Rie giggled to herself and took to the skies where she came from. One day she would ask to walk the earth as a human girl so she could actually meet Jun and Jack, but for now she was just going to do what she could to help the two and she could watch over Jun. Sabrina opened the door and gave a sigh of relief, moving out of the way quickly so he could come inside and everything without asking a thousand questions. She was just relieved to see them both safe and sound.

Jack attempted to smile at Sabrina when he saw her. He really was happy to have Jun safe at home, but his expression looked something more suitable to the lines of 'See, no harm done, right? Ahahah..' He stepped inside and glanced back at Sabrina for a moment. He wanted to ask if Sabrina would rather get Jun cleaned up for the day, but he decided that it wasn't worth waking Jun up just to take a bath. Jack usually felt a lot of resentment to whomever dared to wake his sleep. So, Jack took Jun all the way to her room before shifting her in his arms the same way he did when he rung the doorbell. He folded the blankets back and let her lie down. Her clothes were only a little damp, since Jack had been so quick to get to her side.

He smiled and took Jun's shoes off for her, setting them at the edge of her bed in case she woke up and needed to go someplace. When he saw that there was nothing left to do for the day in terms of helping Jun. Jack had never changed a girl into her pajamas, nor did he ever plan on it. 'That would be weird as ever..' he thought sheepishly. Finally, he kissed Jun good-night and went back into the main room where he'd seen Sabrina. "Thank you," he said with a polite wave as he walked back through the front door and to his house. 'What a beautiful day,' he thought as he jumped out off the porch and into into the rain. Jack practically danced his entire way home.

Jun woke up at least three hours later trying to figure out where she was, how she got here, and what happened before she crashed. Then she remembered her mom showing up with the newspaper, running as if her life depended on it, Jack finding her and- 'Jack!' She sat up quickly and looked around then held her head and groaned. 'I feel like a got hit by a bus...' Jun thought as she fell back into the bed and stared at the rusty-colored ceiling. 'Damn...'

By the time Jack had gotten home, he was already starting to recite a few childhood songs from France. He swung his front door open and danced through the house in his wet clothes. Then, he realized the mess he'd left- especially the part where the front door was wide open while it was raining. Jack sighed and began to clean up the mess.

A few minutes later, Jack was upstairs and all cleaned up. He had already turned almost all of the lights out in his house. He lied on the side of his bed and stared at one of the walls across from him. Then, he pulled the little beaded string of his lamp and flipped that light out too. The entire house was dark. Jack folded his arms behind his head and watched his ceiling- he had placed his bed so that when it rained, the dim light from outside would cast shadows of water flowing upwards. He watched the streams, thinking of how drastically different his life was from 48 hours prior to meeting Jun. He glanced over at his phone a few times, but he knew better than to expect late calls on a day when the gang wasn't planning anything. So, he resigned to watching the water shadows on his ceiling, enjoying his tranquility.

Jun let her eyes close again and she fell almost asleep as quick as earlier despite her clothing. She'd probably be out until morning.

It was on an early morning the next day that Jack woke up. The sun was still trying to pull itself over the horizon, but Jack's body was fully rested. He'd slept for three extra hours the day before and was all of a sudden used to waking up when Jun was up the day before. He turned and looked at his cell phone- it was about 4am. He sighed and sat up. Jack had little to do, so he picked up his phone and stumbled out of his room and into the kitchen on the lower level of the house. He pulled out a cup and a little gadget that helped tea leaves make tea without adding the extra texture of the actual leaves into the drink. Jack let his 'make-tea-in-the-morning' process continue as he continued to wake up and think about the night before. 'Hah,' he thought after his tea was just about done. 'I still never got your number.'

Jun dark grey-blue eyes fluttered open and she looked at the clock. '5 am on a school day...' She groaned over dramatically and slowly sat up. Jun got a look of herself, her clothes had been changed. 'Auntie must've washed me up while I was a rock.' She concluded since it wouldn't be the first time. Jun moved just the wrong way and broke into a coughing fit, that's when she saw a damp cloth on her nightstand and sighed. "Great..." She muttered. "Jun? Are you up?" Sabrina asked as she came into her room. "How are you feeling?" "Like a got hit by a bus... Can I stay home today?" Jun replies gruffly. Sabrina goes to sit beside her and moves her bangs from her face. "Of course sweetie, I wouldn't want you pushing yourself more than you already have." She kisses her forehead and brings her into a gentle hug.

Jack prepared himself for the rest of the day ahead of him within a short period of time. He'd gotten all his belongings together and cleaned up in less than an hour. He then resigned to his favorite couch in the living room- his parents liked having comfy living quarters, even if the house itself didn't reflect the same amount of value as in the furnishings. Still, Jack loved to be by himself near them. It was white with a dark-red colored frame, however Jack rarely got a speck of dirt on it. He threw his arms out and folded one underneath a couch pillow to support himself while the other pulled a phone out of his pocket and set an alarm. If Jack dozed off, at least something could wake him before he was late for school. He began to realize what a bit of an outcast he was, yet how well he'd managed to fit in for so long. It was the same in France, too. 'I wonder..' Jack looked at the ceiling curiously. It almost felt like he had run away from the inevitable, and now the truth sunk in. He shook his head and looked out the window, watching the clouds move and change color against the sunlight.

Sabrina laid Jun back down so she could rest before going out into the living room. She saw a piece of paper with a number on it and Jack's name. Waiting a little bit longer, she picked up the paper and went to the land-phone and dialed the number and waited for him to answer if he hadn't already left for school.

