Void couldn't help but grin. "I told him that it was a hopeless enderver. Trying to get the counsil to see reason. But, that'd I'd be there to offer any support I can. But. I'm not wiping away any tears or having people cry on my shoulder. That's their job."

Kara nodded lazily, feeling like goo underneath Frost's fingers "of course you won't. I didn't expect you to. I've been against the council for a long time, but if we have DNA evidence supporting our case, it'll be harder to ignore our case" she answered "Oh... oh... right there... oooooo" she moaned.

((My computer crashed. Don't have money to fix it. Will only be on when I can get to the library.))

Frost chuckled softly. "It'll all work out. The council likes eating them, but wouldn't dispute the evidence. There are too many people that would get upset."

Kara shuddered at the thought of anyone eating a pixie, because it immediately made her think of someone... eating... Sweet Pea. "Frost, sweetheart, please do not speak of such things. It upsets me to think that Sweet Pea could be caught in the next collection... that she was almost caught in this collection" she said, putting a hand to her head.

((No worries. Do what you can. Fun fact: I almost made Kara speak in a Shakespeare-esque style because I'd just returned from a performance of "all's well that ends well" so the speech patterns are still prevalent in my mind))

Frost nodded and nuzzled her gently. "I apologize. I meant no harm to your feelings."

Kara sighed and rested her head against Frost "I know... I know" she whispered, focusing on his heart beat.

Frost smiled and kissed her head softly. Flare looked around, then nodded to Void. Void took the hidden object and vanished into darkness with it.

Kara's head whipped up at the feeling of movement. Being a wind fairy, she is acutely aware of any objects that air has to go around. She looked around "where's Void... and whatever you guys were hiding from me for a very good reason, I'm sure?" she asked, confusion on her face. "Just so you know... I don't need details, I'm just disconcerted that he disappeared all of a sudden. You can be as vague as you deem necessary" she added so they'd feel better about giving her a vague answer.

Flare just grinned at Kara. "Well. He took it somewhere else." That's all she was going to get from her. Frost just stayed quiet.

Kara shrugged "alright. I have to ask, fully aware I'm not likely to get that much of an answer, though... what could you possibly be planning for SWEET PEA that you have to also keep a secret from ME!?!" she asked. it was truly perplexing.

Flare just gave her an innocent smile. She said absolutely nothing.

Kara pouted "you're no help" she muttered and turned to Frost, turning her pout to max power "you'll give me an answer... right?" she whimpered. Honestly, she wanted AN answer, not a DETAILED one. what was so wrong about answering her with a riddle? 1) It'd satisfy her curiosity, and 2) it'd keep her entertained until tomorrow as she tried to solve the riddle. By the time she figured it out, she'd be at Sweet Pea's party and then the puzzle would make complete sense.

Frost looked back at her, then kissed her softly. "It's nothing to worry about dear. Just be patient. You'll know tomorrow."

Mmm... yummy. Wait, no! Kara pouted and turned around, crossing her arms in annoyance "fine!" she huffed and stomped off. She wasn't completely serious, of course. Yeah she was upset, but she was really, in truth, just being over-dramatic. Kara hopped onto a cloud and floated around, laying on her belly as she read a book.

Flare looked at Frost and couldn't help but giggle at the silliness that Kara was displaying.

"You're making fun of me" Kara observed in a dead tone, her eyes focused on her book "Believe me, I act in all seriousness" she added. Alright, so maybe that was only half true. But she was still mostly serious!!

Flare chuckled. "Well. Even if you ARE being serious. You still act so silly."

"Hmph" Kara huffed and turned to Frost "what's for dinner, it's getting late" she asked, floating her cloud over to him.

Frost looked at Flare. "She does the cooking when she's here. She won't let me touch the food." Flare stuck out her tongue at him.

Kara sighed softly and floated over to Flare, circling her lazily "Very wall, then... what's for dinner? It's getting late" she asked, her tone slightly reflecting her irritation over having to ask the question one more time.

Flare thought for a moment, then looked at Frost. "What about roast? No...should've started that hours ago."

Kara sighed as she listened to Flare "right, well I'm still exhausted, despite the fact I've practically been sleeping all day, so I'm going to bed, wake me up when dinner's done. How about something pasta?" she suggested as she began to float her cloud over to the couch.

Flare perked up when she mentioned pasta. She went and plopped down on Frost's lap and spoke excitedly, but quiet enough not to disturb Kara.

After what seemed like an eternity, but was probably only an hour or so, Kara blinked her eyes open, resigning to the fact that she was finally awake. Deciding that her cloud was too comfy to leave, she floated it around the house, looking for someone, anyone, preferably Frost. Still groggy, Kara smiled excitedly and gently lowered herself onto his lap so she could cuddle "hello, my love" she greeted with a sigh of contentment.

Flare had darted off to cook, as Frost sat and watched the sky. He was content to just sitting there. Blinking when Kara came to him, he wrapped his arms loosely around her. "How did your nap turn out?"
