Drake was pacing angrily. He was mad at Fenris for being an ass. "Are you okay?" Drake asked for the fiftieth time. He was worried. It hadn't been to long since she'd gotten pregnant, and then she was suddenly bedridden. that, and she had stomach pains. And abdominal pains. He was worried that something was wrong."

Night groaned some when she heard him ask again and she looked at him finally giving up. "No Drake, I'm in pain... really bad." she said softly and was worried she sighed some and thought a bit laying her head back and closing her eyes some. "Can you go get Doc?" she asked as she reopened her eyes and looked at Drake softly hoping that he would since she wanted to see if he could tell now what was wrong... she just knew something was wrong.

Just as Drake sprinted off, Fenris walked in. "What's wrong?" he asked harshly. He didn't mean to lash out at them, but It was had. "Abayb's coming? Isn't it early?" He was slightly worried, but not overly so. He was too angry.

Night shivered a bit when she heard Fenris' angry voice though she knew he wasn't really meaning to. She looked over at him her face flushed and pale some before she shook her head. "No... no something's wrong... I'm really hurting... and not in the way that I would think my water broke since I know it didn't..." she said softly and worriedly since she was really worried that something was wrong but she just couldn't think what... if anything was really wrong they would have to take her to a soul hospital for sure...

Fenris stopped in his tracks. "You're hurt?" he asked worriedly. "Was Drake leaving for doc just then?" He sat down on the edge of the bed. His mind began to race through the various things that could be wrong.

"I'm hurting... not like I got hurt but I am hurting... and yeah... Drake just left to go get Doc but I have a feeling that we'll have to go to the nearest city... Doc doesn't have the right stuff to take care of me really if there is a real problem with the baby." Night said softly looking at him softly and worriedly before placing her hand on her swollen stomach and really was worried... she hadn't felt the baby kick in days and that worried her. "I can't feel the baby moving." she whispered closing her eyes as tears started to stream from her eyes and it was pretty much clear that she hadn't told Drake this... if she had then he would have been hysterical days ago.

Fenris considered holding her for a bit, then asked, "is there anything I can do to help at all?" He felt horrible, because He was worried about what the baby not moving might mean.

Meanwhile, Drake Burst into Doc's place, saying, "Doc, come quick, Something's wrong with Night!"

"I don't really think there's anything that you can do Fenris... I'm sorry... there's really nothing Drake can do either." Night said softly then thought some and hesitated for a second before sitting up and giving Fenris a hug. "I'm sorry for putting you through all this crap... and I know it's me because I feel I knew that this whole thing would cause you and Drake to be mad at each other and for you to be upset period..." she whispered softly and really did feel bad for that and hoped that everything would calm down as soon as she had the baby and Amore could take over again.... well when Night wasn't taking care of the baby that is.

Fenris rubbed her back and said, "Don't worry about it. It's not your fault. You have every right to love Drake. Don't mind me." He managed to keep most of the anger out of his voice this time. "Besides, If you feel bad for loving Drake, then How do you think Drake will feel?"

"It's not that.... I feel bad for putting you and Amore through this..." Night said softly and sadly and it was clear that she really was upset with herself for making them go through this and really just wanted everything to be okay again and for them all to be friends again.

Doc looked up worriedly when he heard Drake run in and he stood quickly. "What's wrong Drake? What's wrong with Night? Did she get hurt? Is she okay?" he asked worriedly and checked through his stuff to make sure that he had everything that he might need to help Night.

Breathing hevily, Drake panted out, "Night... Pains..... bed ridden....." Before having to sit. "Come quick," he said.

"I know she's bedridden Drake, I'm the one that told you two that she needed to stay in bed." doc said softly then got his stuff and helped Drake stand before going with him to the room.

By this time Night was laying back down and her face was still flushed a bit as she just laid there with her eyes closed and breathing in and out deeply just as she always did when she was trying to relax.

