"they killed her" she said still in shock.

Astra looked behind her then kept running, she heard her sister speak but couldn't answer.

The hunters gave up chasing them and left.

Kita was silent. she was like this when her parents were killed too. she couldn't stand death. "Bailey is gone. Just like mom and dad and brother" she said emotionless.

Astra put Kita down then said "It's alright Kita I am here for you, and I will never leave you." SHe nizzled her trying to cheer her up.

Kita looked at her sister. the only one she had left. She wasn't close to bailey but the sight of death made her act like this. She nuzzled her sister and climbed onto her back and layed down without a word.

Astra sighed then started walking back towards the way she came, knowing that they had gone the wrong way, she had just hoped that the hunters weren't checking any of their traps still.

The trail was safe. Kita stared at the trees as they passed them.

Astra continued walking and watched so that she didn't step in any traps.

Kita rubbed her paw on Astra's side case she was bored.

Astra giggled a little then said "Why don't you play with that butterfly for awhile I could use a break from walking?"

"ok" she said ad jumped down and pawed at it. It landed on her paw and she looked at it. then it flew away and she sat down and watched some of the other animals around.

Astra smiled then laid down and watched her.

Kita rolled over on her bed and watched the clouds.

Astra smiled and closed her eyes

Kita pounced on her belly and giggled.

Astra opened her eyes adn started laughing

Kita giggled and put her paws over her eyes. "where did i go" she giggled.

Astra giggled and then tackled her saying "Found you"

Kita giggled.

Astra smiled then got off her saying "Gotcha"

Kita licked her nose. "kisses" she giggled.

Astra smiled at her then said "So do you want to keep walking or do you want to stay here for the night?"

"stay here" she said.

Astra smiled then laid back down closing her eyes saying "That's good"

Kita nuzzled her belly and went to sleep.
