Liam sighed and said "Good bye, love" to Rusty, a bit of a British accent coming through. Then he left, saying a small farewell to Coco. He didn't know where he was going.

Alex sighed and set the bike down on the ground before he went up on the porch. He stood in front of Coco and fidgeted. "Well, I'll see ya later." He said before skulking off the porch and getting in the truck. He did the guy wave before he pulled away.

"See ya Alex." She smirked lightly and gave a small wave. Collenne sighed a little as she watched them drive off before going back inside where her twin was waiting in his neko form. She rose a hand as soon as she saw his expression. "Rusty please don't..." Her ears were down. "You have no idea what I've been through..."

Rusty rose an eyebrow and put a hand on his hip. "You smell Collenne! What the hell happened last night? You said you would be back within the hour and you never came home! Do you know how worried I was?!" She flinched when he raised his voice and lowered her ears against her head, her tail stood still. "You wanna know what happen? I got taken to the pound because I fell asleep on the bike seat before shifting back!" Coco hissed, tears coming to her eyes.

"You have no idea what it's like to wake up in a tiny freezing cold cage and not have clue on where you were..." She sank to her knees. Coco was telling the truth though, her and her twin has always been together. Not once had the other gone to pound or anything of the some sort. Collenne cupped her cheeks and cried because of how scared she was. She was so glad that Alex showered up when he did.

Rusty was completely awestruck.

Alex sighed as he drove. He really did like Coco. "I don't like her." He said adamantly in the empty truck. He was only defying himself. He came to a stop light and banged his head against the steering wheel. "I think... I'm in love." He whispered, not looking up from his steering wheel until he knew the light was green. Immediately he sped forward, unfortunately he didn't see the semi-truck speeding through the light and hit the driver's side.

Liam had just gotten in the house when he got a phone call. "This is Liam." He answered, happily. "This is Dr. King at the hospital. I regret to inform you that your brother, Alex, has been in an accident." Liam immediately got worried. "Is he okay? What happened?" He asked, an anxious tone in his voice. The doctor was silent until he spoke in a remorseful tone, "I'm sorry. We can't get him to wake up and he isn't breathing on his own and we've had to put in a feeding tube. He's in a coma." Liam burst out in tears and shook his head before he hung up. He sat in silence at home for a few moments, and boy did he look terrible when he showed up at Rusty and Coco's home after having been there not only an hour ago. He didn't want to knock on the door so he just stood outside, with his head down and his hair falling in his face, waiting on someone to notice.

Collenne stood and went to her room and quietly closed her door, she was shivering in fear of ever going back to that dreadful place. Not too long Rusty's ears perked and he went to open the door when he felt something 'off' Opening the door he blinked a few times, he that look.. All too well.. Walking outside he gently pulled Liam into him and held him close, his ears lowered.

Liam bust out in tears again, he couldn't help it. He was shaking from how hard he was crying as he buried his face in Rusty's shirt. His eyes were already puffy from crying earlier. He couldn't speak; he didn't want to believe it. Alex was his brother. Nothing could happen to Alex. Alex was Alex. Bad things just didn't happen to Alex. Liam cried so hard his chest hurt and he held on tightly to Rusty.

Rusty continued t hold him close. "I'm so sorry Liam..." He managed to barely whisper as he held him. Collenne sat up when she got a bad vibe. 'Rusty's crying inside...' She slowly and silently slipped out of her room and her eyes instantly went wide at the sight of Liam crying. Coco bared a tight fist and jumped out an open window, running to her bike and instantly turning it on and racing off down the street like a speed racer, dodging every car that got in her way.

Liam took a shaky breath and looked at Rusty. "Alex..." He sounded like a little kid who'd lost his best friend, when actually the situation was very similar. His lower lip trembled as he looked back down. He buried his face in Rusty's shirt again and continued crying. He didn't know what to do. He felt so... empty.

