So I love piercings, I say they're good. If you don't like them, that's your thing. I thought this up since a lot of my well, I don't know if they're really friends now, have been putting me down recently since I'm getting some more. So I'm just wondering what everyone of mene thinks! :D

I like some piercings a lot. For instance, when a girl has her septum pierced, I'm instantly into her. It's one of the coolest piercings you can get.

At one point I had ten peircings and wanted more. But life got in the way and I never did and I guess I had just been going through a faze because I sort of, grew out of it. Now I've only got two holes in each ear and my belly button still peirced. There have been times I've thought about re-peircing my nose, but on the other side. In high school I ended up taking it out because I had too many rough guy friends and I was also not very graceful and would get my shirts caught on it and rip it out and it was just not a pleaseant thing for me. Now days, I have a ten month old, and fear basically her pulling/poking at it, or it getting caught during roughhousing, as I've had a busted lip and bruised eye aleady from such activity haha

I don't see anything wrong with peircings or people who have them, but I feel like I've grown to a point where I think the metal, in your face at least, makes you less beautiful in a way. It's just my opinion, but I don't think I will re-peirce my nose because of it, and my daughter.

It highly depends on the peircing; I think huge gauges are kinda eew, but most pericings have both tasteful and non tasteful options.

Depends on the kind of piercing/what it's paired with if the person has several. Most of the time, I think they're pretty sexy but then there are people like my boyfriend's ex who looks stupider and stupider with each one that she gets. Of course her terrible hair, emo makeup, and general whore habits don't help but that's a story for another day.

depends on the piercing. Some can be icky, but in general I'm a fan. I have 5 myself ( 1 in each lobe, 1 in each ear cartilage and my belly button), I'm planning on getting a second hole in my lobes before the end of summer.

I love piercings. <3 But a lot of my piercings don't love me, so I'm only left with my nose and belly button, plus 5 between my ears, but I usually don't count those because the cartilage ones I had all got infected. :( Snake bites were fun, but got infected for me, too. I want so many more, but I'm not the best piercing caretaker, so I probably won't get all of them. I love being a pincushion (so I thoroughly enjoy going to the acupuncture in place of getting the tons of piercings I want).

I don't like the way the jewellery can catch on things, so it's not for me. But people can do what they like; pain can be erotic and cool, so I guess the rush of getting them put in is the best part. I do think some of them look pretty bad. Like there was this guy I saw once who was cute excepting for the giant plates in his ears. i saw him when he finally took them out and his ears hung like turkey waddles; he needed to get them trimmed surgically.

Piercings have both pros and cons so they aren't completely one or the other. Personally I like piercing and have a number of them, but I do realize that they just aren't for everyone. But the one thing I strongly dislike is when people without piercings or who may not like them look at someone who does, they judge or make comments. It's not like people with piercings or any body mod for that matter look at those without and think it's a bad thing. You would think that these days it would be more socially accepted since it is becoming a ore popular thing and a great way to express yourself. So in my opinion your friends shouldn't care if you get more, you are still you and they should accept you for that. If they don't like piercings, then fine, they don't have to get them.

I don't mind tasteful piercings on other people but as for my own lack of piercings I feel like I don't need more holes in my body than God put there in the first place :)

Some piercings are gross, like the tongue, the ones which stretch the ear flesh I forget the name, and the nose when it's a ring, nose studs are ok.

Belly button and eyebrow piercing I think would be beautiful.

It's interesting to see how many support piercings, especially those who aren't too into them for themselves. I agree, piercings definitely aren't for everyone, try what you want to try and if you like it keep it, if not at least you can say you tried it out!

I can't stand huge gauges, the biggest I'll go is probably 15 or 14, and that's still not that big. >.< My favorites are probably ears and belly piercings however. They look good on nearly anybody. (:

I think piercings on your ears are fine. I know people have multiple ear piercings and that's really cool.

But face piercings scare me because I imagine someone wiping his face with a towel, getting it snagged on a piercing, and accidentally pulling it. :cry:

Depending on the piercing, and the girl. Some can pull off the Marilyn Monroe(I think its called) where its in the mid-ish cheek. Some can pull it off, but 99.99999~% of the time, I personally think its ugly, and tacky. I dont have any piercings, and most of the girls I hang out with only have their ears, nose, tongue, or something usually hidden(navel, nipples). So, it really all depends on the girl, and the piecing she has.

I like piercings I only have two now but I would love to get my cartilage pierced and I would actually like to have corset piercings on my back but I do not know if that will ever happen since it seems painful and uncomfortable.

Depends on the person and how the piercing looks on them. I mean some people can totally pull off one type while others can't. For the most part, I see nothing wrong with piercings in moderation too many, like extreme piercing where everything is metal on the area of the body kind of grosses me out a bit. It has to be A LOT to get me to ask why someone would do that other than that I'm not bothered by them.

I have 12 piercings myself and love them. I plan on getting venoms pretty soon too and my eyebrow redone.
