Kasimir, at first, didn't notice the two that were approaching. His gaze was locked and intense in one direction. Alistair. His friend had been gone for awhile, what was going on out there? Of course Kasimir would imagine the worst had happened..The knock shook him out of those thoughts and brought his attention to the door. Chesamai had it under control, of course she did. It was her house, though he much preffered to be in his. His own house was little, and cluttered, but there were a lot of things in it he could readily reach to fend off crazy vampires. Kasimir offered the two newcomers a smile before his attention switched back to watching out the window.
When Tessa joined him at the window, he glanced at her. For once, the German's green eyes were not sparkling with amuesment or the prospect of slipping under the sheets with any of the people near him. He only spared Tessa a short glance, his attention quickly going back to watch out the window. His voice was quiet as he whispered lightly to Tessa. "I'm worried. Alis...eh..Hiro..ought to have caught up with us by now, but I'm only worried because, he hasn't fed tonight.."

"Thank you" Tess replied to the young girl, "I am fine." Turning back to Kasimir and hearing the worry in his voice, she felt for him. She too was missing someone, her brother James, and knew what the worry felt like. She watched as the newcomers walked inside. They appeared to be human, no threat to her or the people here. Thinking again of Hiro, Tess felt it was none of her concern, he was a vampire, a sworn enemy of the human race. Still, Kasimir's saddness reminded her of her own, and Hiro had offered her protection through the streets. Her brothers face flashed before her, smiling, her sadness grew. Without realizing it she reached forward and grabbed Kasimir's hand. "I'm sure he's fine", she said to him, offering a faint smile, all the while thinking of James.

Kasimir had nodded slightly, and when she took his hand. Gently he curled his fingers around her hand, his grip firm but a bit loose. His body was tense though, as if he were ready to jump out the window, or run out the door at a moment's notice. He shouldn't have left Alistair there alone, but the vampire had told him to go. Kasimir was frowning. A serious frown on his face, was a rare sight. "...He hasn't fed yet, something could happen to cause him to lose control..." Kasimir shivered slightly. "He'd never forgive himself if he brought harm to an innocent person. Mostly he slips away from the city, he lives off the blood of animals. He hates vampires, he hates being one." He glanced at Tess. "I've heard people say that vampires have no emotions, but I know Hiro has them. I know for a fact that he feels those emotions more deeply than any human ever could, and I know how much effort it takes for him to hold back, for him to look so disinterested in the things going on around us, in this city, and I know how much it hurts him when he can't save someone when the chance presents itself. It nearly kills him. I should be out there with him." Those eyes had narrowed and were watching out the window again.

Beyond slowly opened his eyes with a yawn and registered his suroundings. A human would be sleeping for a while after his injuries but he was not human. He registered Tessa was gone but ignored the fact. She was probably wondering around the house or found Chesamai and Kasimir. After he took a very fast shower and changed clothes he went down stairs and to the kitchen. He pushed a few buttons on a pad on the wall and a safe opened up. It was filled with packaged blood. He took one and closed the safe before emptying it into a baby bottle and going to the living room with it where everyone was. He saw the new people but didn't register that they would care he was drinking blood yet.

When Kasimir had said that Hiro had emotions and wanted to save people she felt her heart sadden again. She wondered how many vampires like Hiro she had killed. "Kasimir, if you want, we can go and find him. I'll help you bring him back." She heard hearself talking but couldn't believe she was really offering to venture back out into the darkness to look for a vampire.

Kasimir shook his head, but he was torn. Alistair told him to go with these people and remain until he came for him. Vampires were still running about out there, if he went out, even if Tessa was with him. The chances of the two of them surviving long enough to make it back to Alistair were slim. "It's still too dangerous for us humans to be out and about. I'm sure..I'm sure he'll be alright.." Kasimir sounded almost half sure and looked even less sure. What if the vampire Alistair was speaking with had decided to attack him? Of course Alistair would fight back, but would he win? Kasimir shook his head and squeezed Tessa's hand breifly. "I'll wait, a bit longer."

Tess and Kasimir were still standing in front of the window when the lights began to flicker. She hoped the lights would return so that they could all rest a little easier. It was a sort of strobe effect and then, there was light! The generator had apparently been repaired. Tess let go of Kasimir's hand. She feared what the streets would hold.

