" It has . I don't want to be afraid of them. I want to fight back. "

"I can help you with that, if you're sure you want to fight back," Jean said. Before Tyler could answer, she continued. "If you agree, I'm not going to go easy on you. You will learn everything I know and the bruises on your body will be a testament of it."

"She isn't kidding. If it wasn't for Jean, I'd be dead many times over if not for their trainings," Alex said with ease, remembering how Jean helped train him. Now that he had a couple of blades, he would ask Zero to help train with them, of course it wouldn't be with his sabre, that would just be like asking for the blades to be destroyed.

" I do want to train. I'll glady let you teach me to fight." Tyler said .

"Alright then. Sora, what about you? I know Zero will want to see what you can do as well as I can, but you can accept or decline my offer, just like your trainer."

" I accept." Sora wanted to help his trainer out. Even though they had just met.

Jean nodded at both of them, knowing that they would hate her before it was all over. Before she could say anything else, Angelus crashlanded near Alex.

"Angelus!" Alex shouted, quickly going over to her. "What happened?" he asked in alarm. Several scales over her body had scratch marks and scorch marks as well. She would live, but she was heavily bruised and needed help quickly.

"Black Dragon," was all she said before she poked her Bishiball and went into it

Tyler was shocked to see Angelus badly hurt. He hoped she would be alright.

Alex growled as he looked down at the Bishiball and wondered just what exactly happened.

" Is she going to be alright?" Sora asked. Tyler had a bad feeling about Angelus' attack . He hoped it had nothing to do with with the message he got.

"She will be...I hope," Alex said before calming down. "someone out there has a black dragon, most likely Inuart's Black Dragon...damnit," he said cursing. He would let Angelus rest in the ball for a while and see how her damages healed. If necessary, he would ask Sora to use a Cure spell on the dragon, if he knew it or any of the higher versions.

"First things first, what do you two know about close combat fighting or fisticuffs in general?" Jean asked the two.

" I don't know much really about close combat fighting ." Tyler said in reply to Jean. " Don't know much either." Sora said .

"Alright then, we'll work from scratch then," Jean said with conviction, and started explaining her style of the Blue Dragon to both Tyler and Sora.

Both of them listened to what Jean was telling them. Tyler thought it would be easy to do. He didn't have much fighting experience.

Ark was sparring with Zero, trying to calm down from seeing Angelus damaged that bad while Jean was teaching Sora and Taylor, but it wasn't working as he wanted to as he felt the blade that Zero was holding touch his neck, again.

"And dead. That's the fifth time Ark, is Angelus' injury causing you to be so distracted?" Zero asked as the trainer glared at him. Zero instantly put his hands up in a defensive manner. "I didn't mean it like that, and I'm worried as well, but she'll heal. And then we can get whichever bastard did that to her," Zero responded as Ark nodded.

Taylor and Sora continued to learn how to fight. It wasn't as easy as he thought it would be.

Jean continued to watch the two before she started to see them tire. "Alright, that's enough for today," she stated as she headed towards the two of them. She was impressed. Not many people who knew nothing when it came to fighting was able to practice for so long. She then turned around to see Alex and Zero in another duel with the swords before shaking her head in amusement.

I wonder what a Hiro would think of his skills with the sword? she asked herself.

Taylor sat down on the ground next to Sors. His muscles hurt terribly but he knew it was worth the pain. He wanted to get stronger as a fighter. He knew Sora did too.

Alex was starting to sweat after the multiple spars with Zero, but his anger dissipated, which was what he wanted. "Alright Zero, that's enough," he said before Zero nodded and checked the blade to make sure that no damage was done to it. Seeing that there wasn't, he returned the blade to Alex.

"Feeling better?" the swordsman asked as Alex just nodded, too tired to speak. He then noticed his surroundings and surprised that it had gotten dark while they were sparring.

Taylor knew Alex was upset. He hoped his friend found out who was responsible . He would help if he could.

Alex headed towards where Taylor, Sora and Jean were before settling down next to him, exhausted. The adrenaline that was running through him, as well as the anger, finally left him.

" You okay?" Taylor asked Alex. He was concerned about his friend . Taylor would hate it if something bad would happen to Sora. He was beginning to understand what it meant to be trainer.

"I'll be alright, thanks for asking though." Alex said before he remembered something. "Hey Sora, do you know any magic spells?"

" I know a few. But I'd like to learn some more." Sora said eagerly.

"Which ones do you know?" He asked in a civil manner, keeping all tones of hope out of his voice, or so he hoped. He didn't want to be disappointed nor did he want Sora to be disappointed in himself if he didn't know the spell that he wanted.

" I know Cure , fire , Thunder and others? What sort of spell do you need? " Sora asked.