Jack, in the end, had dozed off due to boredom. He awoke to the feeling of tingling in his hand. Jack blinked twice before answering his phone- he wasn't sure of the number, but didn't assume it was a prank call right away. "Hello..?" he asked softly, knowing that the house was full of sleeping people except for himself.

"Jack? It's Sabrina, I'm sorry to be calling so early but I thought I'd tell you that Jun wouldn't be at school today. Would you mind getting her work after school dear? I can call her teachers to drop it off at the front office." Sabrina says in a quiet kind voice as she speaks.

Jack smirked and sat up when he listened to Sabrina talk. He checked the time of his grandfather clock and decided that he could get on his way for school- the alarm would've gone off eventually anyway. As he sat up, he nodded to himself. "Sure thing, I'll get it right after school." Jack waited for the click of the call to end- he had a habit of staying on the line until the other person hung up unless he was under some rage or frustration spell. So, he stealthily picked up his own backpack and headed out the front door.

"Bless your heart Jack." She said kindly before hanging up the phone. Sabrina then picked it up again and began calling Jun's teachers and telling them that Jun who be absent and a friend was coming by the front office to pick up any work she would have. After thanking them she marked off her metal to-do list then started cleaning.

Jack had gotten into school and through his classes with ease. The homework was light for the day and the tests were all put off until the end of the month. He'd gone by the main office during his off-period and picked up Jun's homework before catching a train with his friends to the city. They wandered around for about an hour and caught up with each other in the latest events at the school- who the new dealers were, what parties were held where for the weekend- before Jack departed to go do his homework in an old coffee shop at the edge of the city. He did his homework quickly and only then did he notice that there was a piano near where he was sitting. He smiled deviously and walked over to where it was, placing his phone on top of the wood. He then sat down and began to play old songs that came to his fingertips, all while passing time for a call from Jun.

Jun tossed and turned before sitting up and looking at the time. She sighed and slowly got out of bed and stretched. "Damn..." Jun muttered and made her way into the kitchen to get some food, then changed her mind and picked up the phone and called Jack.

Jack had just about finished the first half of his favorite piece when he heard his phone ringing. He paused, holding the pedal down and letting the notes continue on echoing through the room. Then, seeing the same unknown number from earlier that day, Jack picked it up. "Hello~" he said ever so on-key with the last note he played.

"Jack hey, it's Jun~ are you free to hang out?" She spoke with a since of happiness since she was feeling a little better, but she still needed to take it easy.

Jack immediately let go of the pedal on the piano. He sat back in his little bench and closed his eyes. Jack learned, long ago, that his emotions usually split from his effort. He would become extremely animated in the real world, but over-the-phone conversations were limited to what the other person could hear. So, he usually closed his eyes and nearly tripled the distinctness of his persona over the phone as if it were really him. "Ma chérie, for you- I'm free as can be," he rhymed. "Where do you wanna meet up?"

Jun felt her cheeks heat up and suppressed the urge to giggle all cute. She cleared her throat quietly. "The fair's in town, if you wanted to meet me there." She thought about that sentence and blushed a little. 'Sounds like I'm asking him on a date...' Jun thought with red cheeks.

Jack spent a moment trying to recall exactly where the fair was every year. He'd been there a few times to fill up on popcorn and cotton candy for the fun of it. When he remembered, he opened his eyes and smiled. "The one just outside of the city, right?" he clarified. 'I'm pretty sure I'm close to it..' "I'll meet you there, then," he said with a glamour. "Call it a date~"

"Yeah, that's the one." She answered sweetly. Jun continued to blush as the conversation went on. "Alright love, I'll see you there~" She giggled before ending the call and hanging up the phone. Jun stood there for a minute before gently touching her warm cheeks and giggling more. "I have a date with Jack~ <3" She headed to her room to change clothes, something you would wear to a fair. After changing she told her aunt were she was going then headed to the fairgrounds.

Jack stood up from his piano and waved to the owner of the coffee shop, who waved right back as most acquaintances did out of politeness. He took a trip stop at his local bank before catching a bus to the fairgrounds. Jack had deemed his normal attire for the day, dress clothes that were slightly more-or-less elaborate, 'fair game for the fair.' He was reasonably content with himself by the time he got off the bus and walked a few blocks to pay the admission for the fair in advance before Jun showed up.

Jun was dressed in a thin-strap purple summer dress that reached her calves and black sandals. Her hair was down as usual but she had purple headband to keep it from her face. Sabrina drove her niece to the fairgrounds and would glance at her with a small smile when she saw how happy her niece was. When the truck stopped Jun rushed out the truck. "Jun." Sabrina called sweetly, causing her to freeze and look back. "Yes?" "Come here." She said in her same sweet voice. Jun casually walked towards her aunt with the face of a busted kid. Sabrina hugged her tightly. "I'll be back in an hour, do be careful and have fun." Jun nodded and hugged her back before the two released and Jun happily went to meet with Jack. 'One hour. Ah, I wish the hour never ended~ ^//^'

Sabrina got back in her truck and drove off.

Jack had taken to a bench off to the sides of the fair's entrance where he could check the crowd for any signs of his date. When he saw her, he stood and took the admission proof out of his pocket. "Jun!" he called out above the typical ambient noises in the fairgrounds. The crowd would have made spotting people difficult, but Jack knew who he was looking for and could do it in the dark. He waved and made his way towards her. Jack grinned as he got a better glimpse of what Jun was wearing- it was absolutely beautiful.

Jun lifted her head when she heard her name. When she saw Jack she could only smile and blush ever so lightly. He looked as handsome as ever in his casual clothes. "Let's have fun okay? I only have an hour before Auntie comes to pick me up." She smiles brightly.
