Is it just me? They seem popular, but I rarely meet anyone else that likes them :\

Anyone else collect Monster high dolls? And if so, do you have a favorite one?

My niece collects them. After I get my cubby shelves built for my desk, I may fill a few shelves with MH dolls.

My favorite is Abbey. She's just too adorable. :squee:

@Ikuto Lol, yeah, there's a whole bunch! I have a bunch of them

@Anna Abbey is my second fave  She's so cuuute! My favorite is Lagoona  I have a shelf for all of the basic ones, but I had to stick all the beach ones I have and the two other ones on my vanity dresser. I need more shelves lol

I want to start collecting them but I don't have the money to buy them and no one ever buys me them Christmas/birthdays.
Draculaura, Clawdeen, Abby and Cleo are my favorites - in that order ^.^

I remember my friends and I going to Target and just ogling them. xD I wish I had them to play with when I was 10 or so!
But I don't collect stuff in general, I lose track of things a lot haha.

@Codette I don't have a lot of money either. I collect them bit by bit. I put money aside here and there to buy fun things. It's a good stress relief to buy something fun and I saw Draculaura in the store around Halloween last year and said to myself '....I want that'. I have two Draculauras now lol The regular one and my boyfriend bought me the Gloom Beach one. I looooove Abbey  But I can't find her anywhere yet. She's supposed to come out this month, though. I like Clawdeen and Cleo, too, but there aren't my fave. Funnily enough, though, I have three Cleo dolls and she's my least favorite lol

@Abduco I wish I had them when I was younger, too! I normally don't collect things and I didn't intend to collect these at first, but they're so cute, I couldn't help it.

@Nephila Awh, they aren't creepy :( A little cheesy, but, you know. I don't play with mine or anything. They just sit on the shelves, but is it still creepy? O_o So far, everyone I know said there's nothing wrong with it. Probably because they're nerds who collect action figures, but eh. Am I creepy? :(

I wish I could collect those dolls.
I have to wait to get my own money for that though.
My mom is against me buying "Barbies" at my age (16).
So in the future, I definitely want to buy Draculara...I think I spelled her name right.

Ah, I know how you feel. I'm almost 22, so my mom won't buy them for me, but she doesn't mind if I buy them for myself. As long as I'm not 'wasting my money' on them, she says. So if I buy one here or there, she doesn't gripe about it. Although, she hunted down a Holt Hyde for me on Ebay last December. She was ruthless lol She was outbit so many times. She was so sure that she'd be outbid again that she won 2 by mistake. lol

Draculaura was the first one I bought :) She's so adorable!

I don't collect them, but I love to look at them in the store. They're so cute! I wish they had more stuff like that around when I was younger. I for sure would have loved them.

I have never heard of them so I google them and then I realize you were talking about them. I don't collect them nor do I want too. But they are quite pretty, I suppose. o.o;

These are Monster High dolls.

They're cheesy and the stories are lame, but they were so cute, that I couldn't resist. And now I'm working on collecting them. It's a nice stress relief to get something fun, so collecting them has lowered my stress level. No matter how stupid that sounds lol, it's true

They're cute. I can see why people would collect them. Some of the dolls are pretty too.

They remind me of Bratz dolls with how they're shaped and the eyes.

My little sister had a bunch of Bratz dolls when she was younger and I never liked them. I can see the resemblance, but for some reason, I never liked Bratz. Dunno why. O_o I thought it was funny, though, that when you wanted to change their shoes, their whole foot came off lol

I babysat a friend's daughter on Sat and wondered why the Bratz dolls did not have feet. XD I guess that solves that. I think the Monster High dolls are much cuter though. XD

For a while, one of my sister's dolls only had one foot. She had misplaced the other shoe. When I asked, she said '...I dunno. ..Maybe she's a pirate. .....I lost the shoe, okay?!' It was amusing lol

Mmh. I think I prefer custom-made BJDs.
Although, I really do like the MH Dolls. They are pretty fancy and cute. : )
Going to take a look now that I was informed there were more, made.

BJDs are cute, too, but I can't tell you how guilty I would feel after buying one. They're way too expensive for me. My brother gave me a Wishing Pot a few years ago and that was my wish, to buy one with the money I saved in the pot, but a few months ago, I changed my mind and used the wish for something else. They're pretty and I love to look at them, but I couldn't bring myself to pay that much :\

As for more, yeah, there were a ton more made. It's up to about 30 dolls from the original 5, plus the SDCC release of Black and White Frankie

They are indeed rather pricey. I've yet to purchase my own. I would probably feel guilty too, but it'd be nice to have at least one to admire and claim as your own. Regardless of the costs. I mean, possibly someday if you ever roll in the dough, it'd be nice to be able to treat yourself to one if that is what you really want. : P

I would more or less use the money for purchasing myself a new wardrobe. I am still wearing clothing I used to wear back in high school when I was 17. I am almost 20 now. : (

I checked it out! The dolls look really cute!

Yeah, I agree. If I ever had a super awesome job and everything was taken care of, I'd get one with some extra money. I'd love to have one  They're so pretty

The first time I heard about Monster High dolls was when I heard people say they used some of their clothing for ABJDs. I can't see myself buying one now, but I think I would've liked one a few years ago when I was into Bratz.

@ Squidie64: & Gin Oshira:: Bobobie and Reisinsoul (they're like cousin/sister companies and share some of the same sculpts) aren't as expensive as most companies. There's also Doll Leaves (I think) and Angel of Dream. :)