His ears perked when he heard his twins bike and looked up. 'Collenne!' He yelled in his head but he wasn't about to let go of Liam, he kept holding him.. Just like that.. She knew what she was doing and he let it at that. Rusty continued to hold his lover close, hissing at his mind.

Coco sped down the highway until she came to the hospital, her heart was racing a thousand miles a minute when she skid to a stop in the parking lot, turned off her bike, lowered the stand and rushed towards the front doors. Upon opening the doors she flickered her eyes around. "Excuse me, I'm looking for Dr. King..." She managed to say in a calm voice, she could feel her heart racing so fast it almost hurt.

Liam looked up at Rusty before he pulled away and started walking down the side walk. He didn't know what to do. "Alex..." He said, sounding like a kid who's lost his best friend... which was very close to the current situation.

Dr. King walked up to Coco. "Can I help you?" He asked in an annoyed tone.

"Where's Alex?" She asked, she hid her ears and tail somehow.

Rusty reached out for him when he pulled away, he looked like a sad puppy.

Liam didn't look at Rusty. "Alex... hurting..." He said, feeling more tears run down his face. He wanted nothing more than to go be with his twin like when they were kids.

Dr. King sighed and directed Coco towards a room with a closed door. "He can still hear you..." He said, but didn't go with her.

Rusty took a chance, shifted into his cat form and followed after Liam.

Coco nodded and walked towards the room, hesitating before deciding to go inside the room. She quietly closed the door again and slowly came over to the side of the bed. Tears filled her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. "Alex..." She barely whispered. "Please, please, please wake up..." Coco whispered brokenly. She knew pleading wouldn't do anything more than likely but she couldn't help it.. Collenne went to sit in the chair close by and hugged her knees tightly.

Alex could hear Coco and was glad she was there, but he felt hurt. He looked like he'd gotten in a fight with God and Satan, bruises and cuts all over his face and body. He wished he could reach out and tell her that everything was alright, but he couldn't and he wasn't even sure of that himself.

Liam was aware of Rusty following him, but he couldn't stop moving towards the hospital. When he got there, he stood still for a moment looking down at his feet which shuffled nervously. He was drawn towards a room with a closed door, but he could only stand outside. He could smell Coco inside and he was afraid of what he might find.

Collenne glanced up when she smelt Liam and Rusty but nonetheless she didn't move. She felt stuck to the chair, for once not she found herself unable to move. 'What's wrong with me...? Get it together Collenne Lane Barges! He's just another boy.. Right?' Coco thought to herself, burying her face within her knees. 'Wrong... GAH!! What's so different about him...? Why's he so special?' She blushed out of frustration. 'I don't like him! Okay.. maybe a little... But that's only because he saved my tail!' Coco tail wrapped loosely around her ankle as more tears came.

Rusty pawed at the door gently without his claws of course.

Liam sighed and gently opened the door, going through it and closing it after he was sure Rusty was in the room. His eyes locked on Alex and he swallowed the lump that had formed in his throat. He carefully held on to his twin's hand and put his forehead against Alex's. "I love you Alex." He whispered, closing his eyes.

Alex wanted to hug Liam like when they were kids and he would have nightmares. He could smell Rusty in the room, but didn't know why he had come other than Liam. The heart monitor beside the bed quickened it's pace since that was the only way Alex could speak that he knew of.

Collenne didn't looked up, she ket her face buried within her knees. She honestly felt it was her fault but she couldn't help it.. Rusty jumped up onto the chair with his twin and gently pawed her. "I'm not crying... You can't prove it...." Coco muttered reeaally quietly while also muffled by her nighty.

Liam sighed and gently kissed Alex's forehead. His eyes softened even more and he looked away. He couldn't stay too long or he'd never be able to calm down. At that thought he left the room, not bothering to close the door behind him. He was still sad, but not as sad.

Alex felt sad now, but he couldn't do anything.

