin has told me that you don't want me to go into war. Cause you don't want me to end up like father. So I won't do it..." says softly. He trys his best to keep the saddness he was now feeling push back while speaking. "I..I will go ahead an marry a princess of your choosing mother." says. As it probbly wouldn't be for love..no...his love was for the priest. No matter what happens. He only decide to marry a princess only to create heirs. He didn't care about love much now anymore since he can't even be with the one he truely love.

The queen looked at him and stood up and smiled as well and said "that is good my child the princess I think it is best she is around your age and her father and mother just moved on but the princess is a lovely girl she wants to meet you tonight is that alright my son?" The queen didn't know but than the door slammed fast and said the queen. " What is going on I wanted no one to see me...."

It was Lin he had one of monks and he threw him to the ground he was hurt but not bad "My queen half the monks want you dead they think you are unfair to them and half the monks love you but it is getting worse I'm lucky I stopped it My queen." Lin shirt was ripped and pants ripped at the bottom and he was strong and Lin bowed and said "My queen I will go to war to protect you I sear it." Lin looked at the queen.

The queen was in shock about it and knew the monks helped her for years and said "very well Lin go to war but please wait until in 3 months I still need you here for a while please." The queen said

Lin looked at him and nodded than he got up and left and knew the prince would be mad at him but Lin knows where he could find him Lin will be in his room that is where he like to be all the time.

Ivran listens to his mother saying about the princess. As he didn't even guess she already picked a princess out for him. He wish he just said about loving the priest but he couldn't put Lin in danger or even in trouble. Who knew what his mother would do if she ever found out. "Yes mother it is fine. At what time should I met the princess?" before his mother would speak. He heard the door as he turns around and looks at Lin having a monk. He takes an step back watching the priest speak. Irvan nearly lost it when Lin told him he would go into war. He couldn't believe his ears no more than hearing half the monks was going against his mother.

Irvan looks at Lin as he walks out before the prince looks back over to his mother. "Why would those monks what to go up against you? Its not like its your fault or fathers that this stupid war had started." crosses his arms. "If this war haven't started then Lin would have to go to war or father wouldn't have died. Why would you agree sending Lin into war? He is going to die just like father." says as the tone of his voice was very angry.

The queen looked at him and sigh about it and said "Dear I know of it but Lin is my strongest men I have and he would go to war for protecting the kingdom son but you want to talk to him you can about it the princess will be here in days please go have fun for a while until dinner alright." The queen left the room and went to the kitchen and told the chefs the dinner.

He sighs deeply as he rubs his neck abit watching his mother leave the room. He turns and walks out of the throne room, walking down the hallway. The prince finally reaches to the priest's room as he wasn't sure if he should knock or just walk in there. Yea he was still mad Lin was doing this..to the prince he felt like the priest was only running away from him. Ivran reaches up and knocks on the door waiting for Lin to open the door or something.

Lin was in his room sleeping and than heard his door knocked and sigh about it thought the monks were asking for him and than he got up and opened the door and saw him and said "Prince." Lin sigh and said "please come in I see your mad at me for what I am going to do." Lin said looking at the window.

Irvan walks in and closes the door behind him. He stares at the ground before he looks Lin "Tell me?...why? why are you doing this? You know as much as I know this war is just getting worst." sighs deeply. "First you don't want me to go into war and now you are...." sighs deeply. "I lost my father...I don't know what I would do if I lost you." wraps his arms around himself. He stares at the ground "I guess the only reason why mother said wait here for three months. Cause she figures is the time I will be married to the princess." looking back up at him. "I just want to let you know..I'm not love the princess..I am only doing it to make heirs to the throne. I can't love another when I alway love someone else. WHich I know its forbidden and unthinkable."

Lin looked at the window and sigh about what he said about it and than looked at the wall "Prince I have reasons of doing this one I have to protect you from going into the war and the queen knows of it as well. and if I go to war you would be happy with your life." Lin looked at him and than went to him and than hugged him tight and looked at him "prince I protected you for long I can I love you I don't you to forget it." Lin looked at him and than kissed him deeply.

Irvan looks at him while Lin explain it to him. But there was one thing he was wrong he wouldn't be happy with his life if he did go to war. As he would be very worried and also would miss him for as long he was on the battle field. He soon was hugged tightly and he hugs him back "I won't forget..never..no one would make me forget." says before he was kissed and he kisses him back deeply. He begans to cry softly tears rolls down his face knowing it was probbly the last time he could. Ivran pushes back and rubs his eyes with his sleeve. "I..can't..I just can't...please just stay away from me for now on..it would just make it even harder for me to watch you leave..." turns around and runs out of the priest's room.

Lin looked at him and than saying to stay away from him and he would do and he never told him what he going to do anyway. Lin wanted him to be happy without and Lin nodded as well. After the prince left Lin did what was right and got his stuff and went out of his window and was gone as well. Lin also left a note for the prince it said good bye forever don't look for me ever.

Lin was gone and went to the forest and was gone forever to be alone forever.