Mizu sighed as she felt more than saw the lights flicker back on. Now she could get back to her tech hunt. Slipping out of an abandoned building she'd used to hide, she looked around, double checking that no vampires were around. Seeing none, she stepped out fully, brushing dust off the jumpsuit she was wearing, the top part tied around her waist, showing the bandeau top. The pant legs shoved into black leather boots. Readjusting the strap to her knapsack, she took off down some alleyways, barely paying any of the bodies a glance. Except...She paused and looked back, blue eyes landing on the form of a prone child, possibly no older than 7. Next to the child was a mangled shape of a woman, possibly late 20's. It was a sad sight, and while she gave some respect to the dead, she snatched up the slightly damaged electronics; a black cased laptop, a touch screen phone, and an mp3 player. Whispering a soft thank you, and ignoring the urge to grab the purse that most likely contained money that she could really use, she didn't. She could find other ways to make a quick buck.
Leaving the alleyways to the main part of the city, she sighed as she realized that out here it wasn't any better than the back ways. Although out here she might find a few rich snobs either lying dead or dying, and wouldn't feel as bad stealing from them as she would the small family in the alley. She stayed close to buildings as she walked, side-stepping bodies, never venturing further than the street pavement as she didn't want to be caught away from cover in case the lights went out again. Her nerves were suddenly getting to her as she ran gloved hands through her shoulder length blue hair then fidgeting with the velcro of those same black leather fingerless gloves. She hated that her hair was so short, but it was either cut her hair or die when she had been attacked by a rabid vampire. "God I hope he isn't caught in this mess." She said to herself, finding a nice place to pause, the outside of a cafe, and tried to boot up the laptop, grinning as the screen flickered to life for a few seconds before it turned black. That wiped the grin off, faint light from the screen outlining the web of cracks on the surface. Well it wasn't a complete fail, all she had to do was find an alternative viewing source and she could do her thing.

Michael stepped out onto the balcony of his suite and took a deep breath of fresh air dressed in pants and shoes with a towel around his neck, about ready to pass out. It had taken him a while, but after he had picked the bones clean he had washed the bathroom, his utensils, mixed chemicals he had brough up by his guards in order to disolve the bones, disposed of the chemicals, and then taken a thorough shower. Now he simply looked at the city, disgusted by the apparent and wholly visible death all around and back to strength physically, but mentally drained. He was about to turn away and phone some room service to get real food now that the Eye was satisfied, but was distracted when he spotted Mizu and leaned in, thinking, Wow, she's... beautiful. She looks lonely as well. Hmm, I wonder if she's a vampire? If so she may make another useful tool like the other two, but if not... could she be a possible, future Queen of England, I wonder? He grinned and tossed the towel on the bed and grabbed a shirt and his sword, putting on the former and belting on the latter before going out to the balcony and jumping off, the Eye of God flaring brightly just before he touched down on the ground, his telekinesis allowing him to land with complete silence behind her, the Eye dimming to it's low, normal glow as he said, "Hey there madamoiselle, how are you this fine, black night?"

"Gah!" She yelped, coming to her feet quickly and turning, hands suddenly a knife as she looked at the person behind. Breathing hard for a few moments as she just stared at the male, she sighed and stood in a more relaxed position, the knife still in her hands at her side. "Jesus H. Christ man...Did you want to give me a heartattack?" She snapped, more angry she hadn't been aware enough to notice him earlier. She leaned forward to set her chair right after it had fallen from her sudden movement, stuffing the closed laptop in her bag which she shouldered. She didn't trust this person, hell she didn't trust anyone really, and she was very distrustful and even a little creeped she hadn't heard him come up to her. She sighed, pushing her paranoia to the background as she thought back to his question. She was tempted to just not answer him, but thought better of it. Might actually get to keep her head or blood. "M'alright. Glad the generator is back up. Not really wise to travel in complete darkness if you can't see." She replied, shrugging softly as her right had disappeared behind her back to play with the strings that kept her bikini top in place. "You?" She asked as an afterthought, figuring on being polite.

