Natsuki heart skipped a few beats, she wanted to awaken Bakeneko to help Gaara

A horrible smile came from Gaara's lips as more blood came from his throat. The girl now looked very worried. Gaara stood and licked the blood from his lips. The girl backed away. Gaara didn't speak and his movements were rigid. Then Kankuro started laughing and hard. He couldn't stop. Little tears sprung to his eyes. Temari slapped him and yelled. "Your little brother dying and you laugh?!" Kankuro slowly shook his head, but couldn't speak he was laughing so hard.

Natsuki Hit kankuro's shoulder "...What's happening...? Natsuki didnt seem so worried anymore, she watched Gaara with much interest

Kankuro's makeup was running from laughter. "He's doing something I taught him. I'm suprized he learned it so quick. Let's just say he's....playing with the dolls..." The gourd was still behind the girl and she was paying it no attention. She was frozen by the look in "Gaara's" eyes. Then the real Gaara crawled out of the large gourd and nearly killed her with a blow from behind. Kankuro gave him a thumbs up and Gaara yawned. He grinned at his sensei. "You thought I couldn't beat her?"Kankuro laughed and picked up the puppet Gaara had used. "He used a bit of fake blood and basically made the puppet look alive." He was explaining it to Temari and Natsaki. Then Kankuro took out a tub of purple face paint and smeared some on Gaara's cheeks.

Gaara looked to see if Natsuki was impressed. She didn't seem to be and Gaara frowned. He had tried pretty hard to do anything to earn her attention, but was failing miserably. "Hey Natsuki....What you wanna do?" He wondered if she might want to hang out or something.

She hugged him tightly"I thought you were gonna die..!!"

Gaara blushed a dark red. 'w-well i'm o-ok." Suddenly he saw that girl Sakura and Naruto. They looked at him and giggled. Then they walked up to Natsuki. "Loving the loveless eh?" Sakura giggled as Gaara blushed deeper. "S-shut up Sakura!" Gaara stammered

natsuki opened her eyes, let go of Gaara and turned around, "Who are you and what do you want...?" she asked, her little raccoon-cat crawled out of her jacket and hissed

Sakura shrugged. Sorry it's just it was so cute. She pointed at Gaara who now looked like a tomato. She giggled some more. Sasuke rolled his eyes. "He looks stupid with that purple stuff on his cheeks." He pointed to where Kankuro had smeared paint on him. Gaara was feeling really embarresed. "G-go away..."

"..." she glared at Sasuke

Gaara could feel his heart skipping in his chest. He was now a shade of purple. Sakura ran up and talked to Natsuki. "I think he really likes you. Look at him.." She was smiling Gaara was playing with his fingers and glancing at Natsuki. he was still pink. Naruto and Sasuke were keeping him entertained by asking him a ton of questions.....well naruto was..

Natsuki smiled, "R-Really...?"

Sakura gave her a little smile. "Yep. You should've seen his face when you hugged him." Sakura giggled. "He looked like he'd been zapped. Maybe he'll tell you himself sometime. He seems so shy about it."

"...Maybe..."

Gaara was beginning to get annoyed by Naruto and went over to Sakura and Natsuki.Sakura grinned. "Hey Gaara do you like Natsuki?" Gaara blushed. "W-what do you mean.." "Exactly what I said silly." Gaara looked at Natsuki. His face was as dark as his scarlett hair. "Y-yeah..she's a great f-friend." Gaara went back to Naruto ans Sasuke to avoid further interrogation. Sakura laughed. "So shy."

Natsuki smiled, "Yep...!"

Gaara wondered why Sakura had done that to him, He didn't want to ruin his frienship with Natsuki by telling her how he felt. She had already turned down Kankuro and he seemed more the type for girls to like. Gaara was short and a ginger. Not really cute.

Natsuki sat down, thinking of Gaara

Gaara sat beside Natsumi and looked at her. "Natsumi...why did you turn down Kankuro? He seems to be attractive to girls yet you rejected him...I'm confused...It made him really sad..."

"...because..there is someone else i like..." she slightly blushed

Gaara looked at the ground and drew in the dirt with a stick. "Who do you like more than Kankuro? Do I know him." Then Gaara's face turned pink. "Are you a lesbian?" He didn't know how he'd be able to take it if she was. That would mean he had no chance at all.

"...im not..! and you should know him...you know him more than anyone...!"

Gaara gave a strange look. "Naruto?" he knew the blonde ninja quite well. He didn't know who else it could be other than his sensei and that would be just gross.

SHe chuckled, "no..! I'll give you a guess...well..he has...a dark red hair color...!"