~~Three Weeks Later~~
Collenne locked herself in her room the whole time minus getting some food so she didn't starve. Coco had sifted into her cat form and was sitting on her window ceil watching the sunrise. She had a paw on the window as she watched.

Rusty knocked on her door. "Collenne it's been three weeks... Please come out." Coco just kept watching the sunset.

Liam sighed as he sat beside Alex's bed. Then he saw Alex's eyelids flutter and his fingers and toes twitch. Liam smiled and pulled out his phone, dialing Coco and Rusty as fast as he can. He didn't get an answer. "Ohmygoodness! He's going to wake up! C'mon! He's waking up! You guys! He's waking up! Did you hear me!? ALEX IS WAKING UP!" He rushed excitedly to the answering machine.

Alex could hear his brother as he got closer and closer to consciousness. He wasn't quite there yet.

Rusty picked up the phone. "We heard you~ or I did at least." He was grinning on the phone. "We'll be down there shortly love.." Rusty said quietly before hanging up. "Collenne! We're going to hospital whether I have to kick your door in and drag you or you come willingly!!" Rusty called before rushing to her door and stood there for a couple seconds. With no response he kicked the door down, picked his twin up by the tale before walking out of the house and headed to the hospital. Coco was latching onto his arm like a bat and hissed. By the time they reached the hospital his arm was completely covered in bite marks and scratches and Coco was still latched to it like a bat. Her new collar that her twin bought her was red with a golden name-tag.

Liam smiled at Coco and Rusty and pulled them into Alex's room where he closed the door for a moment. Alex's eyelids fluttered and his fingers and toes twitched again. "Turn back." He said to Coco in his sternest voice. He wanted her to be human before he called the doctors in.

Coco blinked and got free of her brother before shifting back and brushing off. She glared at her twin before going over to the chair but she didn't sit because her tail was sore for the time in awhile, she did however manage to hide her ears and tail. Rusty was smiling innocently.

Liam stuck his head out the door and said, "Hey! Dr. King! Come quick!" Dr. King obeyed and came in just in time to see Alex briefly open his eyes, although it was clear Alex wasn't quite conscious. Dr. King smiled and went over. "Lady and gents, I suggest closing your eyes now if your squeamish." He warned before taking the tube out of Alex's mouth. Instantly, Alex puked into the barf tub the doctor was holding. It was a natural reaction. The doctor threw the tube and tub into the trash and left the room. Alex opened his eyes and blinked a few times. "You should see your faces..." He said in a voice that was rough and weak from not talking and his current condition. He was still a little out of it so the next thing out of his mouth was, "I love you guys... especially you..." Of course he looked at Coco with a small smile. Liam had a big grin on his face, for two reasons.

Collenne quickly covered her eyes when the doctor warned. When it was over she removed her hands from her eyes and blinked a few times and slowly moved her gaze towards Alex. She smiled a little and tears of joy/relief rolled down her rosy cheeks. Rusty held up a peace sign and smirked lightly.

Liam looked at Rusty and Coco then back at Alex. Alex still looked a little beat up, but he was awake. Alex looked down and noticed he was just wearing white shorts under the blanket. "Hey... my clothes are gone..." He muttered, pulling himself up and pulling a few wires and tubes out while he was at it. He pulled the blanket away and swung his feet over the bed, noticing how bruised and scratched they were. Alex sat there for a minute, staring at his feet. As soon as his feet were on the floor, Alex went to the bathroom like it was the most normal thing on the planet. Brushing his teeth after peeing and taking a quick shower. He peeked his head out of the bathroom and looked at them all still there. His eyes stopped on Coco and he smiled widely, like it was normal for him to smile. "Alex, quit creeping and get out of that bathroom. Unless you're naked, then by all means stay in the bathroom." Liam said, shuddering as if the thought were bad. Truthfully, Liam thought Alex was hot and if they weren't related... well... Liam would be a very bad kitty.