Michael shrugged, saying, "Not so much for me, I've been able to see in the dark for a while now," the Eye flared a bit at this statement as he smiled, "Sorry for scaring you, I just happened to notice you and thought I should see if you were what you seemed to be." He bowed slightly and said, "Allow me to introduce myself, the name is Michael Khallos, what's yours?" He thought to himself, Well, it seems like she isn't a vampire, but if a knife is all she has to defend herself with then she is either a master combatant, or ill prepared for an encounter with monsters.

She shivered when she saw the flash, something about it just didn't feel right about it. His comment about checking to see if she was what she seemed caused her to frown, an eyebrow twitching in anger. "Did I meet your standards then Mr. Khallos?" She growled, defensive suddenly. From that alone she figured he had to be a hunter, if not a vampire himself, and either were dangerous to her. Twirling the small blade in her left hand, she tossed it over her shoulder for her right to grab and place back in its sheath. She stuffed her now free hand in her pocket, fingertips brushing against the handle of the short sword she had strapped to her thigh. She again considered not replying, but again thought better against it. He wasn't at all acting like other males she'd come across, and did at least deserve reciprocated politeness. "Mizu. Mizu Tatsumaki. Why are you here?" She questioned, hoping he would understand she didn't mean there with her, but just in the area in general.

Michael shrugged, saying, "Nothing much, just visiting the country from good 'ol England. I hope you didn't take my comment regarding being what you seemed the wrong way Ms. Tatsumaki, I simply was wondering if whether or not you were the type of individual who can only dealth with following Stoker's instruction manual." He chuckled pleasantly, trying to ease the tension in Mizu and said, "So, what about you Ms. Mizu Tatsumaki, why are you here? Your name certainly doesn't sound American, are you also a visitor from across an oceon, or are you a desendent of someone who was?"

She shivered lightly from a chilly breeze, but didn't want to compromise her attacks by untying the top half and pulling it up. "Descended and part visitor. My father had decided to move and bring his business overseas. Both of them." She murmured the last part, and hoped the other wouldn't question her too hard on it. Her father ran a rather successful tech company, both here and their previous home. "Right now, I'm just collecting gadgets." She shrugged, looking away to the distance, spotting the warehouse she had been using as a base to do most of her tech experiments. She was so close to a breakthrough, but it was hard going since she had to constantly steal laptops for the batteries so she could hopefully work through a failure of the generator. She nibbled her bottom lip, it would certainly take her a while to get back to it, and much as she wanted the project done now, it could wait.

Michael stroked his chin in thought, saying, "Hmm, gadgets eh? Is that a hobby of yours or are you doing it for your job? Either way, I can't allow you to stand around in this chilly breeze. May I offer you a warm beverage? My hotel is right over there across the street and they have a restaurant on the main floor," he turned around and pointed across the street at the city's most luxurious and expensive hotels, usually reserved for visiting peoples of importance, such as him, and it had several security guards stationed around it and constant lighting, even during the black out due to it's own generator. Michael gave a charming grin and offered his arm, saying, "I would very much like to know more about you, Ms. Tatsumaki, please, allow me to get you something to warm you up."

Chesamai tapped at the coffee table as she sat next to Beyond. She was super bored and she was waiting for the generators to come on. "The generators have been on Chesamai." Chesamai perked up and hugged him before getting up and hurrying to her room. She hanged her clothes from something fight worthy and into something girly. She grabbed her purse and headed outside and back into town. She noticed Michael on her way and chose to ignore him. No use picking a fight with someone she didn't want to make an enemy of. She passed him and the girl he was talking to and headed straight to the amusement park. Once she was inside it was time for the rides.

Mizu fidgeted, shuffling from foot to foot as she debated his offer. 'Screw it. I'm getting this stuff free...' She thought to herself before nodding, hesitantly looping her arm with his. "Ok." She didn't like the thought of him questioning her, but she could always just ignore the question or refuse to answer. He couldn't torture the answers from her, at least she hoped not. She still bore the scars from her father's so called punishment, the lattice work decorated her back. She recalled how he had laughed at how elegant the lines had looked. He hadn't laughed for very long before she retaliated and brought him to his knees. She shivered again, but this time not because she was cold.

