Father saw how attached this girl was to zack and he sighed as he pulled out a folder. "as you wish but I don't have as much as you may think" he said placing it down and pulling out a piece of paper and handed it to zack. "it's the letter we got from the people that dropped you off, not sure who they were but this is all I have." zack looked at the paper, and his eyes got wide. "my parents died the day I was corn, and groupie happened to the people that kept me in their town so they brought me here." he said softly and looked over at her. "we better get goin" he said turning and starting to walk out. The father didn't say anything, and just let him go, he didn't want trouble to happen there either.

Azria bowed her thanks before following after Zack. She walked behind him closely.

Zack wasn't too happy about what they just found out. Knowing that his father died protecting his mothernso she could have him, and that she passed soon after, didn't go to well with him. "what do we do now?" he asked azria as they hit the city streets. His idea to find answers failed because he didn't find anything that would actually help them. The letter said something about a prophecy but he didn't know how he was tied into that.

Azria got closer to him when they hit the city streets in thought. 'Go to the wizard...? Heck no! Um...' "Tonight's a full moon..." She muttered quietly before looking at him with slight worry before glancing away. Azria's breath hitched when she saw someone walk by with a dark look in his eyes and out of habit clinged to Zack like a scared child, muttering something. She shook her head and gently took his hand before walking at a quickened pace but not too quick. "This area isn't safe..."

Zack looked up as she said it was a full moon, but didn't say anything. Feeling her cling to him and hold his hand made him feel better, except for what she said. "no where is safe anymore." he said matching her speed as they left the city. "let's go back to the house for tonight, I think we did enough for now." he added as he started to get the feeling they were being followed.

Azria gave a small nod as they walked. "O-okay.."

They wooed back into the woods. The moon was high above and it was shining through the trees. Feeling the pressenceof being followed he looked back, ut saw nothing. "somethings not right" he whispered to her as they were still close, hand in hand.

Azria felt a sharp pain run up her spine when her wings tried to come out yet made no expression of pain. She stopped and looked behind them, her gaze locked onto the bushes. "Our stalker's hiding in the bushes..." Azria muttered before she started walking again, a small dagger appeared in her free hand in case the stalker was planning an ambush.

Zack slowly looked backwards. He didn't have his small blade, it was still packed up in the house. "be careful" he said softly. He didn't want her hurt by trying to save him. "show yourself!" zack said in a louder tone. A girl about azrias age stepped out from behind the bush "you can't leave things behind that easy" she said in a small voice. It was dark enough that he couldn't see her face but the voice sounded familiar.

Azria turned around and blinked a couple times and in a calm voice, "who are you?" Was the first thing she asked, and since it was dark she let the jacket slide off and land on her arm. Her wings hid themselves out of habit even it was dark.

The girl took a step forward. "zack, will you back?" she asked as the moonlight hit her face. "Liz? Why you following me?" he asked curiously. Liz was a girl that he knew from the church, she didn't stay there like he did but he knew she liked him. He had azria with him, and for not knowing her that long he like her more than he ever liked Liz. She was a good friend and that's all he saw in her.

Azria hid behind Zack out of habit and poked her head out with the eyes of a child.

Zack knew what azria was doing, and he sighed a little. "I'm not to sure what's going on right now Liz." he said looking at her. She stood there in the moon light a little longer. "what's all going on?" she asked not having a clue on why he was leaving, and at that why another girl was leaving with him. "and who is she?" she asked pointing at azria.

"My name's Azria, I'm a friend." She answered quietly but loud enough for Liz to hear.

"a friend huh?" Liz said crossing her arms and glaring at zack. She liked him for a few years now, and he always turned her down, but she was still willing to hold on and try harder. There was no way she was going to let this new girl take her zack away from her. Zack looked at azria and then at Liz. "things are going on and I'm not to sure when or if I'll be back, so we are headed out" he said and turned and started walking away pushing azria so her wings would still be hidden.

Azria went with it and starting walking so he didn't have to push her. 'Can this day have anymore close calls?' She thought to herself as she walked.

Liz didnt take things as good as Zack was wanting. she got a stight face and started to follow them. "when i said you wern't going to leave things behind. Zack i was meaning me.." Her face kind of went red, but she didnt care. Zack hesitated for a second but then started walking again. "You are not following us, now go home" He said in a stern voice. he wanted time away from anyone that didnt know what was going on and his situation.

When Azria heard what the other girl said she stopped dead in her tracks and turned to face the girl, her wings folded behind her back out of sight. "Liz... Times are rough right now and it's for your safety that you don't follow us..." She said in a soft calm voice, ready to be a stubborn mile if she needed to be. 'Even we don't know what's going on...' Azria thought to herself.

Liz stoped in her tracks at what zack said, and didn't like what's the other girl said. "hey, I don't want some girl taking my guy from me." she said her voice was getting louder. Zack didn't like this too much, and he placed a hand on azrias shoulder. " you don't need to argue, please" he said softly not knowing if she would actually listen or not.

Azria blinked a few times and gazed at the grass with a pained expression hidden in her eyes. 'You won't have to worry about that...' She shook her head after thinking and started walking again without a single word, not really caring if her wings could been seen or not. "You're right... There's no point in arguing..." Azria said so soft she could barely hear herself, sounding rather defeated.

Seeing this gril react to sacks plea like that made her that much more mad at them. She walked up grabbing his arm and holding onto it tightly. "what do you think your doing?" zack said surprised as he was stopped and his hand slid off azria. "I always liked you, and you pick this girl over me? But why?" tears starting from her eyes as she looked up at him.

Azria turned to face her, completely forgetting what she was going to say at the moment she let her wings open as much as they would open, a couple loose feather blew with the slight breeze. She was tired of hiding.. pain was something angels weren't supposed to feel but this one did.. Azria bit her lower lip before speaking. "You shouldn't so quick to judge.. 'this girl' can't be with him like that even she wanted to..." She said, her voice cracked slightly. Azria shook her head and ran off into the darkness of the forest where she started.

Zack was the first to react, and his face got red at first. 'so she does like me' he thought to himself. Liz lat her grip go as she watched the other girl disappear. The tears starting to come again, more in the girls sake than wanting zack. "me or her?" she asked softly, dumb timing. Zack ripped his arm from Liz's hands. "azria!" he said quickly before running off after her. Liz stood there looking off into the distance before looking down and seeing the feathers.

Azria ran until the heard her feet splash the water of the river, that's when she came to a slow stop. She had gone a whole day without sleep and now that's the last thing she was thinking about. Azria knelt in the water, it was only 1ft deep if that. 'Why did I run...?' Something was pulling at her chest, was it her heart? She gently placed at hand over the area and gripped the clothing tightly. Tears formed in her eyes and dripped into the river. It was clear she loved the mortal but she could never.. be with him...

Zack came to the rives edge and stoped when he saw her sitting there in the water. "you alright?" he asked before starting to walk into the water as well. He didn't want her hurt and what Liz was doing, he thought was just hurting azria. He was soon beside her and saw that she was crying. "what's wrong? If it was Liz I am sorry.." he said softly. His heart sank in his chest, and he started to feel helpless in this situation.
