Taylor and Carly both nodded at the suggestion, especially since it looked like a good place to eat.

Simon led the way to the line, glad that it was a long one. He hoped the food was good.

Carly and Taylor followed Simon and got into the short line behind him. They wondered if the food was good and asked Simon.

" I don't know really. I hope it is. " Simon said hoping that the line was a good indicator.

"Then we'll all try it together then," Carly said with a small grin on her face. She just hoped that it wasn't packed, especially with the weird sensation that something bad was about to happen soon.

Taylor was glad that they had been seated quickly and started to look at the menu. He wasn't sure what he would get.

Carly looked over the menu and wondered what to get.

Renamon felt as if something was awry here, but couldn't put her finger on it just yet. She hoped that this feeling of wrongness was...well, wrong, but something told her that it wasn't.

" Are you ready to order ?" The waitress asked.

Carly nodded and ordered a chicken sandwich and a diet soda, Max ordering the same.

Renamon's eyes narrowed as she overheard a male talking on a phone about the three that were being a thorn and that they wouldn't expect anything right now. This isn't good... she thought to herself as she prepared to tell Simon and the others what she overheard.

Simon ordered a taco salad and saw Renamon look suspicious .

Taylor ordered a chicken salad wrap and some fries.

The waitress walked off to turn in the order.

Carly noticed that Renamon was acting strange and wondered what was going on. "Renamon?" She asked out of curiosity.

" Something feels wrong about this place." Renamon said , still listening in for anything suspicious.

"Wrong how?" Simon asked.

" I heard some people talking about us in here." She said in a whisper.

Simon raised his eye in alarm at the news. He calmed down as the waitress came with their drinks and food.

" Can I get you anything else?" The waitress asked once the food was passed out.

"No thank you," Carly said.

The waitress left to serve the other tables.

Renamon continued to listen, trying to see if anyone else was talking about them. If the whole cafe was in on this...

Taylor took a bite of his sandwich hoping everything was alright. He didn't want to be captured again.

Max took a bite of her sandwich in silence, not wanting to be a captive ever again.

Simon ate his salad and kept his eyes open, not wanting to be kept off guard.

The scientist closed his phone as he started eating his lunch, glancing out of the corner of his eye at the three. Noticing that they were tense, he cursed silently. How... he started thinking before he saw the Renamon. That makes sense...that Renamon must have overheard me he thought as he cursed silently in his head as a plan came to mind. First, he had to take out the Renamon, then he could go from there.

Taylor finished his lunch. He hoped that Alex would be back soon.

Carly and Max finished their lunches, both hoping that Alex and Tracy were okay.