Michael smiled and led her past the guards and into the luxurious lobby, practically a different planet compared to the dirty streets outside. He led her over to a restaurant area where he spotted his two guards just as they spotted him. They ran over and bowed, one of them saying, "There you are, your highness, we were wondering when you would be getting in. You had us somewhat worried." Michael shook his head, saying, "No need to worry about me gentlemen. Now, how about the two of you go ahead to the suite and get some rest, I would like a few words with my new friend here." The guards nodded and bowed before heading off as Michael led Mizu to a table, chukling as he said, "Bodyguards, as annoyingly fussy as a mother, but without the sentimental attachment, am I right? He grinned jokingly at Mizu as he pulled out the chair for her.

Highness? She felt her eyes widen at that, following to the table and sitting in the chair he'd pulled out. "I wouldn't know really. Never had any." She admitted softly, suddenly feeling self-conscious over her severely underdressed state. Looking around, she wondered what would happen to her. She steeled herself for some eventual wrong to occur, after all the last time she'd met a gentleman, he had wanted to sell her on the slave market. "So you're pretty important, enough to have others calling you higness?" She questioned, more like whispered really. She never did like fancy very well, she never did fell completely comfortable and couldn't be herself.

Michael chuckled as he went around the table to his seat, signaling for a waiter as he said, "Yes, I suppose that deserves explanation. I am Michael Khallos, crown prince of England and heir to the throne. I usually mention it during greeting, but, I don't know, I just felt a sense of comfort around you and didn't think of it as important. I'm sorry though, it was quite un-gentlemanly of me to keep something like that out of an initial greeting, I do hope you'll forgive me." The waiter came over and Michael looked from the waiter to Mizu, nodding to her and saying, "Ladies first, I promised you a beverage and I will deliver, but if you're feeling famished as well don't hesitate to order whatever you please, I know I will."

She waved away his apology. Considering what she wanted, she was famished actually. "8 oz sirloin, medium rare, fresh satueed vegetables and butter rolls if you have them. I'll also take a virgin strawberry daiquiri." She watched the waiter write it down, though he seemed hard pressed to not stare at her. Leaning back in her chair, she leveled a glare at him. Just because she dressed as such did not mean she had to take his crap, she knew proper manners, her family had been affluent as she grew up. Looking back to Micheal, she let an easy smile grow. "It's fine, not like I had asked your occupation. And that could be considered an occupation." She said, shrugging.

The lights flickered and came back on. The sudden glare caused Alistair to his. His eyes sweeping over Weston after they quickly recovered from the sudden brightness. "We should, I think, seek cover in darkness and perhaps part ways here." That was all he said before he stepped back a few steps, turned and moved off in the direction Kasimir and the others had gone. It was easy to follow the trail, he had kasimir's scent memorized so it was easy to follow the German's trail. Alistair had started off at a normal walk and quickly tapped into that speed that most if not all, vampires could use. In moments he was at the mansion. Slowing enough to be seen clearly from the windows as he approached the door.
Kasimir had remained silent, even when the lights came back on. He flinched slightly at what he saw, but he knew that the bloodshed in the streets before the house were not nearly half as bad as what lay deeper in the city. Still, when Tess let go of his hand, he quickly reached up to cover her eyes with one hand while he drew the cutain's close with the other. "It's best not to look upon such things." He said the words quietly and let his hand drop. Though he held the curtains open just enough for him to see out the window. He hardly registered that Chesamai had changed and fluttered out the door. Minutes later, Alistair was coming towards the door. "Finally." Kasimir practically skipped from the window to the door. Opening it just as Alistair reached it. The German grinned as Alistair slipped in past him.

Weston tipped his brow and disappeared into the darkness. He had his ways of getting through the darkness and avoiding the hunters. He had to admit, Tessa was on his mind. He ran through to his place and locked himself into a room. Oddly enough his senses could still lock onto to them. They were... near by. Odd, I had never sensed her before, he thought. He got down on his knees and prayed over his alter to his Goddess. He was asking for forgiveness as his stomach rumbled.
Aidan hid behind a pillar in the mansion that him and his sire had. It was a beautiful thing. Luxury at its best. Nothing was too good for Aidan. It all seemed to drop into his lap. Just the way he deserved it but lately his sire has been getting on his last nerve. Making deals with humans? "Sire, if I may, are you sure you want to make this deal with the human," he smiled at Brent who was sitting on the dark stairwell.
Brent looked up from his own thoughts. He bared his fangs at his partner, if he could even call Aidan that. "I told you already! If he double crosses us, we will kill him but for now he is giving us meals! I could care less about the vampires he kills! They aren't with us so why should I? You shouldn't care either and, may I add, you need to get used to my plans."

