Mine is roses also~ I think I actually like them because they're cliche and unoriginal. :XD

I also like buttercups because they're so tiny and dainty. I liked them when I was little, but I think now I like them in another way because they remind me of my childhood.

Lmao!! My memory is my school where we had a huuuge field out front and would run around for fun. Lots of pretty patches of buttercups~

It also reminds me of something else that I like...

Purple daises, alstroemerias, and snapdragons. Very country flowers, I don't care.

I love red roses, simply for the whole cliché romance factor that is associated with them, and also they are gorgeous flowers. I also adore white lilies, even though they're considered flowers of sadness due to the affiliations with funerals. Also, I adore bluebells and daisies. :]

I love enormous red roses. The bigger, the better. Red's my favorite color in the entire world. And they have to actually be red. Not that weird pinky red. Think Black Magic roses.

Daffodils. They're beautiful, and seeing the first one always makes me realise that spring is coming!

My favorite flowers are: forget-me-nots (because of a reference to them in one of my favorite books that I found completely beautiful and romantic... since reading that, I find the flower very romantic), carnations, stargazer lilies, babies breath (I know, that's an odd one), and heather (which I've received some hell over because Heather is my real name... but I honestly do find the flower beautiful and would still feel that way about the flower if my name wasn't Heather).

I love Tulips but I think if they become Tulips mania then they are all the better. Because the way they are deform makes them all the more beautiful. ^^ I absolutely love it. I wish I got them as a present from my boyfriend, ever I get one.

Birdsfoot Trefoil.

They are native to Europe and western Asia, but they grow(as an invasive species) in north America. They grow well in poor soil and takeover the roadsides out here where I live, and are really resilient except for when you pick them, much to my dismay. They wilt in a matter of minutes...

Other random things I know about it is that it's poisonous to humans and in the language of flowers it has one of the few negative meanings: Revenge.

Daffodils.
I've loved them for as long as I can remember. They're like the signal that Spring's coming, these sunny little flowers that bravely pop out in huge groups against the greyness, like "don't worry guys! Winter's over! More flowers to come soon, 'kay?"
Plus I think their trumpets make them look like puckered lips.
I had them for my wedding flowers, Daffodil is also my daughter's middle name. So yeah, I obviously love 'em a lot.

My second favourite are bluebells. They're so delicate and pretty, and they remind me of being a kid. They used to grow in the copse around our house, and my dad used to make up stories about a fairy called Bluebell who used to use the flowers as hats.

Hm...this is hard for me since I like quite a few. I think I'd have to go with a lilly of some kind. I like pansies quite a bit too though. I love using them in salads and things like that. They just make things look pretty. Johnny jump ups I like for the same reason.

I also have a small garden of herbs growing that has lavender and rosemary. I love the purple colour of lavender even though the flowers are small.

Sunflowers are my absolute favorite. When I was 18 my boyfriend at the time and I were driving around and we saw this massive field of sunflowers off the side of the highway. We went off the road, grabbed a camera and ran around. They were so tall that we'd have to shout to find each other, and petals kept raining down on us with every little movement we made. It was one of the most magical moments of my life. We spent forever out there, looking at cool bugs, playing with butterflies that were waaaaay too high for us to catch, just running and dancing around and being normally, silly teenagers. I left with my hair full of sunflower petals and my mind full of memories. I still adore sunflowers and just feel warm when I see them.

I'm also exceptionally fond of fuchsias, celosia and passion flowers. They're so bizzare and different looking, you'd almost think they came out of a doctor Seuss book. My mother is a fanatical gardener, so spring always meant my sister and I got to go with her to the greenhouses and look at all the plants. She'd always let us both pick out a plant to bring home. Sometimes she'd want us to get baskets, and I'd get fuchsias and my sister would get this weird, pink caterpillar looking plant. If she wanted it in a pot on the ground I'd run straight for the celosia, or "those fire flowers!" as I called them, because celosia was too hard for me to remember.

I'm in a whole family of gardeners, I just love plants in general.

Tiger lilies, water lilies, star-gazer lilies, thistles, hyacinths, ivy, baby's breath, orchids, nightshade, calla lilies, sweet william, forget-me-knots, saffron, foxgloves, wolfsbane, almond blossoms, amaranth, anthurium, lavender, and wake robin are all favorites of mine, and I have to admit, I'm a sucker for roses, just not traditional colours. Sure red ones are pretty, but the genetically altered blue, lavender and black ones are gorgeous! *giggles* My boyfriend has such a hard time getting me flowers for Valentines ^.^

back in elementary school we had to do some 'work-ed' at a local grocery store (Safeways, for those that may know it), and my favorite time was working in the floral department. I kinda wanna be a florist. I have quite a few meanings behind flowers memorized ^.^

I hate roses, but I have a reason. xD I was in FFA for three years in high school, so I spent a LOT of time working in the school flower shop. I have very sensitive skin, so every time I was pricked while dethorning a rose, my skin would get red and painful. >_< It's actually quite a lot of work to dethorn rose after rose!

I love tulips and freesia - the smell of freesia is one of my favorites, and is probably why I love baby powder so much. xP Lavender is my favorite scent when I sleep, and I love the shape of it - it's fun to draw. And sunflowers... well, they just make summer for me!

I've never really had much of a favorite flower, my mother grew hundreads of different flowers in the front garden, but I've never had all that much fasicanation with them.
However, during my senior year of highschool, two weeks before graduation, my german class decided to have a camping trip.
We all arrived to the assigned camping place safely, however, instead of noticing the bulky RV on the camping plot, I noticed what looked like a sea of orange.
I've had a crazy obsession with the color for a few years now, but I've known of any orange flowers that I liked.
After spending a few days there I found out the wild flower had a name, Indian Paintbrush.

Needless to say I call it my favorite flower now, and dispite the fact it is called a wildflower, I love how lovely it is.
Shame I can't go into a flower shop and buy any though--- xD

I really like roses (most colors, but red and white are my favorites) and cherry blossoms. I actually have a red rose tattoo!
