I partially don't want to know... poor ERT... i was there when someone stabbed another person with a knife in a hotel room, and when another person thought it was ok to jump from story to story in the HYATT

The only con's by Jex are probably the world convention for plastic bags or something like that. ((not that I have anything against plastic bags mind you...))

Irt - I know - they have it tough... just don't join IRT's team! ;)

Not for hours worth of travel. I'm in the upper middle part of Kansas. It's quite the drive to Kansas City, and I had to take a two day TRAIN to Chicago the one time I went. That's 'spensive.

chicago has alot of con's, but there are normally smaller ones around the rest of the U.S. NDK is in denver, and utah I know has one too.

Registration - since it closes when the vendor hall does - I didn't have to worry about missing the nightlife!

hm yeah, though I heard last year registration on wednesday was open another 4 hours past when it was suppose to close.

And I like shopping too much to miss dealer hall.

Oddly enough, a greyhound bus ticket is MORE EXPENSIVE than going by Amtrax train out here - or getting a cheap plane ticket elsewhere. They USED to be the cheapest way to travel, and they're still riding on that reputation. But if you do some price comparison, it's scary.

Also - what about starting your own convention!

wow, here megabus is cheap, like super cheap. train costs as much as flying for me to get home..

Hello Hello! How is everyone?

You just have to look for con's in your area. And remember about volunteering if you can't afford it! Sometime (not most of the time but sometimes) the dealers room has discounts for volunteers as well!
