It was storming pretty good here yesterday and today.
Lots of thunder and lightning and hail!
Our power went out for three hours yesterday
and twice (for like seconds) today!

Do you guys like storms?

As long as my power doesn't go off then I don't mind them. I have too many reptiles to worry about when it goes off. It just makes me really stressed.

My sister has fish and when our power went out, the filters stop working.

I used to hide behind the couch during storms haha
But if I'm all alone, I get a little scared =/
but that usually never happens, cuz someone is always here in this house haha

We had some bad thunder last night, that was about it. I love sleeping during rain storms.

My sister was freaking out and thought we were having an earthquake too, and she told me to go to the basement. Being a nerd, I had to google what to do during an earthquake. That got me no where.. It told me to either go under a table, go to bed, or stand outside. I don't know what to do.

Storm? Rain? What's that!? :P We haven't had rain here in months. But yes I do love rain, and I also enjoy a mild storm. Too much loud crackly booming thunder scares me a little though. I don't know why. Maybe because I was in a tornado when I was in kindergarten, who knows. I think thunderstorms are beautiful and amazing :)

Yeah I absolutely love sleeping in rain storms!

And I am scared of tornadoes o.O We don't get too many of those out here
(at least near my house) but even when it's a tornado warning I try to stay calm.
Unless my dad calls me and tells me that I'm in trouble (he watches the weather constantly and has scanners for his job) then I know I'm safe.

That's great, I hope that our daughter feels the same way when it comes to her father. She is eleven months old, so it's hard to know haha I don't think she's experienced a thunder storm since she's been born. Aww :(

When it comes to weather, my dad has to look at it constantly for his job
cuz if it's going to rain, he needs to do stuff early and yadda yadda
He's always looking at the weather channel so he'll make sure i'm safe :)
he doesn't live with me, but he would call, I always have my phone with me

I absolutely love storms. I was never able to sleep at night without a storm, or at least a recording playing of thunder and pattering of rain. Although ever since we moved here, it's not rained at all, maybe a bit in the dead of night or a sprinkle here and there, but other than that, nothing! Although my second favorite thing, the ocean and the sound of the ocean, is right beside us, so I can listen to its rushing as it hits the cliffside.

I still miss my storms. I loved the coolness it brought, the wind from the passing rain, the dark clouds rolling by.

I wanna live near the ocean! o.O
I live three hours away from the beach.
And I wish it was still storming :(

Kya Katsumi: It took a while to get to where I am, but I'm here! It's got an amazing view, but it lacks storms, which would make it all the better! Really, just some dark clouds at least, it would kick up the breeze even more and make it that much better.

I'm working towards something like that :) A better place than the shack sized track house on the bad side of town that I live in now!

It's where I came from myself. Along with the midwest area of the States. If you have the will, and the rock-hard stubbornness, you can get there. Hopefully somewhere that has more rain than this.
