I'm obviously willing for compromise, but it's important to know what I do and don't like and vice versa. :) So what are your thoughts? I may be logging off here shortly just so ya' know. Well, before Dexter had to go, he let me know he really loved your writing style, though he hadn't been around long enough to let the story develop, and said you'd be a good person to go to. I really have no limit on preferences, except! Except when it comes to romance. It's weird to me and I like to avoid it, at least on my side. All I can say is that I've never known what to write when it comes to that one annoyingly present genera, and my writing really goes downhill otherwise. So it kind of wards off some people who seem to be unable to function without the concept of love or romance in a storyline.

I was thinking possibly one male, to help even things out, who works there, and then a female, if you'll have another. I'd like my main character to be the female of course. I'm really cutting back on my male characters, it's too much of a chore. Do you have any character ideas that you might like to see there in the cafe?

Tachi, lol you don't know what to write?! Well, my idea of romance in a story doesn't have to be anything mushy or corny or girly. Maybe they just think of each other as more than friends, in the sense they don't like when the other is flirting with someone, or might possibly be with someone else. I kind of like when stories are like that, where there's a sort of hidden love for one another that maybe doesn't ever get as far as even a first kiss and is never actually spoken.

We could always just start a story and I could, from time to time, add in thoughts from my charrie in her romantic aspects and you can bloom from those or shoot them down and we can just work from there. You'll never be comfortable or know what to write if you don't try. But, I don't want to force it on you or anything, lol. I don't want to mind rape you or anything.

Oh, believe me, I've tried writing romance, both in full and in small areas, on different forums. It was awkward to both write and read, in the end, sloppily written and terribly worded. I suppose I'm just stupid in the idea. Because hell, I'm thirty five and I've never been in love. Nor have I even thought about the concept. It's basically a foreign thing to me and few people are left after I find everyone that seems to want a romantic concept in their stories, so I don't have many people to go to.

Then I place that side of me into the main character of my story, or they're widowed and don't want to try to find love anymore. It's difficult to vary the characters that way and make them all independent of one another, but I do. I wouldn't be able to tell your character what to think or how to behave, however, it's a one-sided thing that's an annoying crutch *Fumes*

Lol! Sorry Tachi, that I disappeared last night. I was around, but I ended up in bed on my tab and I can't actually type more than a sentence or two on that damn touch screen and it takes me like ten minutes. So if I ever don't respond to you but am around, it's safe to assume that I'm not ignoring you, but that I'm on the tab that hates me.

SO! Let's think up a story that doesn't have any romance in it, and I'll play with you until the end if I can! Like you, I too have a hard time writing a story, but if there isn't some form of romance. I'll love the challenge though! In fact, I'm looking forward to stepping outside of my comfort zone.

Do you have anything particular in mind? Maybe some deeper twist to something I may like? :)

Oh, it's okay, I had to get off the computer anyway. It was about time, that is. And I agree, it's annoying to type on a touchscreen and it takes forever.

Well, it's more of a whimsical story with serious and dark aspects, some fantasy, while being modern and more up to date with today's technology and times. Rather serious, and sometimes silly and funny. Definitely suspense, and it delves into more sad, serious, worrisome areas later on. So, it's got a lot of aspects in it, depending on the time and situation in the story.

Well, I'm certainly interested and willing to give it a go. :) Which character would you like to play? I'm cool with either. :)

I'd certainly like to play the part of the imaginary friend; I've got a character all thought out for that role, anyway. And already prepared, since someone else and I were going to but they kind of left me hanging right after we decided on the whole thing.

Well, since it never got off the ground the first time, there's not much in ideas. Well, other than hoping you'd post first, because my character appears second, after yours wishes on a shooting star for a friend. Then it can go from there, really, there's not much for specific debate other than questions or comments along the way.

Hmmm. So should my character probably come from a broken home? I could see that being helpful, on my part anyway.

Well, yes. Anything from multiple sad foster homes or a young outcast, a broken home, cruel peers. Something that would warrant asking for a friend from a chance encounter with a shooting star.

Perfect. Would you set the thread up? Or I could do it, but probably not until later this evening, possibly tomorrow. When I set them up I get really picky about wording and fonts and I always add pictures, it takes me an eternity. Lol

Oh, I add pictures and little wording too. But I'm pretty cut and hang with my images. Later I might change it if I have something better. That's what the edit button's for! And I use it. A lot. So, off I go! It'll be in the Unclassified section, since it's pretty much almost every genera in one.
