Have any of you guys read the Animorphs books? :3
They're like, the steps between childrens books and young adult books. They were a really important part of my life when I was younger. :'D
I seriously love Tobias.
What are your favourite characters? <3

Man, I haven't read those books in years 0.0
I just loved Ax. Tobias too. And Cassie. And Marco...I can't choose! They were all awesome.
I never did get to read all the books and never read the final ones. I had to look it up online to see how it ended.

I remember it from my childhood! :D It was like Replica and other popular series at that time, they had dozens of books in them! O.O I never finished this series, does anyone want to spoil the ending? =3

Alrighty, but It'll be brief, I don't remember details really.

SPOILERX

In one last fight against the head worm/leech things (I can't remember what they were called) Rachel dies, and the other animorphs have to leave earth and go to ax's home planet.

I loved those books. I read every single one of them, and I remember being sad when the series ended. XD I still have my entire collection of them. Maybe one day I will go back and read them again if I ever have time to. To think I had so much time to read when I was in middle school. I remember sometimes I'd read two or three of those books in one day.

I don't remember much about that.

I read a book or two....and watched a bit of the series, but other than that...don't remember much of anything.

I really couldn't get into either the books or the tv series (it aired on YTV for a while).

The only thing that I did with those books was look at the person morphing into a animal (the only book I have is the woman to a cheetah) in the corner.

Kinda regret not finishing that series... was interesting.
Little bit awkward if people saw a 22 y/o reading it though

I remember those! They used to be my favourite books as a kid. I read most of them but I never got around to the ending... I used to have a very large collection but I've since traded them in at used book stores and the like. I kinda want to reread them because I know how it ends but never got to experience it.

Oh! The craziest twist for me...

SPOILERX

Was when it was revealed that Marco's mom is like, the head hancho of the yerks. Like... Visser 1 or something. o.o I was all like 'sayWHU-?!'

OMG! I remember that! I was horrified. How could something evil spawn something so awesome?

Animorphs was a book series which really propelled me into reading a primary school. I made the mistake of reading the second one first. However this series (and Goosebumps) very rapidly changed me from someone who despised reading to someone who loved it!

I know, wasn't it crazy?! I think that was my first ever 'What a twist!' moment. Like... ever.

It was also the first series that really got me into reading. Animorphs and Redwall lol. I still go to my Redwall collection every once in a while... I eat through them so fast though.

God I love the Animorphs series. I used to hate reading until I found it. I haven't exactly stopped since. It absolutely makes my life that they're republishing them. Books one, two, and three have been republished so far, and book four is out this month I believe.

I think this is a perfect time to be republishing them. There's a perfect generation gap between those of us who have already read them and its targeted age group. As it stands, they're only republishing the first six books, but I'm hoping that if sales go well, they do more of them.

And my favourite character was Tobias, followed closely by Ax

Tobias and Ax were amazing. But I admit, they kinda put me off cinnamon buns. I'm always worried about how I'll end up if I eat one...

I remember this series, but not very much. All I remember clearly was the cover illustrations.