Fenris glared a bit, but quickly controlled himself. "Something up doc." he said. Drake rushed over, and embraced Night lovingly. "It's gong to be okay," he repeated over and over.

Night sighed some when she saw the glare and neither her or Amore liked it though knew they could od nothing about it. Night hugged Drake back but sighed some when she heard him. "Drake, it's okay it's not like I'm dieing and I'm not the one freaking out so bad, you are." she murmured softly though she was quite worried.

"I'm not sure... that's what I'm here to find out." Doc sighed softly as he walked over to Night then looked at Drake. "Okay Drake, could you please step back and stop freaking out for a minute? I have to listen okay?" he said softly as he pulled out his stethoscope and was ready to listen to Night's stomach though wasn't waiting for the room to become quiet.

Fenris said, "Come here Drake." and Drake nervously crossed the room. They both intently watched doc, waiting for him to perform a miracle.

Doc calmly placed the stethoscope on Night baby belly and listened carefully for a few minutes in several places before standing up straight and feeling her enlarged stomach but he only got more worried as he did so. He then turned to the two boys and motioned for them to fallow him outside of the room and Night watched them worriedly but curiously.

Fenris put his arm around Drake and led hi outside. "What's up Doc?" Feniris said, Half wishing for a carrot. Drake felt a sense of doom and gloom permeate the room.

"I can't hear the babies heart beat... I think you need to take her in to one of those hospitals or clinichs... it's cold so you could wear something to cover up your necks but I don't have the right type of equipment to tell exactly what's wrong... I'm sorry." Doc said softly and really wished that he knew what was wrong but had a feeling that Night and Drake had just lost their baby... he hoped he was wrong though.

Fenris nodded and walked off to grab supplies. Drake began to punch the wall. He couldn't find any way to SAY what he was feeling. Turning to doc, he asked, "How long?"

"She'll be okay for awhile but if I'm right then you'll need to hurry her there anyway... I'm sorry Drake... I'm hoping I'm wrong but... I couldn't hear a heart beating other then her own." Doc said softly and really hoped that he was wrong but again had a feeling he was only too right. "You should to ahead and get something on that'll cover your neck so when Fenris gets back you can hurry while he gets something on to cover his own neck." he said softly and was worried that if they didn't cover up the backs of their necks that they would be spotted... he hoped not though.

Drake nodded, and grabbed a pair of scarves, and rushed to meet Fenris, nearly knocking Doc over. Fenris was collecting guns, ammo, and other supplies, when Drake burst in. Noticing that there was only enough for one person, Drake exclaimed, "What're you doing?!?" Fenris calmly looked at him, and said, "you're not coming. You're to emotionally involved. You'll be a liability."

"What?! No, Fenris I need to go! If it was your child wouldn't you want to go? I want to know what's going on... I want to know that everything's okay." Drake exclaimed almost frantic at the thought of not going with Fenris and Night... what if something really was wrong? He would want to be there to at least comfort Night.... why didn't Fenris want him to though? It wasn't like he was going to go off on a soul or anything.

As Drake said that, Fenris felt a cold grip on his heart, but he continued. "Look... I really wish i could take you... but you'll get us caught, I'm sure of it.... I can be objective about this, you'll want to break in and kidnap a doctor if you have to Right? That kind of attitude is great on a battlefield, not on a stealth operation."

"Why in the world would you think that?! Fenris, the worst that would happen is that I would get upset and punch a wall or something like that... why would I do anything about a doctor? If they can't help her there then they wouldn't be able to help her here where we have nothing like what they have at an actual hospital or doctors office. Please Fenris, I'm begging you! I have to go, I have to know that she's okay, and that the baby's okay." Drake said as tears started to come to his his eyes and it was clear that he was REALLY worried and wasn't going to give this up until he could go and that was clear.

"Spirits don't get angry." Fenris said matter-of-factly, "If you get upset they'll realize something.
