So, what are some weird things about yourself? Call them unique if you wish, but I'll stick to calling them weird. :lol:

Personality, body, habits. What about you is different than other people and strange? Basically, spill your quirks. :D

Something realllly weird about me is that the taste of water makes me gag. Literally. I have to try extremely hard to keep from getting the dry heaves when I take a sip of water and the taste hits my tongue. I've always been this way. Water also makes my mouth feel drier than it did before I'd drunk a glass of the stuff.

One of my thumbs also has a larger knuckle than the other because I jammed it as a kid and didn't put it right until many years later. Hehe...yeah.

The last thing I can think about at this point is the fact that one of my eyebrows is always raised higher than the other one as if I'm skeptical about something or think someone's done something idiotic. I think this goes back to the good old days of childhood when we were all told, "if you keep making that face it'll get stuck that way." Mine got stuck. ;)

I can make one eye stay still and move the other around :rofl:

This is a great thread idea, because everyone has wonderful and unique qualities that make them the person that they are!

Well my first quirk I guess you could call it, is that I snort when I laugh really hard. If something is seriously funny, or I'm being tickled relentlessly, I will snort. I cannot control it and it isn't on command like some of my friends would like. My best friend actually thinks it's cute and says he wants to record it so that he can play it back to himself when he is having a bad day.

My second one is I mumble quietly in my sleep, you would have to listen very closely to hear me. But if you started to talk to me, I would answer you and be able to have a functioning conversation with you and even answer questions. My friends think this is just great for some sleepovers, but my mom thinks it's kind of scary lol.

Uhm a physical one I can think of is, I have this very small area on my forehead that is flat and indented, it is very hard to notice, only my family notices cause they know me that well. No one know what caused it or why I have it.

Well, i guess a weird physical thing about me is that i have absolutely no sense of smell whatsoever.

I'm told I talk weird. It's my wording, I guess. I'm also told that I have an accent but no one seems to know what kind it is.

My friend thinks it's weird that I don't sing in front of people when she claims I have a good voice.

I also can pop my finger out of place then pop it back. I think I broke it at one point and it just didn't heal right.

I can't watch anything gross on TV, even cartoons that have vomit or gore and stuff like that if I'm trying to eat. It makes me sick. Is that weird? That's the only thing I can think of right now. I know I'm a weirdo haha so I'll think some more and post again later :)

It doesnt matter whats on TV, or what the conversation is about, I always can eat food.

After a big meal, all it takes is me standing up to get me hungry again.

Maybe it's not too weird, but by today's standards I think it's uncommon: I love literature--and not just in English. My favorites are riddles and short stories written in Old English (Anglo-Saxon), elvish (mainly in fantasies), and I love reading in Spanish (mainly because I'm terrible at speaking it and much more comfortable writing with it).

I like making up my own languages and words.

well, everything on the left side of my body is larger than my right side of my body (my hands, my feet, my arms, everything)

there's this thing that people say where if somebody's index finger is longer than there ring finger it means they are (or were born) a girl and if the ring finger's bigger than the index finger, it means they are (or were born) a guy. Well, on my left hand my index finger is longer than my ring finger (saying I was born a girl), and on my right hand my ring finger is longer than my index finger (saying I was born a guy)

My eyes change color alot. going from green, blue, grey, and every now and then brown. (and I'm not talking, oh, right now they look a little green, or mostly blue, I mean very obviously green, very obviously blue, and very obviously grey. the brown is rare though)

In certain lights part of my hair (which is naturally curly btw) changes color and looks golden

Most of the time I feel like a woman in a man's body (or maybe more of a woman in an androgyne's body, as I have a very feminine body type. Occasionally I'm confused for a woman, even though for the most part I don't dress like a woman)

When I was little I thought there was an invisible world (which I thusly called "the invisible") which existed alongside our own, but most people only existed in one or the other while a very small few existed in both. I've found that most of "the invisible" was just my own imagination

THIS. I can't smell ANYTHING, unless it's a really strong smell of something nice. Like, I can smell strong flowers, but I couldn't smell a maggot infested dead rat in our ceiling...

People tell me I've got a very outdated way of speaking. I mean, I speak rather well, especially for the times, where even the most simple of words are abbreviated and made to be smaller. Not to say I don't speak quickly, because I do, so this 'manner of speaking' does not hinder my ability to get something out. It comes out in my writing as well, obviously.

Oh, and I've got very sharp teeth. Sometimes others say they look as though they were manually sharpened when in actuality they have always been very pointed. I think it's strange since I cannot eat red meat. It makes me sick every time, so I have to avoid it.

Wierd things about me are I have quite a few gray hairs and I have since I was 12 and I hate it but guys think it is hot for some strange reason and I cant really dye it because 2 weeks later it comes back in full force. Another thing is ever since I was little I have always had dreams about if I spin enough I will fly and I never got that out of my head and always wish to try it one day. Lastly I always have felt like I was born in the wrong state and to the wrong family because I have always felt like a country girl and always wanted to be in the country and hated the city. Since I was little everyone comes up to me and says your not from California are you and when I say yes born and raised they are always shocked. I cant figure out why that is but I have always felt out of the loop and even strange.

My left wrist is slightly smaller than my right wrist. o.o;

I can never smell anything you point out but I can smell things either first or maybe that you may not smell. I have a small indentation on my forehead. I have constant daydreams that make me smile or frown and people think I'm crazy. I cannot sing loud. I've gone through training and I just can't.
And my favorite. . .
When I drop things my lip will twitch like I'm going to frown then correct itself like nothing happened. Every once in a while I can drop something on purpose to make it happen.

I can totes click one of my right ribs in and out....

When placed on a flat surface. I can twist my hand over 360 degrees. It grosses some people out.

THE SAME THING HAPPENS TO MY EYES AND HAIR.
People sometimes think i wear colored contacts they change so much XD I also have naturally wicked big pupils
My curly rats next of hair is red with blond highlights in the summer and copper brown in the winter (but one never truly stops being a ginger XD). Its for camouflage! Its hilarious because people come up to me and ask, "I love the highlights! Did you dye your hair?"
And i say, "Nah, i just went in the sun for twenty minuets,"

I was the same about the water! I couldn't drink it without my mouth going really dry and I didn't like the taste, however somehow I've gotten better and now I can drink it! Having it icy cold with ice cubes helps too.
