Fenris wasn't. "Drake's dying, and Night says that she knew where the cure is. It's in a city however, so only the two of us are going sir." Even though Mason kept telling him not to, Fenris kept calling him sir, partly out of habit, partly out of the respect he had for the man.

Mason was shocked and surprised by what he was told though nodded in approval. "okay just be careful... and just to be safe... you know the rules for now... it's not so much a precaution anymore... it's for her own safety." he said softly at the end meaning about the rules that they had when they brought Night there... she wasn't supposed to see the entrance nor know where it was at... at least not yet... not until everyone settled to the idea of her being there at least.

Fenris nodded, and said, "Thank you sir. And I will be sure to follow the rules." He looked at Night and said, "Are you sure you're still willing to go through with this?"

"Of course... I don't want him to die nor anyone for that matter." Night said softly and wondered some what rules they were talking about though figured that it really didn't involve her so she wouldn't ask.... right now anyway.

Fenris nodded, and took Night by the hand again. He lead to somewhere near the cars, and blindfolded her. "Sorry," he said unhappily, "Mason and I came up with a few rules to make people feel better about you being around and this is one of them." He led her to a car, and put her in the passenger side seat. Buckling her in, he said, "I'll take off your blindfold as soon as i can. So just bear with it for now okay?" Hopping into the driver seat, he drove off.

Night was a little surprised when she felt the blindfold come over her eyes though she stayed calm as she felt Fenris take her hand and lead her to the car then sat where he had her sit. "It's okay... I understand that the others don't trust me." she said softly then just relaxed into the seat some closing her eyes since she really wouldn't be looking at anything. "I'd hate to ask this but... when we get closer to the city could I drive so there's no way that you could be caught? If I drive and we somehow get pulled over they'll do nothing about it but if you drive and we get pulled over... they'll know and they'll probably kill you or hurt you for 'kidnapping me' more then likely..." she asked softly and hoped that he understood where she was coming from and that he would let her since she clearly didn't want him getting hurt.

Fenris nodded. Then realizing that she probabally couldn't hear him, said "Sure, that's fine by me." When they got a mile away, he stopped the car and removed her blindfold. "here, While we're stopped, why don't we switch now?"

"Okay." Night said softly as she unbuckled herself and got out then went around to his side and waited. she thought that maybe it would be best if he wasn't sitting in the front so he couldn't be seen at all but then again he might want to sit there just in case something were to happen... she wasn't sure really.

Fenris opened the door for her, and the moved to the back. Carefully placing his shot gun on the seat, he lay down by the floorboards so that he'd be harder to spot. "Ready when you are." he said uncomfortably.

Night looked back at him a bit worriedly thinking some. "If there's a cover back there you could probably lay on the back seat instead... it's sure to be more comfortable then that." she said softly as she looked at him and waited for him before she would start driving to the city she knew was close.

Looking around, Fenris found a thermal blanket. It would be hot, but he would be hidden. Crawling up onto the seat, he said, "Okay. Let's get this show on the road." As a precaution though, he loaded his shot gun and pumped it once, then added another round. He was fully loaded, and had one 'in the spout'.

Night jumped slightly at the sound of the gun being loaded though sighed quietly before making sure she was fastened in then turned the car back on and started to drive into the small city that was closest to them. It took about 20 minutes to get there before she parked in the darkest part of the parking-lot and looked back to the blanket Fenris was hiding under. "You'll probably be unnoticed if you look around since we're pretty much completely in the dark so don't worry... I'm gonna need you to do something though... and I know you won't like it but..." she trialed off quietly as she thought about what had to be done but she couldn't look like she had been like this for awhile... she needed to look like she had just gotten the wounds... a normal soul would have gotten wounds healed way before now so there would be no scar or scabbing.

Fenris explained, "Better safe than sorry." when he heard her stop mid sentence, he frowned. he had a bad feeling about what was coming next. "But......?"

"A-a soul wouldn't keep a wound so long that it would make a scab or scar..." Night whispered softly as she looked back at Fenris thinking some and had a feeling he would know what she meant... she wouldn't have to have a fresh wound... in other words, a new would you have to be made over the other one.

Fenris understood alright, and he certainly didn't like it. He moved to the front of the car, and drew his knife. Tensing up, he gently held Night's face, and put the tip to the edge of her scar. A few seconds went by. then a minute. Then ten. Finally, with a cry, Fenris said, "I can't do it. I....I'm sorry, I just can't." Every time he almost was able to, he saw Amore in fear before him, under his knife. "Sorry." he repeated.

"FENRIS! You have to! Do you want Drake to die?!" Night said worriedly though a bit irritated... yea he had no trouble before with hurting her but now that he knew for certain that Amore was there he was hesitant and unsure... she nor Amore liked that.

Fenris shook his head, and said, "You're right. This will probably hurt allot, and I'm sorry." He pressed the tip of his knife to her scar again, and slashed along it quickly enough that the pain wouldn't last too long, but slow enough that he got the entire scar. "Your scar will be bigger now, but that should do the trick." Forgive me Amore, he thought.

Night whimpered some when she felt the sharp pain in her cheek though quickly forced herself to get over it. She then sighed some as Amore gave her some quick instructions and a way to convince the souls so she carefully took the knife and ran it down part of her arm as Amore's eyes showed for the concentration of what she was doing and for the fact she didn't make a sound like Nigh did. She sighed then handed the knife back to Fenris and leaned over to kiss him softly on the lips. "Sorry for making you do this love." she said softly making it clear for that moment it was Amore before she got out of the car then it was back to Night as she walked in carefully and was quickly attended to without suspicion.

Fenris sat in the car, and waited nervously for Night to return. All the while, his sub conscious tortured him. "You hurt Amore," it said, "You hurt her so easily, you obviously don't care about her very much at all do you? You probabally enjoyed hurting her. You hurt her, probably badly. It's going to leave a scar there for the rest of her life, and you did it. I's your fault. You hurt her......"

Within ten minutes or so Night came back out her face looking good as new without even the smallest scratch on it and the bag on her back was visibly full. She got into the car and looked at Fenris smiling some easily then looked at him worriedly seeing the look on his face. "What's wrong? You-you know you didn't hurt either of us as bad as the first time the wound was dealt... that time we both screamed in pain... no that didn't really hurt compared to before." she said softly to him looking at him a bit worriedly hoping that he was okay.

Fenris sat in the passenger side seat and didn't say anything. It looked like he was about to cry. He just shook his head, and said nothing. Hu buckled himself in, and stared at the dashboard.

Amore right away took ahold of Night and she groaned some at the feeling but soon Amore was in full control and lightly turned Fenris' head so he was looking at her and she leaned up to kiss him softly on the lips. "Love... you didn't hurt me...I swear you didn't, it just stung some but they fixed it... look, no more, it's not there anymore you don't have to look at it see?" she said softly turning her head slightly and touching her cheek where she scar had been to show him that it was no longer there and all that was left was a very very small pale line that was almost the exact same color as her skin.

Fenris said mournfully, "That's not it, its......... I cut you so easily. Once I cut you, and saw your blood..... I didn't feel any emotion about it..... but.... If I was like that.... That means i could hurt you again... maybe badly.... And I don't thing....." He trailed off, staring into space.
