Algas Soleado is spanish for "sunny seaweed" or "sunny algae" depending on if you like me, I guess. haha There's not a whole lot of meaning behind it. I usually have my name in Spanish and I like green things, I usually go with limes but I decided seaweed would be fun! :D

My name is Nathan. It's hebrew, it means gift from god.

My name is Renée, it means Rebirth. I was named after my godmother's daughter (who I never really got to know--nor my godmother, for that sake). Regardless, the name is very significant to me.

Story behind my username :

I used to be a moderator on a now long gone virtual pet site.
I used to go by the name Bear there, as that's my real life nickname. I got a reputation for being "too nice", and I used to get a lot of hassle from users there who wanted me to help them out, unban them, get rid of warnings for them or intervene with other staff members decisions. It was pretty awkward, as I was new to modding and a little naive (this was back in 2003, so I've learned since then lol). I didn't want to upset anyone. Users or staff. So I'd get myself tied up in knots trying to please everyone.
I was talking to a couple of the other mods about it in IM, and they said I needed to stop being Mr. Nice Guy and start getting harsher. So it was decided, No more Mr. Nice Bear. Time to toughen up.
But.
I didn't want to go full on Evil, as that would have been...not so nice.
So I became Ebil instead.
Funnily enough, all the hassle stopped once I turned Ebil. So, since it worked for me rather well, I thought I'd keep it. Some started calling me The Ebil One, instead of just Ebil so on other sites, where Ebil was taken when I joined, I became Teh Ebil One, as someone who was good at typonese used to call me that, instead of The Ebil One, and at the time it amused me for some reason. Thankfully plain old Ebil was available here, so I don't have to stare at Teh all the time... which is nice :)

My username refers to part in a DVD released by a band in which, there is a scene where the drummer runs around by a lake chasing a swan. He mistakes it for a giant duck thus calling it a "Stallion Duck".
My first name (Mandy) means "she who must be loved." No reason behind it because it's actually just a nickname but my real first name pretty much means the same thing.

My name (Cara) means "beloved" or "friend" depending on the language. Though technically my name is Chara (it's a silent H, like in Chris) which means "Joy"

In Hebrew, my name is thought to translate as 'Bitter sea', so nice and happy...In French, (from Mary and Anne) it's translates roughly as 'Woman who God favours'.

My middle name is French, and is actually a masculine name, but is very pretty. Anyway, it means "of the sea." So, technically, I am the "Princess of the sea."

I'm sure my last name had a meaning back in the day. It is German. However, its spelling has been drastically changed because of our family's immigration in the early 1900's, so we have no idea what it means anymore, or how it was originally spelled.

I used to love stories with undercover agents in them. It wasn't until I saw someone with "Agent" in their username that I thought to use it in one of mine, though. The "HEY-LEE" is because my name is Hailey and it always made me think of someone saying, "Hey, Lee."

As for my real name, I believe Hailey means "field of hay" or "hay clearing" or... something. XD It doesn't hold any meaning. My middle name, on the other hand, is after some relative's first name. I'm not sure which, but I do know their's is spelled differently.

My user name Clair Voyant obviously comes from clairvoyant. Which means (in French) clear/light sight; which a lot of people use when referring to psychics and whatnot because they are believed to have the power of "sight".

Clair (just as a name) is a french masculine form of the name Claire, both names meaning clear/clear light/light, etc.

My real name means "noble strength." I'm not too fond of my name, though, so I prefer to go by middle name, which is Rose. I would think the meaning behind that is rather self-explanatory...

As for my username, it's essentially a Harry Potter reference, although there's a bit more to it than that. I'm sure everyone on here knows that "The Half-Blood Prince" was a title of sorts that Severus Snape gave himself as a teenager at Hogwarts. I'm always a little hesitant to say this on account of the fact that there are hundreds of obnoxious fangirls out there who love to go around making the same claim with no real justification or reasoning behind it, but... he and I are actually are quite similar. That's pretty much all there is to it, really.

My real name is Cydney, it doesn't mean a damn thing except it's a city in Australia. My mom apparently fell in love with the name when she discovered an actress called Sydney Penny. Although you'd get a slightly different story from my late father, since he died though I just go with the Sydney Penny story. Thanks a lot bitch! My name sucks, I wish I had something prettier.

When I first joined Menewsha, I was very actively enthralled with The Crow. It seemed to line up perfectly with where I was in my own journey: somewhere between life and death and the rules become a bit skewed and yet you are capable of amazing things. The Crow still ranks as one of my favourite movies, comics, and ideal figures of all time yet since then I have had new more momentary "in my face" distractions.

My username comes from two different things. In real life, my name is Mary. But in middle school and high school my circle of friends knew three different Mary's and so to tell us apart, I became Maria. My best friend STILL calls me Maria to this day and I've graduated college already lol. The Minamino parts comes from Yu Yu Hakusho. It's my favorite anime and Kurama is my favorite character...so I stole his last name. I became Maria Minamino. (Now, apparently there is a manga that has a character named Maria Minamino...but I created this name was created when I was in 8th grade....I found out about that manga when I was in 11th grade. So I randomly get people gushing that they actually found someone who likes that manga...but no...I've never read it lol).

Zerno, in russian means Seed.
My friends always asked me if my last name meant anything, so I told them and they found it cool, so they all started calling me Zerno.
One of my friends however, found that Zerno sounded a little too rude.
We took spanish class at the time, her name was Laurence and I always used to call her Lolita in spanish class, so she started calling me Zernita.