Michael turned to the waiter and ordered a salad, fish and chips, and mint tea. As the waiter headed off with their orders Michael turned back to Mizu and said, "Well, I don't really consider it an occupation. After all, I really don't have any duties other than a standing order of 'don't embarass the crown' and I certainly won't be doing that at any point. That last thing I need is the British crown to be frowned upon if my plan is to come to fruition. For a few years now I've been putting together a plan that would help not only the Europe region, but the whole world, a plan that will return light and hope to our dark world." He looked up as the waiter came back with their drinks, setting them on the table before leaving again. Michael blew on the tea slightly before taking a sip, shook his head, added a few cubes of sugar, sipped again and nodded in satisfaction. He looked at Mizu and asked, "So why would a lovely lady like you go through all the trouble of collecting seemingly broken laptops and gadgets? I noticed the cracked screen before you put it away."

((Here we go Happydeath! lets see what we can do XD))
Arivagus growled and rushed them all inside the building before they were burned by the light. His apartment had no windows and was decorated very sparingly and cheaply for someone who had recently started a fight over furniture. The two vampires did not mind much. Once the old vampire was sure that he wasnt about to burst into flames, he let out a sigh of relief and looked at the boy, puzzled by the sudden one eighty turn of character. He arched one dark eyebrow in confusion and turned to face his young companion. Cyril just shrugged, equally unsure of what to make of the other vampires mood swings. Arivagus huffed lightly, not impressed at all by his fledgling follower, before turning back to the bleeding boy in his grasp.
“Well, certainly, I find pleasure in harming the wretched human race. Why shouldn’t I?” He smiled, almost politely at the boy, and tilted his head upwards with a superior and regal look to him, “You seem to have given up on your little anger bust. The preacher has returned,” He laughed, “I say boy, your ether a very, very good actor or you’re wholly traumatized. Poor little thing. Either way… I have no urge to hurt my own kind. I will kill humans, but only for sustenance and to reach our goal. You must make the distinction between the two. I harm the humans to help our kind. It’s an act of compassion. I have no quarrels with the humans surviving as a species, they are our cattle after all, but they don’t deserve their power. And…now that nature has taken our favor…I think we’ll take her little tip of the hat to us and rise. Yes I kill them, I eat them, I must do so to survive…but that’s nature. Deny your nature and nature will deal you a wicked hand.”
Arivagus continued his polite smile and loosened his grip on the young vampires arms, though he did not let go completely at first, “And, just to clarify, I for one do not condone a lengthy death for any innocent human…” he shot a glare at Cyril, making it very clear that he was not just talking to the young vampire in his hand,“So long as they are innocent, their deaths at my hand are swift, merciful, a death that I would have wished for many of my kin who were not so fortunate…”
He pulled away from the preacher then, his arm falling limply at his side with a look of utter sadness on his face. He looked back up at him, his eyes were glassy as if he were about to cry.
“They’ve harmed me back you see... In a greater way, I believe. Because they haven’t just killed, they’ve tortured my kin. Savagely stabbed them, burned them, drowned them, cut their heads off and sliced out their hearts. Why? Because they think were monsters, and we are. But only because they make us that way. Stupidity made them fearful, and when human’s mob…they are a more horrible force than a dozen of even the most brutish vampires even with all their gifts,” He was beginning to hiss a bit now, his calm friendly demeanor falling in the face of his anger, “When your race is going extinct…you’ll know what it feels like to have this,” He waved his arm around at the dark sky, “The ability to walk outside in the very height of the day…and know that you are…free… I want all my kin to feel that…So, my followers and I…work hard to keep it like this. One day soon, we will have it like this forever. And when the young vampires and vampirisms of this world look up and wonder…’Who is so kind to have given us this?’ and I’ll step up, perhaps ill rule…perhaps I won’t need to,” He smiled, “But in the end we’ll have a new world…a new life free of fear.”
