"Something happened to Sweet Pea so Frost took me there since I passed out when I found out. We stayed there for awhile and I'll let Frost explain why he wanted Flare to come to the colony. He needs to talk to you about it anyway" she answered.

Void looked curious, but didn't push anymore. He relaxed and just waited for her to sleep so her could get started on something he was working on before he'd sat down.

Thankful that Void'd finally stopped asking questions, Kara closed her eyes and allowed sleep to overtake her.

Frost came inside with Flare about an hour later. Void was woodworking in the backyard. Flare went out to hang out with him and help. Flare sighed and looked at the sleeping Kara with worry.

He was here...There he was... She could feel him. Kara sighed, but didn't open her eyes just yet "did you find her alright?" she asked him before she opened her eyes so he would know she wasn't just sleep talking. Thankfully, she felt a lot better. Now it was time to talk to him.

Frost nodded slightly. "She was wandering downtown. Not the best place, but she was alright."

"That's good. At least she's safe" she muttered as she lunged on her cloud. "Why did you do that? Back in the store, that is" she asked. She had to know.

Frost rubbed the back of his head. "Flare and I were thinking of a present for Sweet Pea, but we wanted it to be a surprise."

"A surprise from me? Fine, tell me you don't want to tell me, don't ignore me. As Flare discovered, and maybe you as well, it hurts to be ignored" Kara shot back, though did it softly. "I just... I wanted to know what you thought... I wanted your opinion" she whispered, feeling the tears come back as she recalled the hurt that she felt. In response, she turned away, her back facing Frost.

Frost sighed and walked up to her, wrapping his arms around her in a tight but gentle hug. "I promise. I will not ignore you anymore...I'm sorry I hurt you."

Kara whined when Frost picked her up, but didn't fight it. She laid her head on his chest and relaxed, tracing tittle designs on his chest. "How's Flare?" she asked.

Frost kissed his head softly. "She was a little upset, but she's alright. Things that happened today and that just send her reeling."

Kara sighed softly "yeah... I can understand that. But she made the situation worse. She yelled at me when I was already upset which made it even worse. I came home in tears and I eventually just went to sleep... again... because I was so exhausted. I can understand why she was upset, and I was too, I just couldn't calm down" she responded, her voice bordering the sound it makes when she's holding back tears.

Frost gently held her and looked her in the face. "Kara, it was just a misunderstanding, alright? Calm down, k? Flare was sorry she snapped at you."

"I know, I know. That's why I had to get away so I could calm down. None of us were going to calm down around each other. I just needed you to know what was going on with me so you understand. I don't want us to be fighting tomorrow, but I'm afraid something will happen and we'll be at each other's throats again, or something... it seems to be a pattern" Kara admitted.

Frost thought about it for a moment, then nodded. "Most of our fights have been from misunderstanding. So, maybe if we both tried to be more clear, then it would work."

Kara inhaled deeply "I hope so" she whispered. She still felt like she was half asleep, so it was no surprise to her when she fell asleep.

Frost chuckled softly and carried her to the couch, laying her down and giving her a blanket. She then went out back to talk with Void and Flare about the pixies and Sweet Pea's present.

After awhile, Kara woke up with a horrible crick in her back "ow" she whimpered. This made sense when she found out the reason for her pain: she'd slept on a couch, not a cloud. She stood up and stretching, cracking her back in the process. After a bit of wandering around, she found Frost and sat in his lap "hello" she greeted.

Frost heard Kara before she found him. "Cover it up." He ordered Void, who threw a veil of darkness over it. Frost smiled at Kara and kissed her cheek. "How're you dear?"

She could sense the deceit so she looked at Frost with a glare but then moved one, she was too sore to care. "I'm very sore. I had a cloud... you should've put me back on that" she whined.

Frost blinked and nuzzled her gently. "I could give you a massage, if you'd like."

Kara smiled and positioned herself so he could "yes!" she said as she settled in, waitng for the luxurious feeling of the aches and pains going away.

Frost chuckled softly and set to work. He moved his muscular hands over her neck, shoulders, back and lower back. As he did so, he looked at Void. "Tell her what you said about the pixie petition." Void grinned and shook his head. "I don't think she'd really want to hear that."

Kara melted under Frost's touch and lazily looked at Void "tell me. If you think I don't want to hear it, then I definitely want to hear it" she answered.
