I know that for some of you it's probably not even in your minds yet...but for people like me who are moving back to school a couple of weeks early it's a bit freaky: Summer is almost over :( and that means school is almost here again.

I'm 'kinda excited for it again, to get another year under my belt and such. But what I am really excited for is, back to school shopping. It's great! I love going and buying pencil cases, pens and pencils erasers, sticky notes, etc..etc. This year I have to get some new clothes and a new backpack and stuff.

But ya it is my favourite time to go shopping. What about you guys, do you like back to school shopping?

I love back to school shopping! I haven't done it in a while because we recycle school stuff, so the new stuff is for my brother now, but I loved it when I could afford to say "I need this! And that! And that!" and then have that new notebook smell and to puncture my name in the eraser with a pen. XD

Ahhh, good times...

I love it! School supplies is the coolest stuff. I have in mind to be a teacher someday so when my mom showed me a teachers' catalog, I went crazy! It's so much fun! I mean, I want rainbow colored finger pointers and waterproof glow in the dark counting blocks!! Hahaha (I made up the last one, I think)

I no longer attend school. I graduated in 2005. But I love school supply shopping!

This time of year I go out and stock up on pens, post-its, pencils, index cards, and paper supplies. I got the CUTEST Hello Kitty pencil case the other day at Walmart. Unfortunately, I missed the No-Tax Holiday this year.

Well I wont be happy to go back to school this year because that will mean that I have failed my exams and missed out on university...I'll find out in just over a week.

The only thing I liked about going back to school was seeing the friends I didn't spend any time with in the summer.

I have yet to start mine... >.> I'm most worried about getting this semester's books. D: They're gonna cost me a pretty penny. But I'm excited about getting the other supplies I need. :boogie: I love getting fresh note books and new pens. :) There is just something about late summer/early autumn that's GREAT!

I did my back to school shopping at the beginning of summer if you're talking about school supplies. I had summer school, so...yah.

I just did my clothes shopping, so I'm set except for the fact that I now either need to buy more mechanical pencils or find the ones I've lost over the last year.

I love this kind of shopping. Always have, always will. It's like buying the beginning pages of a story book. :) What will this pencil write? What will this dress see when I wear it? A new love? A broken heart? Or just several days of studying in front of a warm fire? I love it. I love it a lot.

Would always do my back to school shopping when there were lists up, did that through middle school. In high school I just got what I needed, like pens, paper, and all that stuff, and then went to school. If I needed clothes or extra supplies, I'd get them when I needed to get them.

I have not backed to school shopped since high school. All my community college has really required me to buy are books. The one exception is the one time took a drawing class. Obviously I needed supplies rather than books. I am taking a Life Drawing class this semester but I still have most of my supplies from the first art class. So I don't expect to have to buy many more if any.

I'm starting college on the 22nd so I don't know what all I need just yet, but I have bought some new clothes. Honestly, I dread shopping. Even if I spend two hours in a store, I still come out with very little to show for it. Not to mention, when I return with the stuff, some people say things like, "You should keep the tags on and try those on again just to see if you really like them." I mean, really? I don't buy things I don't like. :stare:

Personally, I do enjoy shopping and I don't at the same time.
I'm very self conscious, I always feel ugly in whatever I pick out.
On the other hand the inner girl in me enjoys it because, well its kind of fun to shop for new stuff.
I do have to say, I enjoy shopping more for school supplies.

I haven't been back to school shopping in years. But my daughter will be starting school in I guess, five years? Haha so I'll come back and let you know then! Just keeding :) I used to hate it though. I hated the smell of the supplies isle, and knowing that summer was over... nothing about it was anything I miss!
