i watched 'saw, the final chapter', it was gorey to say the least.
i am not a fan of the 'saw' series at all but the last one was pretty good for tying up loose ends.
it had some very creative writing for the script but it still had a lot of gore.
for me i would give it three stars.
it is worth watching if you like your gore with a side of horror!
if you do watch it let us know what you think of the movie, critiques it and give us your star count please~!
if you like scary, horror, thrillers, mysteries or really any kind of movie mikuhiko: feel free to let us know about it.
once again you can chat about anything here.
we are not creepie at all.
well maybe sdgfam08: does a creeperish kind of dealieo but she is sweet nonetheless.

i don't have much purple or black i am afraid.
i have seen his 'night of the living dead' and i thought one more but didn't see it on your list.

right now i think it is 'the grudge' but it changes often.
i also love alfred hitchcock movies, the absense of gore and really seeing what is happening is even scarier sometimes.
i also love his way of potography angles.
i don't think i have seen that movie.
wanna give me a critique of it?

It's a documentary style movie about a paranormal investigator who is investigating a missing woman. I've seen Psycho and Rear Window. Are there any other Hitchcocks that are a must-see?

not a must see.
i like 'marnie', 'the rope', 'the man who knew too much' or really anything by him.
i like 'rear window' a lot and 'psycho' is the reason i WILL not take a shower, ever!

I'm really excited for that movie; Guillermo Del Toro is one of my favorite directors. When I saw Psycho it was in a full theater on campus. Really fun!

Have you seen any good scary movies recently? I just saw Insidious and thought it was pretty good. I liked how they used astral projection in a scary way.

i haven't seen any good scary movies lately, no.
i watched 'saw, the final chapter' the other night and was not impressed.
more gore with not much scare, though i jumped quite a bit.
chickens do that ;p.
i saw someone else say they liked that movie in another forum.
were you really scared?

Yeah it was definitely scary. The beginning has some good suspenseful moments and the story is interesting as well.
I never liked movies like Saw that are just gore fests. I finally saw the first one several months ago and found it boring and dumb.

Do you guys mind if I awkwardly insert myself into this conversation? :U
I really like horror movies, unless they're disgusting. I recently watched Quarantine 2: The Terminal.
It wasn't really THAT scary, it was just nasty. There was vomit, blood, gore, and a guy stuck a needle up his eye. e.e;;;;
