I doubt anyone would plagiarize. Besides, just because you use the same idea doesn't mean the end result is the same. I mean, there's a lot of re-imaginings of fairy tales, for instance. Which reminds me, I should be working on a story I'm writing with vgrace.

Me too! I'm actually working on two right now. One a gender reversed Beauty and the Beast and the other one a re-imagining of Sleeping Beauty.

I have at least 5 different versions of Cinderella that I have story ideas for. Some of them are crap, and other have deviated a lot.
